Great place. Plenty of room, comfortable beds, clean and a very well stocked kitchen! It was also in a great location. Close proximity to Mr Ranier National Park as well as other local hiking trails. Would definitely stay there again.
Amazing home in Packwood! This felt like a home away from home, we didnât want to leave! Great amenities and plenty of supplies to make a longer stay feel more comfortable. Highly recommend staying at the Hinkle Tinkle Hideaway!
This property was great! A peaceful setting but close to the Mt Rainier NP for exploring. We saw dear passing right by the window. The property is equipped with everything you might need for your stay. Communication with the host throughout has been excellent.
This was a great location - close to Packwood, and not far from the National Park. The house was clean, kitchen was well stocked with appliances, cooking utensils, dishes, etc. Very comfortable as a home base for day trips into the park.
We had a great stay at the Hinkle Tinkle Hideaway as a home base for visiting Mount Rainier! Anything you could ever need was provided in the house and the beds are super comfortable. We also had a good time playing with some of the outdoor items. We would definitely stay again.
Excellent property. Well stocked with whatever you need and very reaponsive host. Great for a weekend or longer. Lots to do at the property with lawn games, campfire, or just relaxing. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for something near Mt. Rainer or just to relax in any season.
This is such a beautiful place to stay. We travelled to Washington so that I could hike in Mt. Rainier National Park, and this house is conveniently located just minutes away from it. The home is clean, spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. The owners are very responsive and helpful. And the five acres of property in which it is located are beautiful and peaceful. I would love to stay here again. I almost enjoyed the home and acreage as much as the hiking!
Great property in a great location about an hour from most park entrances. The house was stocked with everything we needed. Dont buy spices!! Beds were very comfy after a long day of exploring. Very clean and we enjoyed the quiet location. We would stay again. Loved the hammock on the porch and the double glider bench.
Husband and I have stayed here every year for about 6 years for our anniversary. It has been 10 out of 10 every time! This is a great property with all you need for your mountain home away from home. Lovely scenery around the home and property, complete with a little creek! Excellent jump off point for many wonderful hiking trails as well!
We really loved the house! The pictures were accurate but the house looked even better when seeing it in person. It was also very spacious. Everything we needed was provided. The kitchen is very well equipped and there are plenty of towels in the bathrooms. Having shampoo, conditioner, and body wash was much appreciated as well as a hair dryer. The beds were the most comfortable ever and there were plenty of extra blankets. It was very convenient to do laundry as our stay was part of a larger trip to the National Parks. We did have a question during our stay and Kim, the owner responded promptly. We would definitely stay here again if traveling to the area. Also the house is close to the town of Packwood and near the Stevenâs Canyon entrance to Mt Rainier.
This was a fantastic place to stay for our family, for a little trip to Mount Rainier. It had everything we could possibly need. It was clean and has a very well stocked kitchen. We'll definitely stay again.
This was our second time staying at this property and still highly recommend it. We enjoyed our stays in the fall and in the summer. Great location, clean and stocked.
This property and home is stunning!!! Tons of space inside the home, kitchen is stocked with everything you need, tons of games and space for entertainment, beds are heavenly, quiet and peaceful. Everything was perfect. We absolutely loved our stay and wish we would have booked more evenings. Would definitely rebook in the future
Kitchen well equipped, large tv with plenty of seating, comfy beds, lots of hot water, covered parking. Loved the three season porch in the morning and after hiking! Close to MT Rainier National Park!
Spacious, property isnt close to anything else so its fairly quiet except for the road noise which is really not a lot. All appliances are modern and wonderful. Nothing was lacking. Surrounding scenery is super green and vibrant. Squirrels in the area, we saw 3 deer walk through the yard one evening, and even an elk. Stocked with all the pots, pans, and spices youd probably ever want. Very nice wrap around porch. 7 minutes from the town proper of Packwood. 30-40 minutes from Nisqually entrance to the park, and even less to the Stevens Canyon entrance.
We enjoyed our beautiful, very comfortable, well stocked vacation home! So close to the Steven's Canyon entrance to Mt Rainier Park, 20min drive. Town is close for grocery and restaurants. Comfy beds!!
A beautiful, roomy home right in the middle of nature. Very convenient location. House well-stocked with dishes, utensils, various food items, and more. It was wonderful. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!
This was a family trip to visit Mount Rainier. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable. If the park wasnât so magnificent, I would have spend more time on this wonderful property.
This is a wonderful vacation rental! We loved the privacy and the wooded location. We spent our days in Mount Rainier and our evenings at the house. The house was well stocked, clean and comfortable. Our mountain dreams came true.
This property is very special to our family as we all enjoy the mountains and getting outdoors. My husband John and I both grew up in Hood River, OR and wanted our kids to experience the outdoors and small town experience. Packwood has delivered all this and more. We hope you too will visit this special place and all it has to offer.
We wanted to be in the mountains and love being located so close to Mt. Rainer and White Pass Ski Resort where both of our children, and many friends and family, have learned to ski.
The first time we drove into Packwood and looked up at Mt. Rainer we fell in love. We knew within the first 5 minutes of walking our property with Hinkle Tinkle creek running through it, the beautiful view of Goat Rocks, Johnson Peak and the short proximity to Cowlitz River, Mt. Rainer and White Pass Ski Resort that we had to have it.
