My family and I stayed here when we were in town for a wedding. Everyone loved the waterfront view, the deck and yard. The lake was perfect for swimming. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. Phil was very quick to answer any questions I had. I would recommend Philâs place for a nice getaway!
The house was a nice stay for two nights for a graduation at Saint Anselm. Quiet street and right on the lake with a great view.Ample parking for 4 cars and just the right size for 6 adults.Owner communication was excellent. I would recommend this property.
Our family enjoyed a long weekend at Philâs place so we could attend a barn wedding nearby. The little ones loved playing by the shore. (super kid-friendly) Philâs place comes with all the necessities - comfy couches included!
Five stars all around. Beautiful property - clean, up to date, and easy to access. Phil is a great host who is very responsive. Neighborhood is awesome - lots of long time residents and all are very friendly. Really enjoyed our stay.
Great location right on the water. Beautiful house that fit 6 adults very comfortably. Phil was very attentive and easy to converse with. Would absolutely rent again

We love staying in this great Lakehouse.
A family of ducks visit us each year, and there was also a great blue heron. That was fun to observe. :) the property is the air and well maintained.
We enjoyed this home with a group of 8 adults for two days. It was a convenient location for an event in Bedford. The home is spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the view from the living room and deck. We would try to get this home again if we are in the area.
The house is beautiful and the view of the lake from the wall of windows is stunning. The ceilings are low and anyone who went upstairs for the first time hit their head. The over 6ft guys hit it pretty hard. There should be a sign posted on the way up. I also didn't catch that to get to the 4th BD you have to cut through the 3rd BD so there is no privacy there. The house was large enough to accommodate 10 people hanging out and playing games. Great open floor plan.
Location on lake beautiful and tranquil. Great to have deck lakeside. Bedrooms adequate. Really need bathroom on second floor. Also need pillows, coffee table and bedside table., as well as a bit more seating in family room. Please paint bright color or pad with foam the low overhang at start of stairwell; daughter and husband badly hurt head going up as ceiling dangerously low. Wonderful neighbors. Overall good stay for our purpose.
We were in New Hampshire for our grandsonâs wedding and Philâs Lake House accommodated all our family needs. Our son and his family flew in from Washington State and stayed with us at the Lake House. The house was clean, there were enough beds and space for all of us and the view was awesome. Being early risers, we totally enjoyed coffee, listening to the loons and sunrise on the lake from the inside. Mornings were chilly but afternoons were enjoyed on the deck. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. With so many of us coming in from different regions of the US, we had a delightful afternoon at the Lake House visiting. There was enough room for us all. Phil was very responsive to all of our questions and recommended places to eat in the local area. We enjoyed the beauty of Baboosic Lake and surrounding area.
You can't beat the location which for the most part makes up for the shortcomings. Interior is very clean but sparsly furnished. There is a TV but no pictures on the walls, no games, no books, no decorations. No extra blankets, pillows, towels. There were only six glasses (plastic) that had to be constantly washed to keep up with our family and we needed to go to the store for paper towels, sugar, and basic kitchen supplies. This is stuff that is furnished in any other vacation rental I have stayed in. Great house, perfect location, but be prepared for what it is lacking.
Lovely and cozy updated camp. Very comfortable, with plenty of space and light. Neighbors are charming and welcoming. If you're bringing kiddos, bring a fishing pole, the water's edge is 6' from the back deck and full of small bass in the morning and after the sun drops below the trees (larger fish in the grass at the end of the boat launch...shhh don't tell anyone).
Phil was very prompt and responsive.
The kitchen could use some updated glassware, bring your own wine glasses... or, like we did, "rough it" and drink from one of the many coffee cups. Well-equipped kitchen for basic meals, there's a drip coffee maker.
The master bedroom bedroom is the only room downstairs, the other 3 upstairs, but be aware that both bathrooms are downstairs (one off the Master, and the other off the kitchen)
This lake setting is quiet and picturesque, which makes for an excellent vacation spot. The kayaks are fun. The kitchen is well equipped; there are supplies for the washer and dryer; there are some games and puzzles for the rainy days or the evenings. We have come here over the years and are never disappointed.
The view is gorgeous. The house is a one-hundred-year-old house that has been upgraded nicely. It has charm and a little bit of quirk. We loved it. And the owner is super nice.
Stayed here with 2 friends for a retreat so our time onsite was minimal but what a great view of Banoosic Lake from the sitting room..there were 4 ample bedrooms and an easy commute to the retail areas. If you're particularl about your bath towels, you may want to bring backup, that was my only thought there's laundry machines right there. Owner was very responsive to emails and text.
We stayed only 2 nights. Check in was a breeze and the home was exceptionally clean. Communication was easy. View was amazing!! Not a lot of clutter and Knick knacks which would have to be put up if you have young children. Only thing is there wasnât any salt, spices or paper towels so be prepared to bring your own. Which was not a big deal to us only staying two nights. Nice host, beautiful property, comfortable beds, overall great place to stay.
This was the perfect home away from home to enjoy the fall colors of New Hampshire. The house was simply furnished but adequate for our enjoyment. And the location was ideal. The big picture windows overlooking the lake were perfect for both sunny and rainy days. We loved it!
Our 3rd year coming back! Every time there are more improvements to the property and it keeps getting better and better. The lake is great, friendly ducks and fish galore! The kids love the sandy beach. We canât get enough. I walk with a cane and as someone who is a bit disabled- the proximity of the house to the water (literally a few steps) canât be beat. :)
Perfect property. Location is excellent. Very quiet spot. House is perfect, spotlessly clean, new appliances and very well maintained. Will definitely book again. Everything was great and easy.
