Accès facile à l'ensemble du sud-est de l'Arizona: parc national de Kartchner Caverns, monuments funéraires de Tombstone, Bisbee, Coronado et Chiricahua, Sierra Vista et Fort historique de Huachuca, observation des oiseaux, randonnée et visites touristiques dans la région, notamment la réserve naturelle de Ramsey Canyon. Si vous avez une moto, nous avons une allée en béton, donc pas de stationnement en gravier. Aussi beaucoup de vignobles à proximité. Quiet and peaceful home and neighborhood

We appreciated the host's generous hospitality. The entire house - kitchen, bathroom and laundry room were stocked with every comfort from home. I have never seen a VBRO with a kitchen so fully stocked w appliances and spices. The host truly desires to make guests feel welcome.We also appreciated restaurant suggestions in nearby Sierra Vista and Tucson. The Welcome Guest Book gives excellent information. We especially appreciated the written warning re: speed traps on Hwy. 90. I'm sure it saved us a ticket!

Post Winter Getaway

We had a very enjoyable experience at Whetstone. Valley was amazing and the property was very well stocked. We are veterans of VBRO and even with some 5 star reviews we still, in the past, could offer additions. Valley, however, thought of everything. The house is well situation to all the attractions we were planning to visit. We highly recommend this property and hope we will be welcomed back next year.

Homey, Great Location

The property was exactly what we needed for our 5 week stay. The location was ideal with easy access to hiking, wine tasting, and local sites.The kitchen was VERY well equipped, including spices and basic cooking needs, like oil and flour. The beds were very comfortable. The entire property was clean and modern.We won't hesitate to return when our travels take us to that area.

Would stay here again in a heartbeat

If returning to the Whetstone (Sierra Vista) area I would not hesitate to stay at Valley's place. The home was exactly as described, Steve and Valley were terrific and the online photos of the rental house were spot on. The reviews I read before booking were accurate - no surprises. We enjoyed sitting out back. Our dog enjoyed the fenced in yard. The kitchen was better stocked with pots, pans, spices and appliances than most rentals. Valley's Place, Steve and Valley all contributed to making our three week stay memorable.

Our home away from home

When we arrived our hostess was there to show us the property and it was as represented and more, clean exceptionally stocked with many more appliances than we ever expected. It was very comfortable and came with our owm private bird watching back yard and many interesting attractions within reasonable driving distance; golf, Whitewater Sandhill cranes, Kartchner Caverns, Tombstone, Bisbee and more. But best of all was making new Acquaintances who turned out to be new Friends. What great hosts, thanks for sharing your home with us.

Great Country Hideaway

The property is a well maintained 2 BR with a modern kitchen. We arrived late, but the owner was accomodating and all arrangements were in place. The property has a large backyard which help us with keeping our dog occupied. I'm sure we'll be back.

Wonderful stay

Everything was great and the hosts responded very quickly to any questions. We really enjoyed the covered patio. The beds and sofas were comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. They have everything you need (crockpot, Keurig, coffee pot, electric kettle, spices, various pillows, heating pad, laundry detergent…) and more for your visit. I would definitely recommend staying here.

2nd stay still good

Our 2nd stay here was wonderful. Location is good, property is beautiful. Valley thinks of everything you could need for your home away from home. We were able to cook, relax and be comfortable in this house. We would stay here again. Highly recommend this property to stay at and Valley is so wonderful to work with.

Wonderfully QUIET!

We so enjoyed our stay at Valley and Steve’s home. It was fully stocked and then some! The special things were the really comfortable beds, comfy robes and the quiet and relaxing feel of the home. She even borrowed us some bird feeders and we loved watching the hummingbirds, cardinals, doves and other types of bird that visited daily! There were a couple of small things that came up, but they were addressed right away. Owners were very easy to work.

SKY ISLAND ADVENTURE HQ

A well-appointed house at a major crossroads in the Sky Island highway network, such as it is. A great location for an adventure headquarters. I was a local, between houses. This house will go on my list of places for overflow guests, and Sky Island explorers. Bring your dog's sleeping pad, it's 100% tile. Do some food shopping on the way in--it's a half-hour to a grocery store.

My husband and I rented this property while on vacation in southern Arizona . I was excited that this property was pet friendly in the listing on VRBO, since we were bringing our two small dogs with us. The description in VRBO stated that there was a large fenced in backyard which was correct. However, it did not mention that the yard was not well-maintained and had a serious fire ant problem on the property grounds. My pets could not even go out in the yard to potty due to the overgrowth of prickly weeds and fire ants. The living quarters in the house were well maintained and clean. However the situation with our pets made it impossible for us to stay at this location. We spent one night on the property and left the next day. The owners stated that they were sorry that our pets could not adjust to the Arizona terrain. However, the owners were well aware months in advance that we would be bringing our pets. I feel that improvements should have been made prior to our arrival. I would not recommend this property to anyone with pets or small children.

Very Comfy

The house was very nice neighborhood didn’t look the best but safe and quiet. I am extremely allergic to pet dander and had to take Benadryl everyday. It seemed to be the soft living room furniture has had animals on it.

Birthday Celebration

We were very impressed with the "Welcome Home" feeling we got when we walked in. Everything we could possible need was there, complete kitchen supplied all our needs. We found beds and furniture comfortable, clean just as it was online. Very spacious. Pet friendly and safe. We look forward to another stay.

Valley’s Place 5-18-21

We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the house very much. Everything is clean and very well maintained. Furnishings are comfortable and there are plenty of kitchen supplies to make your stay enjoyable and easy for making your own meals. Only slight issue was the gas bottle for the grill was empty. So we called and a full bottle was promptly delivered! Would recommend this house to anyone coming to this area. DH

Stayed here with family. Our adult kids stayed at The house across the street. This was a nice place to stay, had everything we needed for our stay. Would stay here again. Nicely decorated and comfortable.

Although new to HomeAway, Valley's Place has been a vacation rental with another provider for almost 2 years, where we have Superhost status and numerous 5-Star reviews. We love cooking good food & drinking good wine. In fact, we make our own wine and do quite a bit of canning (interesting things like habanero sauce, blackberry black pepper & aged rum jam, pickled asparagus, paleo apple butter, etc.) We often fish in Alaska for halibut and make our own smoked salmon. We especially like it when we get to meet our guests, which frequently gives us an opportunity to share the things we make.
Our favorite compliment from our guests is when they express that their experience has been like a "home away from home."
Our first vacation rental experiences were in Barcelona, Spain and Amsterdam. We absolutely loved the feeling of experiencing how we would live if we were locals there! That's what inspired us to create our own vacation rental. So far, it's been great to share our own area with folks from other places, especially because Cochise County, Arizona is a totally amazing destination in so many ways!

Southeastern Arizona has so much to offer! The climate is great all year round and because of the elevation, in the summer it is much cooler than Phoenix or even Tucson.
We are in close proximity to many of the attractions that bring travelers our way. Having lived in this community for almost 40 years, we know the area extremely well and can always make suggestions to our guests.

Everyone who has stayed at Valley's Place finds it to be bright and airy, extremely comfortable and a very quiet neighborhood.
Sitting out on the back patio with the fairy lights on creates a space that is very relaxing and enjoyable. It is also private as there is a large fenced backyard. We live in the neighborhood ourselves, so are readily available when our guests might need something.
