Situé à seulement 800 mètres du centre-ville de Breckenridge et à deux pâtés de maisons d'un arrêt de navette, le Rapids Retreat est un lieu de séjour idéal pour votre prochaine escapade en montagne. Vous allez adorer les sons apaisants de Blue River traversant l’arrière-cour, ainsi que les nouveaux revêtements de sol en bois et meubles mis à jour. Il y a un barbecue au gaz sur le pont supérieur et un grand bain à remous privé dans le patio inférieur - et vos amis à quatre pattes sont également les bienvenus!

Cette belle maison de luxe de 4 chambres et 3 salles de bains est le refuge parfait pour les familles ou les groupes de 12 personnes maximum. Le salon au niveau principal dispose d'une télévision à écran LCD et d'un foyer au bois pour vous détendre après une belle journée dans les montagnes. La cuisine entièrement équipée offre tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour préparer des repas pour votre groupe. La table de la salle à manger peut accueillir huit personnes. Le pont supérieur se trouve juste à côté de la cuisine et du salon. Au niveau inférieur, vous trouverez une table de billard et une kitchenette / mini-bar séparée (réfrigérateur et évier).

L'établissement propose également une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite, un lave-linge / sèche-linge et un parking pour deux véhicules.

Suited our needs but needs some TLC

Hi! We had a pleasant stay at the property, which generally suited our needs as we skied every day at a different resort in our 4 days there. The location is great, and we particularly enjoyed walking the dog to the nearby waterfall. It’s conveniently located near the shuttle stop and just a short distance from downtown.However, there are a few updates and improvements that would enhance the experience. The master bedroom is an open loft above the living room, which might be challenging for those who prefer different sleep schedules. The hot tub was a nice feature, but we found that it took quite a while to reach a comfortable temperature, so we couldn't use it until our second night. The pool table added some fun to our stay, which we appreciated.One area for improvement is the kitchen lighting; it was quite dim with just a single light illuminating the space, and the light under the microwave was broken. A headlamp might come in handy for cooking! ;-)Additionally, we encountered some pet waste left by the previous owners that hadn't been addressed by the maintenance team, which was a bit disappointing.Overall, this property can comfortably accommodate many guests and perhaps a couple of families with its many beds. With some decor enhancements, it could be even more enjoyable.

Not kid friendly or well kept up. Location is great.

Property not kept up. Couch broken and linens had holes. Not really kid friendly. Bunk ladder was broken and fell when kids first used. Upstairs bed is very close to railing. A piece of wood with nails kept kids from going down to river. Location is the best thing about this cabin, super close to Main Street and mountain. Not bad if you don’t have kids.

Read this before you book

We have stayed in Breck for several years. The location of this property is really great and convenient to downtown and to Peak9. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with this property. The listing does not accurately describe the home. The house is exceptionally dated, and has not been updated. The listing said the house had 4 bedrooms, with one having a king bed. However, the king is in a loft over the living room With no doors for privacy. The house states that it has a fully stocked kitchen equipped for cooking, but lacked updated cooking ware, and was quite dated. The layout is strange and crowded. We are a family of 6 and there was little walk space in the living room. There were very few towels and pillows, and the towels were ragged. The garage was completely iced over. The walkway was nearly unusable due to ice. Understandably it is winter, but the property has not been managed appropriately. We lost heat and hot water on our last 2 days. The property manager was very quick to respond, and did compensate us for the inconvenience. This property needs some major upkeep before being rented any further.

Nice place!

We enjoyed ourselves very much. The layout of the home is a little weird, but it works. The river behind the home is beautiful and, I would imagine, sounds great if you can sit outside on a nice day. If it's freezing cold outside, however, it is less of a benefit. The hot tub is great! The home is dog friendly, but there isn't much yard for a dog. If you rent the house for the pool table, you will be disappointed, as it is in very rough shape, as are the pool cues. If you don't normally play, it will be fine. The property manager was great at getting back to us quickly!

Spacious Home-y Comfort

We stayed at this property over the week of Thanksgiving with our 3 adult children, 11 year old, and 3 dogs! The house had plenty of space where we didn’t feel like we were always on top of each other. The hot tub and pool table were a favorite for everyone! We liked that it wasn’t overly “fancy” because we had pets, however some may think the furniture is little run down…couch, dinning table, etc. the beds were comfortable. The reason for the 4 stars is because there were lights/plugs that didn’t work and the driveway/walkway to the door slopes down toward the house, it was extremely snowy this year so it was a difficult walk. They did have someone come out a few times to blow the snow off of the parking pad and walkways but it was so compact underneath, it didn’t help too much. Overall, we would definitely stay here again, it had a beautiful view of the river. I can imagine late spring and summer would be amazing!

Great place for a weekend in Breck

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of four stayed here for a long weekend during our kids' fall break and it worked great for us. Nice home, nothing fancy, but everything you need for a weekend in the mountains. We had a lot of fun watching movies and playing pool in the basement. Sitting in the hot tub listening to the river every night was nice too. There's a nice hiking trail you can pick up right across the street and downtown Breckenridge is less than a mile down the hill.

Family getaway

Beautiful property on the river! We enjoyed our stay and loved the board games, the hot tub and stocked kitchen. Also loved being walking distance to Main Street. We had a lovely stay with our family!

Beautiful, peaceful, serene.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Even with lot sof neighbors, the trees made us feel secluded. The hone was clean and the hot tub was incredible! There is a walking bath across the street that takes you downtown through a beautiful short walk in the woods. Easy for kids too! I would definitely stay here again.

End of summer family trip

Property is somewhat dated and worn, but had more than enough room for our family. We enjoyed playing pool in the evenings and I could have just sat on the decks listening to the river for the entire trip. Beds were comfortable.

Nice summer getaway, we had 7 adults and 2 dogs. Great pet friendly stay! Be careful with young children no slats on the stairs going up to the loft bedroom. The bunk bedroom did not have a screen on the window and was a long drop to the ground. Plenty of towels and bedding were provided. Plenty of sleeping options with a loft with 2 sleeping areas and bathroom/ shower. (Wish there was a blind on the window in the loft bedroom, the sun in the morning was bright which reflected off the mirrored sliding closet doors and was blinding.). Main level had a full kitchen, dining room and living room with a full deck overlooking a river with a gas grill. (The grill was clean and worked great!). Off the living room was a bathroom and another small bedroom with twin bunkbeds. Lower level had 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The main area had a couch and pool table and another refrigerator. There was a nice hot tub on the lower deck overlooking a river. (We did not get a chance to use the hot tub, but I did look at it and it was clean and warm.) There was a great walking trail near by and only 1/2 mile walk to town. Wish this property could accommodate at least 3 cars, but only allowed 2 vehicles. We had to park our 3rd car at the airport parking lot about 12 minutes away which allowed overnight parking. Total cost to park was $35. Overall a great place to stay.

Family get Together

We got together, our three adult children, two of their spouses for a reunion that included skiing, going out, cooking in, playing games, and hot tub. The house was perfect for all that. We had a great week!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great! Very convenient to shuttle, trails, and downtown Breckenridge. The overall cleanliness was just okay. The Master Bedroom is not private at all as it is a loft and there is no privacy whatsoever. The hot tub was really murky and dirty. The kitchen was fairly stocked however, the property says it accommodates 10 guests and there were only 9 forks total in the drawer. The property should have been shoveled better and salted especially being on a hill. It was extremely slippery and several of us fell walking into the house. The furniture needs major updates as the main living room sofa is completely broken and falling apart. There also was not enough chairs at the kitchen table to even accommodate a family of 6. There were several electrical outlets that did not work as well.

Wonderful retreat

Property management was quick to respond and very helpful about questions and proactive communication. House was clean and organized and had amenities provided that lasted us through the entire trip. Plenty of room for everyone and beds were comfy. Very enjoyable and would recommend for anyone wanting some quiet but still being close to town!

The 6 of us could have used a few more forks and cooking equipment. One of the pots was still dirty with burnt on crud. There was no snow shovel or salt and the driveway and walk way got very slippery. The Master in the loft area was a bit different but worked out ok for us.

Not quite what I expected

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, the space worked great for family of 8 people. The issues we had were cosmetic and cleanliness. The carpet is in bad need of a cleaning or just new carpet in general. The non carpeted areas left your socks black. The king bed was the only comfortable bed. All others need new mattresses. More pillows needed in beds as well. The couch and chair in living room were pretty dirty. The couch needs replacing as it is broken in the corner piece and on the end. The dryer doesNot dry efficiently. It took 4-6 hours to dry a load of towels. Bathtub on main floor does not drain well. This would be a great property to stay at if some overhauls of replacing/updating furniture and a deep cleaning of floors were done.

This was a wonderful get away for my husband and I. We plan to book this property again and have our adult children meet us. The property was very clean and comfortable. We loved using that hot tub and sitting on that deck listening to the water.

Girls trip

We liked the property. The carpet either needs cleaning or replaced, looks very worn. Same with couch in living room. Linens were good, kitchen well stocked. Parking was confusing. Curious as to why we could not park in the driveway. Overall, good stay and we had a wonderful time overlooking the River.
