This is the perfect little cabin in the perfect location. It was clean and functional. The shower is not well suited for large people but otherwise a great rental. Awesome host!!
This is a gem of a cozy get away cottage in Ludington! Literally just steps from the beach, and was a perfect location for family members who were needing a location to rest between the fun outdoor events planned in Ludington each day of our stay. I hope to return in the future and will recommend this location to friends!
Good clean cottage, it was very close to the beach and close to town. Good communication from the host Jeff. I had parking questions and the host Jeff reached out right away and was very helpful. I would highly recommend this resort in Ludington Michigan, reasonable price and perfect location For a peaceful getaway in on Lake Michigan
We stayed in the efficiency unit of this set of cottages. They were built in the 1930s and have a lot of charm. There is a large courtyard with picnic tables and grills for sharing larger meals, but also we walked to most of the local restaurants.
This cottage was adorable and perfect for our quick trip for the Ludington Gusmacker. Location is perfect! It's walking distance to the beach and downtown. Very clean and comfortable. Jeff was kind and easy to work with. I would highly recommend.
Cute and clean, the cottage was just as advertised. It was just right for my sister and I to spend time together and at the beach. We easily walked to the beach from the cottage as it was just 1/2 block away. Jeff is a terrific host. Plan to rent there again in the future.
AMAZING location near beautiful Stearns Beach and the State Park. Quaint & clean cottage with all the necessities and amnenities that suited our needs perfectly. We even enjoyed an afternoon on the main deck area grilling out. Best of all was communication with Jeff. He was very quick with responses to our questions regarding parking and SUPER helpful with an accidental lock-out. Lovely gentleman even stopped by to check on us!! We cant wait to come back next summer with additional family members. Thank you!
Jeff was great to work with and very responsive. The cottage is a building and offers shelter from rain. Thankfully the roof didn't leak. It is a great location, being very close to Stearns Beach and a short walk away from Ludington Center.
The cottage itself needed a bit of work and lots of cleaning. The cottage felt dirty and was indeed dirty. There were spider webs in nearly every corner. There is no AC. You can have the windows open, but everyone that walks by can easily see in. The light outside of the cottage did not work, getting back after dark was not pleasant unless you have a flashlight. I guess a positive with this is it keeps the bugs down. The bed sheets had long pieces of hair entangled in them. Ewww...
The bathroom is tiny. I am by no means large. I'm 5'8, large boned, and physically fit. I had great difficulty turning or moving in the shower and constantly hit the wall or curtain, ikky. The shower head is angled so it hits the wall. You cannot adjust this. It has great pressure, but is pointless. Due to the angle, the water doesn't hit anything except your head (if you're tall enough). A KOA campground shower was more pleasant than this one. There is no microwave in this unit, but there is a hot plate and pan for warming food.
I would not stay here again nor recommend it. It is overpriced for the quality of space. You may not beat the location for this price, but you can definitely find better quality for the same rate within a few blocks.
First of all the property is 1/2 block or across the street from the beach. The cottage is small, but very clean and has everything you need. Bring your bikes to explore the amazing neighborhood and downtown, otherwise you can walk or drive to where you need to go. This is the absolute best place to vacation!
This little bungalow is nestled in with about a dozen tiny houses/duplexes, some a little large and some very small. One block walk to the Stearns Park Beach which is right ON Lake Michigan in downtown Ludington. Clean and neat, although very 'rustic' and not fancy at all, but with all the amenities. Appreciated having dish soap, small bar soaps, plenty of towels.
This cottage has a very comfortable double bed and a pull out daybed. A small table with two chairs to eat at. A small kitchen with a induction hot plate for cooking and a microwave. It does have a fireplace although we did not try it as it was in the summer. The shower is small for me but is very adequate. We enjoyed our stay. The beach is literally one block away and is beautiful. We may stay again.
The cottage is small, but it was expected and listed as such in the description. The property owner was so helpful with adding days on for my family and I. So close to the beach and super cute area! My mom, and sister's family also stayed in the cottage community and we liked being close, but not staying together! My son lost one of his pacifiers in the cottage, I'm sure he threw it behind the bed. Whoops! The only downfall is the size of the fridge, even though we knew ahead of time it was a little too small to stay 5 nights, but we managed!
Me and 3 men fished the Ludington and Whitehall area. This was a great spot to rest our heads for a few nights, a bit small but honestly met all of our needs. Great location! I will be absolutely be bringing my wife n kids back to the area.
