Osage Schoolhouse: Rénové, 23 couchages, spacieux et confortable

Entièrement rénové en 2015, cette ancienne maison d'école est le lieu de rassemblement parfait pour les grands groupes d'amis, en famille, ou collègues de travail. Il a beaucoup d'espace pour les jeux de table, de l'artisanat, la visualisation des cartes des sentiers, et la planification de votre prochaine entreprise. Profitez de la télévision grand écran et une connexion Wi-Fi ou profiter des nombreuses options de loisirs de plein air dans la région. Osage Schoolhouse a beaucoup d'espace pour manger, dormir et jouer!

Lit et bain ...... 5 chambres et 2 salles de superposés, 16 lits dorment 23, plus de place pour les lits d'enfant portatifs, avec 3 salles de bains et 2 salles de bains et demie. Draps et serviettes sont fournis ainsi qu'une laveuse et sécheuse.

SALLE A MANGER & CUISINE ...... La salle à manger de 32 à quatre grandes tables et un comptoir de hauteur de la barre. Des sièges supplémentaires pour 8 dans la chambre voisine. La cuisine est conçue pour les grands groupes et comprend deux réfrigérateurs, deux fours, un poêle à cinq brûleurs, avec des tonnes de casseroles / plats et d'espace pour travailler. Il ya un troisième réfrigérateur sur le niveau inférieur et un barbecue au propane sur le pont, avec 2 tables de pique-nique à l'extérieur.

SALON..... Immense étage principal salon a des sièges confortables, une grande télévision murale, DVD, jeux de société, bureau, ordinateur, imprimante, et plus encore. Le niveau inférieur a une deuxième salon.

Wi-Fi et de prises de abondance pour recharger vos appareils.

Gaz, snacks, boissons alcoolisées, manger, automobile et VTT / motoneige réparation, bureau de poste, l'église, l'atterrissage de bateau, plage, et un abri de pique-nique sont bien disponibles à Osage avec épicerie et tout le reste disponible dans le parc rapide (10 miles) et Detroit Lakes (35 miles).

Motoneige Itinéraires / VTT et de la Lake Country Scenic Byway connectent au parking qui est assez grand pour 12 véhicules ainsi que les remorques.

Amazing Stay!

This is a beautiful home with so much character! Our family enjoyed it so much. There was plenty of space to spread out, tons of towels and extra blankets. Very close to nice parks and the Osage Beach. We would recommend this unique, beautiful home to families/big groups!

Wonderful Family Time

Our multiple stays here have always been awesome. There is plenty of sleeping spaces for a large group and the kitchen/eating area is very large. There is plenty to do for all age groups. We will be back.

Family Get Together

This place is amazing. Plenty of space to host a large group like we had. The set up is amazing and all the space, bedrooms, living room up and downstairs. Many bathrooms so no problems there and such a great location . Can walk to: OBT, Beyer’s Market and Byer’s Liqour Store. Lynda is wonderful. She met me there, did a walk through of the house and was also quick to repaind to the question I had. Already working on a family get together next year.

Sibling ATV trip

Great place to stay. ATV trails left from the parking lot. Gas and food across the street. Place was amazing. Everything you would need and more. Tv satellite was not working but wasn’t much time for that anyways. Would recommend to everyone to stay here.

Perfect Accommodations for a Family Vacation

All of us were thrilled with this place from the moment we stepped in. The pictures online make it look really nice, but it’s truly even better in person. The whole place is beautiful! The living/dining area is spacious, comfortable, and open. You can eat dinner with a full view of the kids playing in the living room, and cook and wash dishes while everyone is chatting and laughing around you. There was plenty of space for us to spread out for some quiet time too. Everything is so clean, well-stocked, and inviting. We loved having a big kitchen with all the dishes and gadgets you could need or want, including two ovens and the biggest cast iron skillet I’ve ever seen. Taco meat for 20? No problem with that gem! Having a place to eat all together and play games/relax all together was a favorite for our family, and many of us mentioned that as a highlight. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and all the bunk rooms and bedrooms worked perfectly for our big family. We could see ourselves fitting there for a couple more years! We had enough space for a yard game tournament, and the kids loved the play structure that the church allows guests to use in the back. It was really nice too to have the little Byers market a block or two away — that came in handy for the few extra ingredients we needed. We all took a walk a couple times down to the lake where people could enjoy the lakeside view or swim to the floating dock. It’s a nice walk and so close to the Schoolhouse! It was so great to be able to swim on a hot day within walking distance of the house. Though the schoolhouse is on a main road, the occasional passing traffic didn’t really bother us. The town itself is actually very quiet, and the people we didn’t meet were kind and friendly. For anyone holding out because of the in-town location, don’t let that stop you! You won’t be disappointed with this spot. The Schoolhouse is a TREASURE! We felt so comfortable and relaxed on our vacation weekend. What a gift for our family. We would love to come again!

Stayed there as a base while dealing with family stuff. Was nice to come home at the end of the day and unwind. We could gather in the large comfortable living room, play games in the dining room and each had our own space downstairs. We loved staying there and working on a fun family weekend next year.

Our four-generation family had a wonderful stay at the Schoolhouse! The clean and comfortable space was great for gathering as a large group while also providing quiet areas for conversation and relaxation. The location and small-town charm were perfect for us. We would definitely stay here again!

This is 4th stay at this property. Plenty of space for everything, sleeping, eating, and hanging out. Great kitchen for cooking and plenty of fridge storage for large groups. Another great stay in Osage.

We were amazed at the size of this place! Its so spacious and has really unique features being an old school. It has the character and charm of the past but completely modern amenities. There is so much storage space on the counter in the butlers pantry..it held all of our snacks and supplies. All kitchen supplies were provided, we didn't need to get a thing..pots, pans, dishes, silverware, linens, spices, knives, serving bowls. Anything we needed was there! Comfortable beds, plenty for all to have their own spaces, large livingroom, huge dining room, more than enough space for our large family group. Right on the main road with a small grocery store steps away. Lots to do in the area, we were never bored! It looks way better in person than online..that's why I did 4 stars on that. Wonderful response from the managers, had a few questions, quick response and answered all our issues. Our whole family loved it and will probably book again next summer!

Large rooms allowed for different activities at the same time. Large kitchen and counter spaced helped with storage and easy preparation of meals. We had a group of 22 any there was plenty of room for all.

WW 2024

Our group of friends have had an annual women's weekend starting in 1987. We have had 12-30 ladies join us over the years. This year we decided to stay at Osage and everything was perfect with everything we may need within walking distance. The house had towels, a Blackstone, crockpots, cooking utensils, appliances, soap, and bathroom toiletries. It met all our needs and beyond!!

We loved the stay! The property was amazing and we would absolutely stay again! The only item to update is check out time, online it says 1 pm but at the location all over the house it says 11am, so just a note to update that. Beautiful place, lake just down the street, dishes and cooking items there for us to use, comfy beds! Thank you!!

A Perfect Week in MN Lake Country

Our 2nd time at the Osage Schoolhouse for a family event was terrific. Four families from different directions arrived to a well-appointed and beautifully decorated place for 14 of us to enjoy each other's company, swim in Straight Lake, cook, play games, visit Itasca State Park, and engage in highly competitive mini golf at nearby Park Rapids. Lynda was great getting us checked in, everything was clean, orderly, and well stocked, from the ice cubes to the spice cupboard. The kitchen is spacious, well equipped, and there is a Blackstone Griddle available on the deck for outdoor cooking. The kids and teenagers had a fun time playing lawn games in the yard. I had a couple ZOOM business meetings during our stay, and the WIFI worked great, even with many of us on it at times. The grocery and liquor stores less than a rock throw away as well as the OBT are convenient for an impulse need or something forgotten at home. We would definitely recommend and reuse this property.

Excellent gathering space for large group

Unique place with sleeping arrangements for 23. Huge kitchen area well stocked. Lots of room for people to gather both upstairs and downstairs. Straight lake, which is nearby was also very nice as we brought a boat. Members of our group said they’d be willing to come here again we gathered as a large family get together.

Awesome Experience!

The host was amazing! She met us at the property and walked us through answering any questions we had. The house was exactly as described and extremely clean. We had 20 people staying at the house for my sons wedding. There was lots of room for everyone! They also had lots of extras like games and toys for the kids. They even had a pantry with staples just in case we needed something when we were cooking. Check out process was easy. I would definitely recommend this property!!

Menahga wedding review

We arrived and checked in and found the extremely well stocked kitchen suited our needs perfectly. We made lunch for the bride and groom to be and their friends and family and the made dinner. The road outside is busy but inside the School house it was barely audible. The bathrooms were clean and functional. The beds were comfortable. The entertainment systems were easily accessed.

Perfect Family Gathering

This is our third time staying at the school house. This is the perfect spot to host our gathering with ample room for eating, playing games, hanging out and sleeping. We love the outdoor space for outside games, the quiet neighborhood for morning walks, the next door grocery store for forgot items, the comfortable beds, and the three fridges to hold everything. We will continue to make this our annual gathering spot.

Amazing large family rental

From prior to checking in through the duration of our stay out expectations were far exceeded! The house was large enough for our family vacation of 20 and the location was perfect. A playground and beach within walking distance and plenty of indoor activities for the rainy times! We will definitely be back!
