We booked this place to stay for a Bachelor party weekend in Nashville. The VRBO was able to hold all 11 guys in our group with ease, and was very clean on arrival. It is tougher to get an uber at this location, so I would recommend scheduling ahead of time to save a 20-30 minute wait.
This is a beautiful home in a safe, lovely neighborhood with deer everywhere. We stayed here for three nights with our family of 15. Our kids fished from the dock and caught bass, catfish and perch. The checkin was easy and Kellie was very helpful with anything we needed. Nashville is an easy 30 min drive away and it was nice to go have fun in the city but have a quiet retreat to return to.
Family Trip with 12 adults. The bedrooms and beds were comfortable and spacious with more than enough beds. The kitchen was a great size for our group. The large dining table would have been great to play cards and games, but the space between the boards made it difficult (we placed a blanket over the table to help). The steps up to the main living area could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. We really appreciated the dock on the property and boat rental with Chip.
We did like the house but there are a few things that could be improved. The shower on the second floor was scalding hot and could not be adjusted, moldy smell on lower level (couldnât be down there to play pool or ping pong) back lawn was terrible for lawn games (needs better grass) ice machine did not fill the entire time we were there, and a better dock to be able to have chairs to enjoy the lake.
Perfect for large family (as long as members are not too old or too young)
Kellie was a great host. Very helpful, responsive and flexible. The property was just as described and the kitchen was well equipped to cater to a large number of people. The main dining room was the perfect setting for family meals, everyone was able to sit together. If anyone in your party has bad knees this is not the place for them! We had younger kids in our party and the spiral staircase made me nervous⊠I would only ding the property a little on the cleanliness. There were cobwebs in the lights over the kitchen island among several other places inside the house and in one of the bathrooms the water was either freezing or scalding, no in between. But really those things were relatively minor compared to how well the space accommodated our group. We had a fantastic family reunion and this was the perfect place for it.
The home was just about as advertised. The home was clean and well stocked for the weekend. The plates and cups needed a re-wash before we felt comfortable using them and the rains brought puddles near almost every top floor window, but outside of that, was very comfortable for our group. Kellie was an excellent host and was easy to communicate and coordinate with. Would consider staying here again.
The manager, Kellie, responded to all my emails in a timely manner. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to feed seventeen adults. Great mattresses - All of us are 60 or older, but we slept well on the beds. All the balconies gave us a chance to look out on the lake while drinking our morning coffee.
We chose to stay off broadway and rent a big house. This allowed us to split time relaxing and playing games at the lake and then head down to party when we wanted. Itâs about 35 minutes to the party street so a little more expensive to uber than we thought it would be but overall well worth to relax in a peaceful neighborhood. The floor plan allows for 4 couples to spread out and have plenty of space.
Kelli was a great hose and super responsive when needed. We didnât get the email for the check in details from VRBO but Kelli stepped in and helped quickly. She was also very flexible with us on check in and check out even though we didnât ask for it, it was offered, and very appreciated, allowing us more time to catch up with old friends. This is a great location in any season but we could see how the warmer weather months with access to the lake would make it even better. Reasonably quick access to downtown Nashville while still being away from the noise and lights of the city.
Right on the water yet close to downtown and all of the "honkey tonks" You can swim and fish behind the house. Game room has big screen tv, and pool table. Gas grill located on 1 of the 3 decks overlooking the lake. 3 dining areas that can seat over 20 people. Lots of parking.
