Magnifique chalet au bord de l'eau sur les rives du pittoresque lac Elk tous sports. Ce chalet de 2200 pieds carrés a beaucoup de place pour toute la famille. Notre chalet dispose de 4 chambres et deux salles de bains personnalisées, une salle de bain dispose d'une baignoire à jets. La cuisine dispose de comptoirs en granit et est entièrement équipée. Il y a une grande salle à manger avec un bar à café. Notre maison dispose de deux salons séparés, tous deux avec de grands téléviseurs à écran plat, parfaits pour les enfants et les familles multiples.
Elk Lake est l'un des plus beaux lacs du Michigan. Apportez votre bateau ou votre jouet aquatique, ou louez-en un dans une marina proche. Elk Lake est parfait pour la baignade, le ski, les tubes, la pêche ou pour faire une promenade en bateau mémorable à travers la chaîne des lacs, remontez la pittoresque rivière Torch nagez sur le banc de sable populaire de Torch Lake, arrêtez-vous à Alden pour votre crème glacée préférée, ou Continuez sur le côté est de Torch jusqu'au Dockside pour quelque chose à manger ou à boire. Cottage est directement sur Elk Lake, sans routes à traverser. Sortez des portes coulissantes et profitez de la vie sur le lac !!

This house was fantastic! My family made terrific memories here this summer. The house was the perfect size with a great dock that we thoroughly enjoyed. The house was well stocked, clean and well cared for. The water was as clear as glass and the house was near so many cute towns and destinations. We loved it all!

First trip up north

Beautiful View!

This was our first time staying on Elk Lake. The lake and view were beautiful! House was big enough to accommodate us all and very comfortable. My grandkids loved the “toy room” and sandy area by the lake. Thanks Parker’s , for a wonderful vacation!

Beautiful views and the water is amazing!!

We had a great time. The only issue is our week went by to fast. The kitchen had everything that we needed, The table was great for the whole group to sit and eat at. Overall we had a great time and would come back in a minute.

Elk lake getaway

The house was perfect for mine and another family that stayed at the property. Kitchen was fully furnished. The outside space was great. Loved the fire pit. The water was perfect with a nice sand bottom. Highly recommended!

Independence Day celebration

A great place for our multigenerational crowd (ages 7 - 70). Wonderful swimming on the property and easy drives to other beaches. Good access to multilple golf courses for the golfers among us.Markets and restaurants close by. The kitchen is one of the most well-equipped we've seen. Lots of games and toys for everyone and plenty of room to spread out - both outside and inside.

Outstanding location

Outstanding location. Host thoughtfulness and care to details show how considerate you are and your intention to provide an enjoyable experience for your guests. Multiple coffee makers, great linens, plenty of seating, incredible views of the lake, a sandy shore, dock for outstanding sunsets and water access. The location couldn't be better for access to Elk Rapids, but private seclusion and space for our family to vacation together.

Cozy lake house in Kewadin

We loved our time in this little house! It was very well stocked with kitchen items, games and puzzles for rainy days, and the lakeside fire pit was perfect for our s’more nights. We were happy to use the available kayaks, also. Our one disappointment was with all the debris that was continually washing up at the shoreline, making swimming undesirable. Instead we spent a lot of time at the beach in Elk Rapids. But the house was clean and comfortable stars 😊

LOVELY LAKEFRONT HOME

Very comfortable and large lakefront home on Elk Lake. Attractively furnished living quarters and well-equipped kitchen. The beds are extra comfy! Although the house sits directly on a very busy road that circles the lake, traffic noise is muted on the lakeside by a long, sloping, and private yard that leads down to the water. The views are lovely. Elk Rapids is right around the corner, a thriving small community with some wonderful restaurants and a sweet little golf course. We enjoyed a week's stay here in mid-September and would love to return.

Outstanding for large groups!

Tom's property was absolutely perfect for our group of eight women gathering before our high school reunion! Everything was provided and was exactly the way it was shown on VRBO. The beds are comfortable, there were spacious areas for eating, cooking, and gathering. We especially enjoyed using the kayaks and the fire ring. The lake was gorgeous with a beautiful Sandy bottom! Pure Michigan! Tom was incredibly responsive to my many questions and requests.

Awesome house and location!

We had such a memorable vacation at this house! Super clean, tons of space, great location, and everything we could possibly need was there (kitchen items, extra bedding supplies, bathroom toiletries, outside items). Our kids (ages 9, 7, 2) had a blast with the swingset, kayaks & beach supplies. We all enjoyed the backyard and firepit. We rented a pontoon and spent an amazing day on Elk & Torch Lakes. Awesome park a block away, Wednesday evenings are a blast for all ages on River Street in Elk Rapids, grocery store super close. Everything was wonderful!!! We would love to come back!

Great location with easy access to lots of fun!

The cottage was not as clean as expected, and there were a few things not working, however the property manager was prompt and responsible in addressing any concerns. The previous tenants were harder on the property than they should have been. It’s too bad renters can’t all be responsible and respectful. We wished we had better weather during our visit, but we were undeterred and all had a fun vacation!

Good and bad

I would say that the best part about staying here would be that it is on the lake. However, we were disappointed that even though the beach and lake are very sandy, lots of black debris ended up where we were swimming so we had to rake it every day. The worst part for me was that it needed a deep cleaning. There was mold and chunks of things molding in the bottom of all the trash cans. The freezer had debris in the bottom of the drawer under the basket and the utensil drawers had debris in them. Upon arrival the dishwasher had not been emptied and there was laundry in the washer, still needing to be dried. There were many upgrades throughout. The bathrooms were really nice. We did have an issue with the plumbing and somebody had to come fix that. It was resolved. Both the stove and refrigerator need to be replaced, the oven does not work and the icemaker and the doors don’t work correctly on the refrigerator. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but we will not be returning. We got used to the building over the week, but we’re not in love with it.

I am sorry to hear that you did not have a great experience. We do our best to provide each renter with the best possible arrival and comfortable stay. I did notify you that we are in the process of purchasing a new stove as it recently broke and could not be repaired. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the refrigerator as it has French doors and there is a certain way it has to be closed. The sewer is brand new and hooked up to city sewer and we are working through some new install kinks. Unfortunately the wind and currents dictate the way the debris is washed up on shore. And I did speak to my cleaning crew to make sure they do a better job at the deep cleaning. We are sorry that you will not be returning but we wish you the best of luck at your future locations.

Yearly gathering with family!

Wonderful week on a wonderful lake! The property was an excellent location on Elk lake. There was plenty to do on the property from boating to playing games on the vast lawn! My family all agreed that this was a great find! We would definitely return!

Great place with awesome sandy bottom lake and small beach area. Nice dock. Showers work great and have good water pressure. Very clean. Oven was broken but owner let us know it was down but new one wouldn’t not be in by the time of our stay. Grill works great. Parking can be a challenge if the house next door has a large group so keep that in mind

So much fun!

The pictures do not do this property justice! It perfectly housed my in-laws, my parents, my brother, my husband and two kids! Right on elk lake with a gorgeous view. We rented a boat and took a stroll on the beautiful lake and we all really enjoyed sitting on the patio! The living room was huge and my toddler loved running all over the place. There were so many places to sit and hangout I would definitely go back!

Stunning views, great yard, Michigan weather

The weather kept us inside the majority of our stay, so we were glad that we packed lots of boardgames! The extra large dining table fit both families, and the toys/books in the bunk room kept the kids from getting too stir crazy with the rain. We cooked all our meals for the duration of our stay, and the giant pantry was useful for storing all our dry goods! When we were able to go outside, the lake access was just what we needed. Onsite kayaks were a hit, as was the fire pit and small beach area. Make sure to bring life jackets/puddle jumpers if you have lots of little ones! We had a great time, and were happy to have Tom’s cottage to stay in during the rainy early June weather.

We LOVE this property. We fell in love with the large family room where our entire family can spend time together. The lake is amazingly clean and has some of the best Caribbean blue waters in Michigan and it has one on the best views on the lake. The area has so much to offer from Wineries, Shopping, Skiing, Mackinaw Island, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and So much more. It is truly a family paradise, or a great escape away from the kids.
