The property was well kept. The pool and hot tub were very nice. The host was great at communication and meeting needs. Definitely a solid place for booking a getaway.

Chris was professional and the house was amazing, thank you for everything. We look forward to coming back to the “Avalon” My kids had a blast!Cape Hatteras beach access for orv was close so was the pier, the best on in my opinion. Great food and stores also close by!

This house worked out great for our group of friends. Great location, close to Oregon Inlet for fishing, short walk to beach & good restaurants. Chris was very responsive host & was quick to answer any questions! A few minor issues we encountered were resolved, or were already on hosts radar for repair. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time and the owner was very accommodating. Spacious areas, lots of amenities, didn’t need to bring half of the stuff we brought since many items already here. Easy and close walk to beach. Nice pool area and hot tub. The few minor issues we encountered upon check-in were either immediately resolved or were already on the list for their maintenance guy and parts were already on order. We were very pleased with the owner’s attentiveness to our needs.

Chris was an amazing host. The house was beautiful and since there was double red flags for the beach we made good use of the pool and hot tub. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommended this home!

Great start to OBX.

Great house for our family to start our two weeks at OBX. The beach access was easy and the beach itself provided a great waves for everyone. communication with the owner was also a plus.

Amazing Property and Location

This house was perfect for our group of friends. It has everything you could need for a beach vacation with easy access to the beach itself. The owner is responsive in communications. We can’t wait to stay again soon!

Excellent Outer Banks Getaway

Family and friends - 3 generations - had a great time. Very comfortable. Nice furnishings. Very close to beach, and well-situated for shopping, local brewery and other non-beach activities.

Great place for a long weekend!

Chris, the owner was very accommodating and great at communicating. The house is in a perfect location, with beach access right across the street. Everything else you need such as grocery stores, restaurants, bars, etc are right up the road. Would 100% stay here again

Awesome place

We had a blast. We had 6 adults and 6 kids. Plenty of room. 2 minute walk to the beach :) The place was clean. Loved that it had a pool and hot tub.

The house was exactly what we hoped for. It accommodated our family of 10 with amazing views and very close access to the beach. The host was very responsive when needed. The house came with unexpected beach amenities to enjoy for adults and children alike (boogie boards, floaties, sand toys, etc.) Overall, this wonderful experience left us excited to book again.

Great place

The house was awesome. Extremely clean, well maintained etc. this is in a great location right across the street from the beach but the private pool and hot tub are there if that’s more your speed. The hosts are really amazing, welcoming and attentive to anything we needed. I’d highly recommend this house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Nags Head. The property was spacious with large rooms and bedrooms were on a separate floor from living room and kitchen. Bottom floor was almost like its own self contained apartment minus a stove/microwave. The kids loved the close beach access and the pool. The baby gate at the top of the stairs was much needed. Good communication with the owner throughout our stay.

Chris was the best host! Everything was ready for us when we arrived after a long 9 hour drive. We battled Tropical Storm Bertha and ended up with 1 sunny day. We made the most of every minute of our trip. On the rainy days the house was equipped with books, cards and board games and we ended up having family game night every night. The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you would need for cooking those homemade meals. It was so nice to have the pool and hot tub for relaxing after a day on the beach or flying kites and searching for sea shells. Nice lounge chairs around the pool and plenty of other chairs to just sit and catch up. There is a closet on the carport full of equipment for all kinds of activities at the beach, plus a wagon to haul it all for you. The house is so roomy and makes it extremely nice for large families.Chris was quick to respond to any questions I had and helped make our first trip to OBX one we will never forget. Our hope is we get to go back and stay in this home. Such a great location and short walk to the beach!

Great location, clean house, responsive host

The location was great, super close to the beach, only like a 5 min walk. Also close to the shopping enter with a Food Lion nearby (3min drive). House was clean and neat. Both the pool and hot tub were nice and we loved going in the pool after the beach. Kitchen was well equipped. Beds and pillows were comfortable. So many bed options so it’s great for multiple families sharing. The host is very responsive and quick to address any issue we bring up, which was really helpful.

We ended up creating great memories in this house.

We really liked the location of this house. Very short walk to a public beach access point and with kids, this is huge haha. Chris was always quick to respond to any questions we had and resolved any issues along the way! Thank you very much for lending us your house and I will say the hammock chairs were a favorite of mine with coffee in the mornings out on the top deck!!!

Great Place For Families

We stayed at this property with our two adult children, their spouses, and our two grandchildren (ages 3 and 1.5). There was plenty of room for all of us, the beds and couches were very comfortable, and the kitchen had a great variety of tools, cookware and dishes. There were also games, puzzles and pool toys for all ages to enjoy. The property was clean and appeared to be well maintained. The property manager and owner were both very responsive to our questions. All together a wonderful stay.

Great location to the beach

Chris is an exceptional host. Loved the house & how close it is to the beach. Everyone enjoyed the pool. The only negatvie comment is about the cleanliness. There were still dishes that needed to be put away, sand on the kitchen floor & coffee grounds in the coffee maker. Overall, though, we had a wonderful stay and would readily recommend the property.
