Thanks Kim, please note though that we do clearly state several times in the HomeAway property listing that pool heat is a paid bookable extra. You could have also called us to ask for it to be switched on during your stay, and we do explain this in the information folder in the home. Sorry you didn't read the info provided about this as we could have helped you, but we are delighted you loved the home and resort!

Thank you, Rafael, you did not mention any towel or cleanliness issues to us when you were at the home which we do ask you to do, as otherwise we can inspect them and put them right for you. We do also personally inspect the home in detail before your arrival and we did not see any issues. Towels are hot washed and bleached after every guest. Tropical Florida is hot in the summer and 110 degrees and 90% humidity is not conducive to sleeping under comforters which is why we advise guests to sleep under the sheets provided. Vacation homes here are limited to 74/75 degrees, we allow guests to take it down to 73 degrees which is a cool, comfortable temperature. Glad everything was great for you otherwise.

Delighted you enjoyed your stay, Tomica. Just to reiterate our conversation with you at the time time of your stay, one bulb blew which we replaced for you on day 2, there was one dining chair with a damaged leg and two of the bar stools had slightly loose backs, neither issue could be fixed and as we explained to you, replacement items were on order (as with many retail items since lockdown, there are long delays) but the items were all still fit for purpose which is why they were there in the home for you to use safely. The new items have now been installed in the home and old items removed. You also commented that a couple of towels had some small make up stains - they had been bleached and hot washed but we immediately brought you a whole set of new towels to the home for the second day of your stay. We place good quality towels in the home but as you saw, they get damaged very regularly and we do not charge the guest for these replacements so the home owner is constantly replacing the towels on a weekly basis. This is why they are not high-end Egyptian cotton style towels, but good quality for the job and a fair price to be regularly replaced. I hope this helps you to understand that as a large home accommodating 10 guests at a time, wear and tear will happen but as you saw we acted quickly to resolve the small issues you reported during the stay and the other minor items were replaced immediately after your stay.

INCREDIBLE!! This review is currently under investigation by VRBO! This guest did nothing but complain within minutes for arriving and DID not want me to go to the home to look at the things. She just demanded money back, when i refused because i needed to see what she was complaining about first She got more threatening and said she would l report me to VRBO unless i gave her money back. I could tell something was up, so i went ot the home the following day to look at her issues. I could only see one issue she has which she said was a blocked sink, SHE had left the drain stopper in!! the reason she did not want me to go to the home was that she had over occupied by at least 6 people as there were mattress everywhere. When i spoke with her about this and threated her with evection and refused to pay her any money back for the false issues, this review was her retaliation!!

Not a good guest experience, the home was left in a state which we were not happy about - hence this review! Please go by the other 5 star reviews for this home and not by this disgruntled guest who did not once contact us about the 'issues' she mentions - there were two linen closets filled with towels, she had the AC on the wrong setting (we left it on the correct setting for her), the pool was clean as it is serviced weekly plus we checked it on the afternoon she arrived. The clubhouse pool is maintained very well by the community - please go by the photos and other reviews for this lovely home and not this guest who communicated poorly throughout the process.

Hi Jennifer, so pleased you had such a great stay and enjoyed the home and the beautiful resort! Yes, next door is also a vacation rental and so the over-enthusiastic singing neighbor will now be long gone!! We do make it clear on the listing and the booking info that we only provide a basic starter pack so guests know exactly what is provided before arrival. We only provide the basics so that we can keep the rental rate as low as possible for our guests and as a self-catering home, we just provide some essential starter items.
