Wendys was very clean and comfortable with good air conditioning in the bedroom. She has a beautiful garden and gave us lots of insight on where to eat and what to do in the area. The property is a 2 minute walk from Heywoods Beach which is calm and excellent for swimming. The property was spotless and check in and out was very easy. We wish we had booked here for our entire vacation! Thank you Wendy and Aileen!
My husband and I stayed here for the months of January and February. It was a very good experience, Our host Wendy was awesome! She is very friendly and engaging, yet was never intrusive. There were a couple of items we needed for the kitchen and she provided those right away. She is tirelessly working in the yard to keep it lovely. The landscape has many flowering bushes and trees with a patio outside for guests to enjoy them. She keeps a garden and allowed us to cut whatever we needed. This was very helpful because we could cut things that were not available or very pricey in the local store.(such as Kale and lettuces, and more.`) The location is fabulous. She is in a nice little neighborhood that I was able to walk in everyday (alone) for exercise. We chose not to rent a car and relied on walking or taking the bus. She is located very near the bus station and the grocery stores and restaurants in Speightstown which made it ideal for us . The police station is also located right in the same area. We walked to the beach, just across the road , pretty much every day, as it was a very short walk. There are beaches just north of her place that require just a 10-15 minute walk also. The best snorkeling we found, is just north of her place at Nikki Beach. This is just a 15 minute walk. One special afternoon, Wendy cooked a traditional Bajan meal for us and the guests in the apartment next to us. It was delicious! We were able eat together outside at a table provided for us. Overall, it was a great experience and we highly recommend her place. Thanks Wendy for helping to make our stay so memorable!

A 3 minute walk to Heywoods beach. The streets has large sidewalks for walking, riding and running. It is the last area on the platium coast where there isnt wall to wall to wall hotels. The community is in Speightstown where you can walk to all amenities: the bus terminal connecting all areas of the island; restaurants, bakeries, church, fish market, supermarket, medical clinic.
