Nous sommes ravis de vous offrir cette magnifique maison récemment rénovée
chalet au bord du lac avec les droits du lac et vue sur le lac Oneida! Nous avons fait tout
effort pour permettre à tous les visiteurs de se sentir complètement chez eux! Le handicap
maison accessible est à quelques pas d'une plage de sable fin (une rareté sur Oneida
Lake), magnifiques couchers de soleil sur l'eau, et est dans un cadre calme - tous à l'intérieur
10 minutes de Turning Stone Casino, Sylvan Beach, le Boxing Hall of Fame et
la ville de Canastota (épicerie, magasins et restaurants). Notre propriété est
récemment rénové et dispose de toutes les commodités. Ce chalet lumineux de deux chambres avec
un plan d'étage ouvert a une cuisine spacieuse, salle à manger et salon, 1 & frac12; thermes,
et un porche fermé. Il bénéficie d'un accès facile (120 pieds) à une plage de sable fin,
idéal pour nager, bronzer et profiter de magnifiques couchers de soleil tous les soirs. Là
est une augmentation très progressive de la profondeur de l'eau du rivage, et le fond
du lac est doux et sablonneux, ce qui rend les conditions de baignade incroyablement sûres et
optimal pour les enfants et les animaux. La terrasse en bois et le patio en béton derrière le
maison sont idéales pour les feux de camp autour du foyer, ce qui en fait une soirée décontractée de
amusant après une journée au soleil.

This property offered everything to make our stay perfect! The hosts are amazing! The cottage has everything that is needed.The amenities for the water made our experience over the top. The shallow water and sandy beach along with the use of kayaks and paddle boards were perfect for my grandchildren (ages 4 and 6.5). We visted Fort Ricky Game Farm, Verona Beach State Park (excellent place to ride scooters) and Sylvan Beach Amusement Park when we weren't in the lake. A fire every night was the perfect ending to our wonderful days. My family and I would definitely recommend this property!

We loved this cottage!

We were very comfortable in this well-equipped, quiet cottage with its nice beach decor. Plenty of storage room, good kitchen. Just steps from the lake with its sand beach and shallow water near the shore, perfect for kids. Easy access to Sylvan Beach and Town of Canastota. Hosts Chris and Jordana are terrific!

Convenient location allowing us to visit friends, family, and cemetary. Great location near Verona Beach State Park for hiking long well-kept trails. Enjoyed firepit and outdoor seating. Very considerate landord--excellent communication.

This is a cute, nicely decorated, bright and spacious seasoned cottage. It could use a tiny bit more tlc such as a more comfy mattress and maybe some air-fresheners! The owners are super nice and very accommodating! I would stay here again!

Perfect annual stay family

We have 3 kids and a dog and this cottage is perfect. The lake is very clean and sand bottomed in this area. We have been coming back for 3 years now, and the owners are close by, lovely, friendly people and super helpful for anything you may need. Can’t recommend enough. And sunsets are consistently gorgeous!

amazing time

This was our second time renting the house. The house was clean and very comfortable. The host were beyond amazing every step of the way. Easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this location. We can't wait to come back and stay again next year.

Great place to stay!

Everything was perfect. The cottage was comfortable and fit our ever need. We spent a few days in the lake kayaking and swimming. In the evenings spent time sitting around a fire with a few friends.It was in a great location and extremely quiet. Chris and Jordana are such great host! We will for sure be back next year.

Perfect location!

We had a wonderful time at the cottage with our infant and dog. The property was very well maintained and comfortable. It was locatated the perfect distance from a variety of fun things to do. Everything located within 20 minutes from the house! The neighborhood and beach were peaceful and the sunsets over the lake really elevated the experience. Chris and his wife were incredibly kind and helpful - the best hosts!! I definitely recommend!

Great place to stay!!!!

This was one of the best places we have stayed. Very clean place and well equipped with linens, towels and kitchen items. Chris was not able to be there, but the cottage was unlocked and ready for us to start our vacation. Very quiet area and lots of places to walk our dogs. The lake area was beautiful. The sandy beach was well taken care of and we dropped our kayaks right on the beach and went out on the lake several times. Sunsets were gorgeous!

Oneida Lake Cottage

My wife and I rented this cottage to be near family who rented a larger cottage within walking distance. The Brown's, owners of the unit we rented, were very hospitable and helped us navigate our way through catering a large family outing on the last night we were there. The weather was beautiful the entire week with temps in the mid 80' to 90 degrees everyday and nighttime temps in the high 50's with no need for air conditioning. The cottage is well equipped and perfect for a couple or family with small kids. Oneida Lake is beautiful with a sandy bottom and very shallow water allowing us to walk out at least 100' before it is over our heads. The warm weather coupled with shallow water made for great swimming, and we all spent 2 hours or more in the water each day; this was a mostly adult family outing. Although I did not catch any fish on my two extended tries during the week, a family member did land a 3 lb. bass on the last day. Our family get together takes place every two years in Upstate New York and the next time we will definitely be looking at Oneida Lake again and hopefully staying at this cottage. Phil M.

A pleasant stay

We just returned from a 8 day stay at the lake. The cottage is maybe 300 feet from the lake with lake views from the Livingroom and the back patio. The owners live across the street and could not be more friendly and there to help with any questions. The sandy beach is easy access and you can walk into the water for atleast 300 yards and it is still waste deep.They offer internet so I worked half the time and vacationed the other half. They have cable TV in the living room and the master bedroom along with games that would keep you occupied during a rainy day.A propane gas grill was available to sit outside and cook on the patio. Also has a washer and dryer available in the cottage so you need to pack half the amount of clothes you would normaly bring.The surrounding area has plenty of resturants and activities to attend to. Vernon Downs is 15 miles away along with Turning Stone Casino if the weather is bad take a ride . Who knows it may turn out that your vacation will be free. I would suggest that you consider renting this location for sure if you are heading to Oneida Lake.I will surely doing the same .

A pleasant surprise

A first visit to a new region or location always comes with some worry. Our stay was much more than we expected. The condition of the interior was clean, well-maintained with evidence of repairs and improvements, and filled with quality furniture and appliances. The kitchen had a full refrigerator, 4-round stovetop, and oven. It was stocked with enough pots, pans, utensils, dish ware, and extras to provide full, complete, and quality meals for our family over our two weeks. There was also a new (large) washer/dryer combo for washing whenever needed. The dining area was large, and had a long table for seating 8-10, or for crafts and board games during the few rain showers we had. The master bedroom was large with closet space and a new dresser for clothing. It also included a flat-screen television for watching movies or sports when the main television was being used in the living area. The second bedroom was small, but functional and adequate for sleeping two adults on two twin beds. The full bath had a shower and sink for basic hygiene. The half-bath off the living room was a welcome addition to relieve congestion for a family. The living room was large and open and included two full couches for lounging in the evening or napping in the afternoon. One of the couches pulled out into a double bed for extra guests. The breeze from the lake cooled and moved through the living room to keep all cool and comfortable. The beach was close, clean, and perfect for small children as the natural sand beach is still shallow (less than 3-feet deep) close to 100-feet from shore. The sunsets were spectacular to watch in almost complete privacy. The landlords were always close by to make sure we had everything we needed, and took care of the few small repairs we needed immediately (literally, immediately!). For the price, this is a great bargain. It is not the Hilton, but it is perfect for guests who want a comfortable, cozy place for a quiet, private week away from the stresses of the real world.

Comfortable, Not Fancy

This is an older cottage with some updates, cable TV, lake access, washer/dryer, decent kitchen, 6 seat table, enclosed porch, deck, grill, off street paved parking, nice linens, dog friendly, and few neighbors in September. The cottage is on concrete piers and slopes to one side. There is a gas furnace but no gas. (Turns out there are 2 small electric heaters which do a great job but they weren't mentioned in the "welcome book.") The second bedroom is tiny and without even a shelf for storage. I would have preferred room darkening bedroom curtains as we went to relax and sleep late. Because it was after Labor Day, the week days were VERY quiet but the nearby campground was busy, loud and smoky on the weekend. Overall it was a nice experience, a chance to visit family and a cemetery and a mostly quiet relaxing week.

Nice cottage

This was our second year staying here. We really enjoyed it. Very clean older cottage. Nice beach with access for renters. Convenient outdoor shower. Hosts are great. One item to note is that the full bath is only accessable though one of the bedrooms but there is a half bath off the living room.

Oneida Get-Away

This is a very clean property with lake views and easy lake access. Cottage is well maintained and was comfortable for our family of 3 adults. Owner has house across from cottage which allows for beautiful lake access. Would definitely stay here again when we return. Its also a very quiet neighborhood considering a small campground not far from property. It's a great Lake Oneida vacation cottage!
