We take this negative review to heart and immediately offered to send a second cleaning crew to follow up with the guest's complaint about the original cleaning crew. . Warning sign. I received an alarming call immediately from the renter around 4pm check-in. She sounded very frustrated because they did not know how to open the lockbox. Her irritated tone that the code I had given was wrong is not the typical first communication with my friendly, happy guests. I explained pull down and they were in. Hours later, at 11:30pm, I received a very negative, hurtful email. It claimed the cleaners hadn't come before. We have friends next door and I had asked them to take new pics for me between renters. They agreed the place looked great and clean and had come over as the maid was finishing vacuuming - biggest complaint was the condo was not cleaned or vacuumed. It was. I contacted my long time maid and she was very upset and said she and her helper had spent 2 hours in the unit as always. She's always been very reliable and thorough. I value her hard work. All this being said, we do rent to a lot of larger families with kids and unfortunately sometimes a child (or let's face it adult haha) will spill something. We don't keep their security deposit or file a claim, we're not looking to make their trip more expensive. This is a safe place for families. We keep our rates very reasonable for this prime location. We handle a small incident like a strain on the carpet by having the carpet shampooed or if on a mattress cover we stain treat the decorative covers, but do not replace 6 bed covers and or install new carpets between families. Everything is cleaned and sanitized. The renters were very upset by any appearance of use. I don't think our condo was fancy enough or what they had in mind and the renter was regretful on arrival. The condo was cleaned by my maid and assistant who I have valued for years. I apologized that the cleaning service did not meet her standards. I offered to send another cleaning service. The guest's replied she wasn't sure if she was staying, would go day to day and let me know if/when she decided to leave, but did not give permission for me send another cleaning company, the only way I could offer to rectify the situation. I find it unfair that after denying my attempt to honor the guest's complaint that they would turn it down and write a poor review.

Oh no, there was an extra propane tank! I wish I had known! It's a community grill so another family must've used that tank. Next time just send me a text! Hope to have you back again! Lisa
