Our stay at the Alamosa property was very nice. The house was very clean and comfortable and the neighborhood is very quiet as advertised. Proximity to the sand dunes and to the grocery stores was a convenience that we really enjoyed. Communication was great and check in was very easy. We enjoyed our stay in Alamosa and weâre happy we chose this property.
This is a great place to stay if youâre in the area. Itâs very spacious and clean. We visited the Sand Dunes, and this was the perfect place to unwind after a day outdoors. I would definitely stay here again.
We stayed 2 nights at this property and had a good visit! The manager forgot to provide us the code for the lock box however answered our call immediately and provided what we needed. We loved having the pool table and foosball table! We had a great time visiting the Sand Dunes and local pizza shop/brewery. The pictures advertising the property are accurate. We saw many deer during our stay which was fun. I would recommend this property and would stay again!
We really enjoyed our stay at this location in Alamosa. It was perfect for families and had a highchair as well as pack nâ play and infant swing. There were games in the closet and basic cooking utensils and even some seasonings in the kitchen. The host was extremely responsive and there was a spacious garage that you could park in to make sure your vehicle was safe and protected from the weather. The home was more spacious than expected and the temperature was cool and comfortable. Location was perfect for getting to downtown Alamosa and was nearby other local attractions such as the Hot Springs, Zapata falls, and the Manassa fairgrounds. Near the grocery store and gas station as well, which was very convenient! The home was clean and everything was exactly as expected or better! We would definitely stay here again.
This VRBO is absolutely wonderful! Spacious and comfortable, with so many amenities to make the stay feel like you are at a home away from home. There are accomodations for young children, a huge master bathroom with an amazing Jacuzzi tub, a grill in the backyard, and so much more. If you are looking to stay in the Alamosa area, this is the place for you!
Overall a great experience with the house and location. Quick access to Great Sand Dunes National Park. Downtown had some good restaurants.House had plenty of room and was nicely stocked. Our only complaint was there were a couple of areas needing some attention. Since the weather was pleasant we wanted to open a few windows. Inside each was really dirty and dusty and difficult to open. Also the fridge cleanliness left a little to be desired. Not detrimental to our stay, just something to note.
The house is clean and the hosts have thought of everything! Extra toilet paper, towels, meat thermometers, carbon monoxide detector, high chair, etc. The home is spacious. The washer and dryer had directions! 3 different kinds of coffee makers. The pool and foosball tables were a hit for our two sons. The neighborhood was very nice. Close to everything in Alamosa. We appreciated the space after being crammed into a small cabin with extended family and no laundry prior to staying here. We enjoyed the food at some local restaurants and spent a day exploring the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Zapata Falls. We watched movies together at the house and did laundry.
This home is just as described - a quiet home in a quaint neighborhood with plenty of room for the family. The host supplied for pretty much anything you could need during your stay. The kitchen while small maximized its space with all the essentials and more. The living room provided so much space to relax or have fun together as a family playing pool and foosball. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were supplied with everything needed. The host made it easy for you to check in and check out. The location was perfect for visiting our son and for seeing the beautiful surrounding area including the Great Sand Dunes National Park, Zapata Falls, and the Old Spanish Trail. This was easily one of our best experiences with a Vrbo rental.
My husband, Mark grew-up working in his family owned business, in Alamosa. Mark loves being outdoors. He has enjoyed all the mountains around the San Luis Valley. We got married in the late 80's. A few years later we started a family. We got into the rental business over 25 years ago.
We purchased this property early in 2015. As soon as we saw it, we thought it would make a great vacation home because of the location. It is a family oriented neighborhood, house is a single story, quiet, spacious home. This home is on one of the prettiest streets in Alamosa. In the Spring, the crabapple trees are in bloom. The whole street looks pink. It's just a small walk to the Rio Grande River, where there is a trail to bike, walk or run. Two blocks from Safeway and Star Buck.
