Notre maison (environ 2000 pieds carrés) est située dans une communauté fermée sécurisée à Albrightsville PA.

Il dispose de 3 chambres, 2 salles de bains, grande cuisine avec bar de la cuisine ouverte vers la salle à manger, belle salle de séjour et salle de jeux. Toutes les chambres ont des lits queen et un grand placard. Dans la chambre principale, il y a un lit gigogne supplémentaire qui peut être utilisé comme lit double ou après l'avoir prolongé - il devient un lit de taille normale. 2ème chambre a également un lit pliant double taille supplémentaire. Salle de bain à l'étage principal a une baignoire, donc vous pouvez prendre un long bain après une journée passionnante. Il a également une salle de vanité séparée avec évier supplémentaire.

Il y a aussi une allée en demi-cercle (style U) pour jusqu'à 4 voitures.

Dans notre grande cuisine moderne, vous trouverez tous les appareils nécessaires: grand réfrigérateur, cuisinière électrique avec four, lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, 2 cafetières, une pour café moulu et une deuxième pour les dosettes Tassimo, grille-pain et bouilloire. Vous trouverez divers pots et casseroles, tasses, assiettes et ustensiles. Vous pouvez prendre une collation rapide au bar de la cuisine, ou vous pouvez choisir de prendre votre repas dans la salle à manger de notre salon par une grande table à manger.
Dans un salon il y a un canapé-lit d'angle (lit complet disponible après l'ouverture) et double inclinable, 52 "Smart TV, (Netflix et Hulu disponibles), Blue Ray Player et Internet wifi.

En bas, au niveau inférieur, vous trouverez une grande salle de jeux où vous pourrez vous détendre après une journée active au bar, jouer au billard, jouer au baby-foot ou aux fléchettes ou tout simplement vous asseoir et vous détendre tout en regardant un film sur notre écran mural.
Sur le levier inférieur, il y a aussi une 2e salle de bains avec douche et une buanderie avec laveuse et sécheuse à la disposition de nos clients.

La porte coulissante de la salle de jeux s'ouvre sur notre spacieuse véranda et arrière-cour. Il y a barbecue barbecue à gaz (pas de charbon de bois nécessaire) à utiliser sur le porche et une grande table à manger pour les repas à l'extérieur. Vous pourrez également vous détendre dans notre bain à remous toute l'année ou profiter de la piscine l'été dans notre piscine privée située dans l'arrière-cour (notre piscine est chauffée par le soleil et non par un chauffage électrique). Il y a aussi un foyer pour profiter du feu de camp en soirée.

Les enfants apprécieront certainement notre balançoire monsterweb et notre aire de jeu en bois avec toboggan, balançoire et clubhousehouse parmi d'autres attractions, tandis que les parents pourront se détendre sur un porche en osier serti de boissons froides.

La communauté où la maison est située a un club-house, cinq lacs, deux piscines extérieures et aussi une piscine pour enfants (ouverte à partir de la fin juin). Il y a également des courts de tennis et des terrains de basket-ball (tous les équipements collectifs sont disponibles avec des laissez-passer invités. Nous avons 10 laissez-passer de ce genre autorisés par la communauté).

La maison est située à proximité de nombreuses attractions parmi lesquelles vous trouverez Camelback station de ski (30 minutes en voiture), parc aquatique Camelbeach (30 minutes en voiture), Pocono Raceway (10 minutes en voiture), Les points de vente Premium Corssings (25 minutes) , Supermarché Shoprite et Walmart (15 minutes en voiture) de sorte que vous pouvez facilement acheter tout ce dont vous avez besoin une fois que vous arrivez. Pour la plupart des articles de tous les jours, il y a Dollar General situé à 10 minutes en voiture de notre maison ainsi que la pharmacie CVS si nécessaire.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was nice and warm and we had amazing weather for the kids in the pool. The house was awesomely clean. It was a perfect getaway for us.

My family had such an amazing time! The property was everything listed and more! It was so clean, well kept and have you such a feeling of home! They were nice enough to accommodate my check out time and it was greatly appreciated! My daughters loved the swings and the plays caps! We’d definitely stay again!

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and had great time. Regarding the beds, we have each of them with various level of mattress hardness-from the most firm to the softest to accommodate different needs of our guests. As for the sheets, we regret you haven't had asked us about these as we have flat sheets available upon earlier request (our standard bedding sets are fitted sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases) . Your group was fantastic and I recommend every future host not to hesitate but have you as their guests, you are also more than welcome to visit us again.

5 year olds birthday getaway

My god daughter was turning 5 years old and we wanted to take her somewhere to celebrate but she has health conditions and covid is still around so we didnt want to do a water park so we opted for a house with a pool. This house was perfect and she loved everything from the pool to swings and and play ground in the back and the air hockey table. The owners were amazing i will be renting again in the near future.

Family getaway

Communication was great. This property is in a gated community which is great. We enjoyed the outdoor area and even saw a few deer which came really close. Kitchen was great. Property has Central Air throughout and a mini split in the living room area. The only negative is that the age is showing in the bathrooms and they should be updated and the pool would definitely benefit from a heater. There was a storm on our day of arrival and the property owner had the pool cleaned again to remove some leaves. Overall a pleasant stay.

Great summer escape!

Stayed in Abrightsville at Anna & Tom's place for a month in summer 2020 and had a great time. The house interior is simple, but nice, with a reasonably well-equipped kitchen. What shines is the backyard, with hot tub (even great on cool summer nights) and pool (though it is pretty cold, save for in midday!), and great space for kids to run around in. Neighborhood amenities are also a big plus, though neighborhood security is...a bit overkill, and there were at times long weights (10m+) to enter the community, As hosts, Anna & Tom were very responsive. Great and easy place to stay.

Great Get Away From the City

Due to the Covid-19 health crisis, my family and I needed a change of scenery. This home was perfect for us. It was a quiet location and close to all places that we needed (gas station, market, park, restaurants, etc). My kids loved the backyard, and we enjoyed sitting on the deck watching them play while we took in the relaxing view of the deer, nature and having a BBQ. The lower level of the house (game room) was great to have fun with the family as well. We had some great laughs every night. The house was clean and easy to find. The owners were very responsive to my emails and texts. I want to personally thank Anna and Tomeo for sharing their home with us. It was a wonderful family vacation!

Average accommodations for Disney prices

Property is just average; nothing impressive, nothing too horrible either. Please don't be fooled by the "gated community" phrase in the description. It was nothing what comes to mind when you hear about "gated community" . There were many below average houses, narrow roads, average yards, average everything.... Main complains - house itself could use some deep cleaning, and there was nowhere near enough towels, the ones provided are not what you can call a bath size towel. Also, there listing suggested some amenities, but no information was provided what they are and where to find them. On the plus side - you are in vary quiet neighborhood, and very close to nature. Kids enjoyed watching deer and wild turkeys when they come to visit back yard.

Regarding the gated community-please note it means you cannot enter it without being on the guest or renters list. It is secured with gated entrances and 24/7 security patrol so the residents and guests feel safe. It is not described as rental only tourist community. It covers over 4500 acres across two counties having more than 3200 single family residential buildings with famies of various financial situations. We do not judge them by their house appearances-many great, hardworking people live here permanently who have difficult situations yet are ready to help in any way they can. The private inside community roads are narrower than regular roads so they dont take up too much of land lots and to prevent driving too fast (25mph is the limit here) as well as to prevent accidents with wildlife (deer cross roads very often). All the amenities are mentioned in our vrbo listing description, there's a map of community in our house and if guests need any more information on it we are call/txt/email away-all guests need is to ask if they need further assistance. The house is cleaned toroughly and desinfected after each rental and we check it before next guests arrive. If guests have any questions or concerns about it all they need to do is contact us after they arrive. Our bath towels are a standard bath towel size-46 by 25 inch and we always provide as many towels as the guest count. There is a washer and dryer available for guests as well as washing liquid provided. Again-we emphasize-many misunderstandings can be easily avoided by reaching us with any questions or concerns the guests may have.

Unmet expectations

This was a post pandemic family trip which we looked forward to our children spending time together with various activities, which included utilizing the pool. Unfortunately, we were not able to use the pool because it was very cloudy and dirty. At one point we were so excited to grill chicken and when we went to go use the grill it just kept shutting off on us. However, we did contact the host who gave us directions on how to use the grill which we followed step-by-step but the grill only stayed worked for one night. The playground kitchen set was extremely dirty to the point the children could not play with it. We were so disappointed about that.The only outdoor activity that we were able to utilize was the Jacuzzi. Kitchen supplies were not adequately stocked. We ran out of napkins and some of the kitchen utensils were rusted. One thing that really concerned us was the windows being nailed shut which is a safety hazard. On the second night, we also found a roach on the couch as well as the bathroom. Overall, to make a better experience we highly recommend newer furniture as the furniture was falling apart and an exterminator for the pest control. Other than those things, we were still able to make the best time of our stay. The kitchen was extremely beautiful and the house was very clean. The kids absolutely and the adults enjoyed the downstairs entertainment room very much. The host was very responsive in a timely manner and we appreciate that a lot.

We are glad when our guests have great time and would like to address the comments made, especially that we were not contacted about any of the problems mentioned except for the grill, therefore we are not able to verify any of them after guests' checkout. For the grill,a follow up email was sent next day to recheck if ok- no further comments were given that anything was not right. The pool-we wish we had been contacted about any problems with water,our cleaning crew vacuums and treats pool after each stay, also, the pool leaf skimmer is available to use in case wind or rain causes leaves or insecrs to go into the water. Both pool and playroom set with kitchen is located outside and is simply affected by atmospheric factors-rain and winds cause falling leaves, puddles and sand dust settling. For stays up to 4 days we always leave starters of paper towels- 2 extra plus the 3rd left on the counter and 2 extra bath tissues in each of 2 bathrooms plus the ones hung by toilets already-6 rolls in total. We also have available the list of all nearby stores, with Dollar General the closest-10 min. drive in case guests run out of anything they need. Kitchen utensils sets were replaced at the begining if June of this year-at the begining of the season. Often that past guests leave some pieces of the ones they brought with them for their stay and it is easy to verify by us we only need to be contacted in order to do so. Windows are one of the points of our informational email we send to guests before their arrival, therefore it is important to review our emails -as windows are located low-easy to reach by small children, the bottom parts are blocked for their safety-so they cannot open them by themselves. The upper parts are fully functional plus we have 2 emergency doors-one on each side of the house. Poconos like any woodland area is abundant in insects-mainly during summer-many of them,especially various beetles and even fireflies can easily be mistaken for other insects. They are attracted by house lights and they enter via open doors or windows. The house is being sprayed every 2 weeks to repel them but the nature is stronger than we think. Guests, as per rental agreement,once arrive have 24 hrs to report damages they might notice to furniture, appliances erc. so these are not taken into their account. We can help- the key factor is-we have to be contacted and notified about any problems first to be able to do that. Wishing everyone great rest of the summer.

Excellent home for a family retreat

The Home was great to stay at for the 8 of us. Many fun activities to do with a packed games room and a backyard. Perfect getaway location with most things accessible within a 10-15 min drive. Anna (the host) was very responsive and helped us with any queries we had promptly!

Perfect for families!

We had a great time at this home. The house looks exactly like it does in the pictures. We played badminton, the kids played on the swing set, and let's not forget the big pool and hot tub on the beautiful deck. The game room was a wonderful fun way to end our nights. The community is very conveniently located near all activities such as fishing, pools, lakes, outlet stores and restaurants. The house was very clean and has everything you need. Our host, Anna, was also very helpful since the beginning; available at all times whenever I had any questions. It is a beautiful home to relax, reconnect with natural and have some fun with the family. I would highly recommend this home to everyone!

It’s was a very nice place to stay with family and friends. My family and I enjoyed the place so much we wished to stay longer. It was a nice little getaway from our town.

"A Fantastic Birthday Weekend"

Our family stayed at the property for my husbands birthday and it was such a wonderful experience. Anna and Tomeo were fabulous host and made the process simple and easy. From start to finish they made sure we were comfortable and the house had the most home-like feel we didn't want it to end. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a cozy, relaxing mountain getaway. Thanks again Anna and Tomeo for making our stay a "weekend to remember" :)

A Much Needed Weekend

My friends and I had spent the past Thanksgiving weekend at Anna & Tomeo's beautiful property. The house felt clean and cozy. There was a binder by the kitchen that told us everything we needed to know during our stay. The kitchen was also beautiful- we had brought some of our own supplies since we felt like we were going to cook and bake a lot, but the kitchen was well equipped. Location is a close drive to Jack Frost Big Boulder if you're interested in skiing or snowboarding. The mountains weren't open during our stay but we were kept occupied and spent most of our time in the playroom- shooting pool, throwing darts, and playing some music. We had brought our own Nintendo Switch as well and it was great to play it along the projector. The hot tub was relaxing, especially out in the cold weather. There was also a family of deer that came by for a visit which was a surprising touch- they came very close! All in all, would love to come back here again. Wish the weekend was longer. Thank you Anna & Tomeo!

Nice break from busy NOVA

We had a great time. The good - very clean, easy access, the fire pit and hot tub was great. Enjoyed seeing the deer all the time! The minuses - the beds are very hard, the pool wasn’t easy to use, need better pillows. There is many things to do in the community, (lake, walking trails, etc.) which we were given passes but no information on how to use it. We couldn’t figure out the TV in the living room. Overall, great stay and the owners were very easy to rent from.

Wonderful stay!

This place was a wonderful get away for our whole family of 6 adults and 3 toddlers/infants. Anna & Tomeo was place was clean and cozy. We grlled, relaxed in the hot tub and pool ( although we wish it was a bit warmer when we were there). Our girls had a fun time running around and playing on the slides/swings. Also, we had plenty of deer sightings in the backyard, which was fun for the whole family. Overall, we were happy to have stayed at this place. We'll definitely go back again. Thanks Anna & Tomeo!

Even better than the pictures!

This place was everything! Clean, accommodating, comfortable, plenty to do for kids and grown ups. We stayed for a weekend. When we were packing up, I said “I want to come back here but for a full week so we can REALLY get to fully appreciate it!” The owners responded quickly to any questions and made our daughter’s birthday perfect!!!!

Love this Place

This place is everything and more. My friends and I loved it. It was peaceful and quiet. I would recommend anyone to stay here. The hot tub was wonderful and the grill was easy to use. It was great.
