There is some work that needs to be done to this property. Seal on toilet needs fixed, it leaks. Because of the leak the floor has rotted underneath the linoleum and sewage seeped up. The place is furnished nicely. Once the bathroom is taken care of we would recommend it.
This was my first experience not staying in a hotel. Iâm not sure what I was expecting, but the stay exceeded my expectations. The property was very clean; the decor, very modern. It was like a home away from home. My hotel stays are over. Thank you.
I rented this apartment for an extended period while commuting to Winston-Salem for my job. The apartment was really well appointed, the description was very accurate, and the location was super convenient. Hosts were also very communicative. I wound highly recommend this property.
Wonderfully convenient property in Ardmore, close to everything in WS. The apartments are updated, but in an older building on two main streets, so we heard the usual city noise, but it wasnât a problem. These units are well equipped to make you feel right at home.
Newly renovated with great design and comfortable furniture made this apartment feel like home. The kitchen was well appointment with brand new pots and pans. The king-size bed was super comfortable with soft linens. The apartment is on a busy street but the location was great, close to shopping, restaurants and highways. The property owners were amazing too!
My boyfriend and I just moved to Winston-Salem from across the country and stayed here while we were searching for a house! The owners made everything so easy, and the place was spotlessly clean with a beautiful kitchen and amenities like a W/D. The location is an easy drive to downtown restaurants and shopping. It was a peaceful haven for us during a very busy, stressful transition time! Much gratitude to Eric and Peggy for providing such a wonderful experience.
Building looks like your basic red brick apartment - but was a nice surprise when I entered the apartment. Owners were very easy to communicate with through website and property was as described in listing. There was a slight musty smell upon entering building but was not noticeable after a few minutes. Apartment was nicely decorated and had everything you would need for a stay. Nice tv, comfortable bed, roomy bedroom and the laundry room/closet was a nice bonus. Pots, pans, plates - plenty to do some cooking if you wish. Perfect location if you need to be at the hospital. I would definitely stay here again if I was in need of lodging in Winston Salem, NC.
Worry free lodging in a thoughtfully furnished and like-new apartment
Our stay was perfect--we enjoyed a welcoming and spacious apartment with amenities which permitted us to visit family and friends and come home to "our place" each night, knowing all that we needed was there. Although our trip was not adversely affected by it, we found wi-fi access spotty, particularly when we tried mapping our routes to various unfamiliar locations. Additionally, Cindy was surprised by a very fast and very large cockroach (over an inch long, black/brown and about 1/4 inch wide) early one morning. It ran into the bathroom ahead of her. John dispatched it. We saw no others, but feel that an "alert" to the helpful folks who have communicated with us might be appreciated. Despite its large size, it was almost able to squeeze under the baseboard in the bathroom!
Our thanks to each person who has a hand in managing the details of this place we very much enjhoyed; we will recommend to others!
