Chalet au bord du lac magnifiquement rénové avec 2 chambres et grand grenier

Nestle Down Lake House est située sur Long Point, une petite communauté de voisins sympathiques et de nombreuses commodités sur le lac Champlain. La maison du lac a eu quelques mises à jour de cuisine depuis l'été dernier. Les commodités à proximité comprennent un court de tennis en terre battue, aire de jeux, panier de basket et ping-pong. Prenez nos kayaks ou paddle board pour faire un tour, ou si vous avez un bateau en remorque, utilisez la rampe de lancement juste au coin de la rue et amarrez-le sur notre quai privé. Se sentir aventureux? Explorez les sentiers de nature balisés à proximité ou marchez jusqu'à la plage de sable privée. Si vous cherchez à dîner, Long Point est juste une courte distance en voiture de nombreux restaurants locaux et points d'intérêt, Starry Night Cafe, Bistro Black Sheep, Shelburne Museum, Charlotte Winery et Fiddlehead Brewery pour n'en nommer que quelques-uns. Rester dans un repas cuisiné à la maison est facile avec la cuisine récemment rénovée, les équipements modernes et grill. Dîner sur le porche arrière surplombant le lac Champlain. Nous avons un séjour minimum de trois nuits à Nestle Down Lake House.

Family Reunion Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Nestle Down. We were there for a family reunion and had many emotional moments while there- a proposal, a memorial and lots of laughter. The cabin has a beautiful deck and we all gathered there every evening for sunset and meals. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms/showers were wonderful. We took full advantage of the paddle boards and kayak on property and had a wonderful time on the lake. We highly recommend Nestle Down if you are looking for a ‘less campy’ version of camp.

A little rocky at first but fully redeemed!

This spot on Lake Champlain was such an ideal location for friend reunion. Susan was amazing working with us to reschedule from summer of 2020 to this summer. Needless to say we were all very excited. By the afternoon of check-in I hadn't received the access info. I reached out through VRBO messaging and texting, but didn't hear anything as we were passing our 4:00 check-in time. We ended up having to call VRBO which offered to put us up in a hotel, but that would have required us to go back to Burlington. VRBO got a hold of the owner, Steve, and he called and gave us the code at 6 p.m. Relief! Susan also texted to apologize the next day and brought us incredible desserts from the Shelburne Tap House when she came to drop off water for the filtered water cooler. The trip was great but a bit stressful at the beginning. Big shout out to Susan for making it right. We would suggest having just a normal coffee maker. There was a French press and a Keurig with a few pods, but we had purchased just regular coffee through a grocery order prior to arriving. We did buy a crockpot and left it at the property for the next guests.

Amazing location in bay excellent for swimming , fishing , paddle boarding , boating. House is clean with everything you need . Family Reunion in Vermont

Lovely house in a protected cove on lake Champlain with a great dock for swimming and sun bathing. We loved the open arrangement of the kitchen, dining and living room areas as well as the deck all with great views of the lake. Our group was at times larger than capacity but there were many hotels /motels nearby to handle the overflow. The Vermont countryside is, off course, stunning, Burlington with U. of Vermont and its waterfront is nearby as is Ben and Jerry's in Waterbury. We also enjoyed visits to Middlebury, where two of us went to college and to friends in Shelburne and Vergennes. Wonderful house in a great location!

Great week despite the weather!

My family and I had a wonderful week at the cottage. It had everything we needed and was in a nice quiet spot. We spent the first part of the week soaking up the sun, kayaking and paddle boarding. The last part of the week was chilly and rainy, luckily Burlington was just a 30 minute drive away. Would definitely recommend this property!

Quiet get-away.

This home is lovely and comfortable and the views of the water are amazing. If you are looking for a relaxing and quiet get-away you will not be disappointed. I would definitely come back in the Fall to enjoy the beauty of the lake and the comforts of a lovely cottage.

Perfect Girls Weekend

My girlfriends and I rented this property to do a little staycation for the weekend and had an absolute blast. The house was adorable, clean, and had every amenity we could have possibly needed. We were greeted with a super cute note and bottle of wine which was such a thoughtful touch. We really enjoyed sitting out on the dock, using the fire pit, and cooking in the large kitchen. We all agreed that we would come back in a heartbeat!

Wonderful Stay

We had a great trip. This is an amazing property in a quiet neighborhood. Kitchen and grill allowed us to cook great meals. The deck is amazing. I wanted to use the SUP or kayak but with only two of us there I didn’t think we would be able to get it out of the water. The dock is great, but a floating one so would have been a tough out. Highly recommend Nestle Down if you are looking for a quiet place to relax and socially distance!

A beautiful rental

The house and views were amazing! Very clean with great decor. My family of six, thoroughly enjoyed everything the house had to offer, paddle boards, kayaks, fire pit, and the fishing was off the charts from the dock. Great place to stay if your looking for a lake house. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect family 9-nights at Nestle Down

We (family of 4 - kids 11 & 8) had a perfect experience at this clean & stylishly and fully equipped vacation home. The pics were nice but the in-person experience was even better. We experienced beautiful sunrises from the patio and amazing sunsets from the 2 kayaks made available to us. Quiet community & quintessential VT experience. Really cannot speak more favorably about the owners or this property.

Wonderful lake front home

We loved our stay at Nestle Down. The pictures really do not do it justice. The lake view from all parts of the house is beautiful. We loved the paddle boards and kayaks.

Wonderful Retreat on the Lake

Our family stayed for 6 days. The house is clean and comfortable with everything we needed. We spent a lot of time at the lake (great dock) and used the provided paddle boards. The views are amazing! We will definitely visit again.

Relaxing stay!

The house was perfect for our family oF four. Plenty of beds to go around, our kids bed hopped every night. The kitchen is nice and the the views from the deck were amazing. Lovely surroundings, in a very special neighborhood.

This is a nice house in a quiet community with plenty of space for one or two families. The kitchen has everything you would need, and the owners provide kayaks and paddle boards along with life vests to use on the water. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing property

We had an amazing week staying at Nestledown. Our family of 5 fit comfortably, with plenty more beds on the second floor for a larger crowd. The house is tucked in on a quiet road on the peninsula, on a truly stunning spot on the lake. The house was comfortable and clean but the best part was swimming and paddle boarding all day and then grilling on the deck at night. This house is truly special. If you're looking for a relaxing and healing spot by the water, this is the place for you. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful view, roomy and cozy at the same time.

Beautiful location, perched along and above the waters, looking out at trees changing colors in October. We were too lazy to take advantage of the kayaks but hopefully we'll come back in warmer weather sometime. The inside of the house is in the style of a cozy cabin with all wood floors and walls, but enough room to spread out. We had 6 people and it would have been comfortable with 2 or so more people. They have some games and books to keep you busy. We drove into Burlington one day and over to Shelburne Farms another day. I would definitely recommend staying at this lovely home, in any season!

Great views, great location!

Nestle Down Lake House was amazing! Beautiful views of the lake and extremely well-kept. Updated interior and even had a fire pit out back for enjoying s'mores by the water at night. Definitely would recommend this property to other families. Couldn't say more good things about our trip!
