This little apartment was perfect for me and my dog. Lovely neighborhood for walking the pup. The kitchen had everything I needed, the bed was very comfy, and the Roku TV was great for relaxing evenings. Close to the wonderful Manito Park and an easy drive to shopping and downtown. Several restaurants within walking distance, too. I will definitely stay there when Iâm in Spokane.
The original location already had people staying in it.We finally contacted the owner. We were directed to an alternate place but we found out that did not have any running water.
Cute little place, perfect for my work trip and allows pets which is always a plus! Great location in a beautiful neighborhood near restaraunts and close to everything. Only thing I would say is there was an interesting smell, and th bathroom had some black almost mold looking all over the ceiling. But nothing I couldnât take care of and manage. I would stay again.
Great space, great bed, great kitchen, great TV, dog friendly, great access to Manito!
The neighbors are a bummer, just unpleasant and the yard is a mess (aka don't clean up after their dog......).
The bells tolling from the Gothic Cathedral across the street are a plus.
All that said, I'll keep coming back. Super easy and comfortable:)
This was ok for what we needed.
The unit needs a lot of TLC. A few things: we couldnât check in until an hour and a half after the check in time. Not at the fault of the cleaner - apparently the couple before was pretty messy. The cleaner was super sweet and friendly. I give the blame to the owners on this though. This is your business, you should have better communication regarding check in. They didnât respond to the message I sent asking about check in either.
About the house: everything is outdated. I wouldnât recommend staying here if it will be 90 degrees plus. The A/C is just a small unit inside the main bedroom.
The neighbor was also not friendly at all. She saw two brown adults get out of the car at 11pm coming from a wedding and told us we didnât belong there. Warning to my fellow POC!
My friend and i with my old man dog had a great time! It was welcoming and very cute inside. Considering it was 108 degrees the week we decided to stay here it was pleasant! I really don't have any complaints. The neighbors were quiet and friendly and learning about the history of the house is quite amazing! The neighborhood was better than expected and the park just a hop, skip, and a jump away was very beautiful. We will dinette come back and stay.
Trip started out awesome. First night was great and then the second night fell apart. The people staying in the other unit above us decided to party until 5 am. Not that I'm not for a good time but my poor rating is that you can hear absolutely everything. The house is old and therefore sound travels through the walls and ceiling. Just people can be heard walking let alone partying. Also the door to the other unit is on the wall for where the bed is in the unit we stayed. So every time someone comes or goes it unavoidably loud. I reached out a few times during the night via text to the owner, not really knowing what he could or would do really but what really made the experience worse was the response. "Hello. I'm sorry there were some inconsiderate guests last night. Small consolation is they will be checking out today" and that was it. Well we also were checking out that day and won't ever stay again. So if your younger and wanna party I'd say this might be the place. If you're in town for a tournament and want rest in between games and days then you are reliant on the other guests.
Priced accordingly, small apartment with bare necessities: no dishwasher, loud upper floor stairway located next to our bedroom, small parking space, limited TV channels, home located behind a small strip mall.
Enjoyed stay. Was hear for my 1 yr heart transplant annual review. Close to park, close to hospital. It was cozy. Only thing I would have to recommend, couple more dish towels especially for a 4 night stay hand washing dishes. Blankets, blankets would have been nice. Sheets great, bedspread great, but not extra blanket. The one there we used for grandson on twin. Definitely would stay again.
Excellent little apartment! Lots of room, everything we needed and quiet too. The bed was nice and firm lots of choices for television entertainment, books, and cool Spokane decor! Just a couple blocks from Manito Park and absolutely gorgeous neighborhood.
This isn't that much more than getting a motel, so I loved the bang for buck aspect.
When we first entered it smelled strongly of cleaner/bleach which was masking a mildewy type smell that soaked into all of our clothes and baby blankets. I had to launder everything after leaving to get rid of it.
I enjoyed using the kitchen but was so disappointed that the sheet pan provided wouldn't fit in the oven. I had to put it in at a 45-degree angle and then use towels to pull it out because there was no hot pad?
Overall a decent stay, I just think a few things could be addressed to make it more pleasant. Would still reccomend to others.
For an old building it was a great little apartment. Only things missing were dish towels and clothes. The bed was huge, but a little close to the ground for my 6 foot 8 inch husband, but we managed just fine. Loved that it was so close to Manito Park, which is my favorite park that I have ever been in. It was close to my grandkids and we loved that!
Peter Purchased this property in 2002 and lived in one of the apartments and rented out the others, slowly restoring all the property.
In 2013 Peter married Sarah and the next year they had their first baby, Piper and quickly were outgrowing their place. With baby #2, Riley, they have moved out of their place and are now happy to have it as a place for guests to stay.
This is a great neighborhood to be in and a very comfortable apartment. You will be in walking distance of great food and amenities, as well as wonderful historic neighborhoods and parks.
just a 2 minutes drive from downtown, and 15 minutes to the airport.
