The location is perfect - it feels like you're remote in the mountains but Gatlinburg is only a short drive away. We had a minor issue while staying and management very quickly resolved it and were very friendly. Overall a great experience and would rent again.

Nice cabin, but buggy

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a very nice cabin. Secluded and quiet. 25 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. Great view from main floor balcony, but you cant see the view from the basement level hot tub. I love a hot tub with a view. Trees block the view while soaking. We had a disgusting roach problem. They sent an exterminator twice, but still saw roaches our last day. Hopefully they get this problem resolved, because it really is a nice cabin. but the bug problem was a real damper on our vacation here.

Overall a pleasant stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, great views, secluded location, clean, and beds were comfortable enough with home theater and game room. On the negative side, the coffee pot didn’t work properly, hot tub jets didn’t work on one side, grill is pretty nasty, only one steak knife in the cabin, and the shower heads need to be replaced or repaired since the water didn’t spray like they should. But all of these could easily be corrected.

Perfect Spring Break Getaway

Our stay was perfect! The cabin had gorgeous views. It was only 20-25 minutes from everything we wanted to do, which allowed us the best of both worlds. We ended up spending more time at the cabin than expected because of how perfect the porch was for relaxing and enjoying nature.

I am "old-school" where I only know to check in in person at an office, I was nervous about not meeting someone face to face and having to have a code to get in. Elk Spring staff was in regular contact via text and emails. Almost answering my questions before I asked them. Very pleasant and easy to work with. The cabin itself was truly breath taking. Very clean and better than I could have asked for. Everything worked! It was comfortable and very relaxing.

Didn't - Take My Breath Away

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First, this cabin was very roomy, immaculately clean, and located in a very quiet, secluded area. We have stayed in many Elk Springs cabins while visiting the Smokeys. However, this one did not live up to the expectations we have had with the other cabins. The outside areas were less than inviting, a dining table with only 3 chairs that has seen better days. The lower level with the hot tub had no other seating or tables, just a big empty area. We are used to amazing outdoor areas with lots of seating, porch swings, etc, to enjoy the views. At the least, a small table to place the towels.The theater room consisted of two mismatched couches and a large screen television. The directions on the wall were for a totally different setup and brands of electronics. We were sent a video link with instructions that were also for a different setup.The main floor great room again included two mismatched couches. Only one side of the reclining couch worked, and the other couch was extremely uncomfortable. This cabin has great potential. However, it needs some attention to detail. I believe Elk Springs offers many better choices in cabin rentals.

Furniture needs updated in sitting areas but beds are ok. There was plumbing issues( toilets running constantly )but they tried to fix it. Downstairs shower drain is slow so water gets up over your ankles which I felt was unsafe.

Lawn care woke us up at 8 Sunday morning weed eating at the cabin. We had enough and left a day early. The only good thing about this cabin was the view.

We will never rent from another cabin facility again! The location and views were beautiful, we had many wildlife visitors, the customer service was out of this world. While we were here we visited Dollywood, Anakeesta, and did some downtown shopping. It was a beautiful trip and we will definitely be back!

We enjoyed the quiet retreat at the end of busy days, as well as the location. We were happy it was close to the Greenbriar entrance of the park, easy access to the grocery store and other areas without having to deal with the traffic in Gatlinburg!Best sleep I've ever had at a vacation home :) The beds were so comfortable.

Nice cabin but we didn't feel like we should have to clean and all dishes were dirty. We called Elks and they didn't seem to care.

They looked almost fake, like a Bob Ross painting! Unbelievably beautiful! Everything was top notch, and we did NOT want to leave. We will definitely be staying here on future trips. The only thing we would have changed were the comforters and to have more pillows.
