Bienvenue dans notre petit paradis en Floride!

Venez vivre des journées magiques à notre complexe Barra Villa, réputé pour son atmosphère sophistiquée et ludique. La station se compose de 8 beaux appartements et studios.

APPARTEMENT SANIBEL

spacieux appartement de 2 chambres au rez-de-chaussée - lit bébé disponible - accès direct au jardin depuis la cuisine!

L'appartement "Sanibel" est meublé principalement en blanc.

Si vous vous sentez bien pour une nuit confortable à la maison, vous pourrez regarder une émission de qualité supérieure à la télévision ou sur DVD tout en vous relaxant sur le canapé ou dans l’un des fauteuils en osier.

Si vous êtes une famille avec deux enfants, l'appartement pourrait être particulièrement attrayant puisqu'il dispose de deux chambres à coucher. Un lit supplémentaire pour un bébé ou un enfant en bas âge peut être installé dans l'une des chambres à coucher. Bien entendu, l’appartement Sanibel est équipé d’un berceau, de draps et de couvertures, d’une chaise haute pour bébé et de serviettes pour bébé.

Dans la cuisine, une famille trouve suffisamment d’espace pour dîner au bar. En guise de traitement spécial, vous trouverez une petite porte qui vous mènera le long d’un escalier et qui mène directement à notre magnifique jardin à l’arrière. La cuisine est équipée de nombreux plats et extras afin que vous ayez tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin.

La salle de bain a été entièrement rénovée en septembre 2016 et dispose d'une douche spacieuse. Bien sûr, assez de serviettes sont disponibles. Dans notre appartement Sanibel, les familles avec enfants ne seront pas les seules à se sentir chez elles. Aussi pour quatre adultes, cet appartement est idéal.

Family of 4 stayed, location was great for things to do (downtown , Edison/Ford estate, grocery) and visiting with relatives. Enjoyed the pool and kitchen was big enough to eat a few meals in to save on . Communication with host before and after was timely.

Amazing stay in a GREAT location!

We could not have been happier with our choice to stay here. The location was amazing, the apartment was clean and well stocked, Marcus was super attentive and helpful, and we were minutes away from several different beautiful beaches. We will definitely be back soon!

Best home away from home!

We really enjoyed the Sanibel Apartment, and couldn't have been more happy with our stay! Ms. Streng's friendliness and availability throughout our time was top notch, the apartment was in an excellent location, and the comfort of the apartment superseded other places we've stayed before! I would highly recommend staying here, and look forward to returning in the future.

Small apartment perfect for our little family

The house is very sweet in a nice part of town. We found it to be very clean. The pool is also warm and clean and right out the back door. It was very quiet at night. The beds were comfortable. The house is a short driving distance to downtown Fort Myers which is really fun with lots of restaurants and little shops.

Ft Myers Vacation

We were in Ft Myers to visit our son who works for Florida Repertory Theatre in the downtown area. The house was perfectly located - 2 blocks from a Publix and a 20 minute walk from downtown. We stayed in Apartment Sanibel for 6 nights and it was great for our 4 person family. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all we needed for cooking several meals, and the pool was refreshing in the midday heat. We would definitely stay here again.

Review

The property is clean and taken care of. It is an older building though, has window ac units and is in an older area off the beaten path a bit. Nice for the cost though.

Overall

Pool water was cold and unable to use. Lots of nice chairs by pool. 2 bike locks on porch but no bikes. Property manager was very quick to respond and pleasant to work with. Nice and close to a Publix.

With regard to the pool temperature, we will see if other guests have changed the settings here since past guests have not bothered with the temperature. Furthermore, we would like to point out that we know that there are bicycles to see on one or the other picture and that we actually provide them - but we do not officially advertise them, as not all of our guests have treated them with care in the past and therefore we can never say whether the bicycles are in a drivable condition. And of course, we thank you for taking the time to write a review.

Great location and pool

This well-located apartment has a sunny pool with heating. The kitchen is small but adequate, though one of the stove burners is uneven and makes it hard to keep your skillet level while cooking. The bedrooms are spacey and the beds are good. The bathroom is nice with a good shower. The table is only a high top but works for a small group. The couch is comfortable. We couldn't figure out how to light the outdoor gas grill so instructions would be helpful. The pool was the highlight with comfortable chairs and loungers. We arrived after a cold spell but the kids didn't mind the cooler water until the sun and heater gradually brought up the temperature. The pool is deep enough with good stairs down for smaller kids. There is plenty of room around it and it is lighted at night. A very good rental.

Thank you for the detailed and nice feedback about our apartment Sanibel. We will look into the matter with the grill (and also the stove burner). With the very frequent use, it can always come to minor problems such as a loose contact of the igniter. Especially that your children enjoy their time at the pool makes us very happy!

Excellent accommodation!

This apartment is relaxing and roomy enough for the three of us aside from being under 1000 square feet. We genuinely enjoyed our time and the ammenities of the full kitchen, pool, grill, and washer and dryer (that we utilized multiple times with having a 6 year old). So nice to be able to wash our clothes and towels after a trip to the beach. The shower was always warm and never ran out of hot water even with other tenants in the building. We could not hear other tenants in their apartments either. Very sound proof. The only reason I didn’t give this five stars is because the bed in the main bedroom is a full size and could easily fit a queen size in my opinion( my husband is over six feet tall). As well, a 2-3 inch memory foam mattress topper over the mattress would help to improve the sleep. Our daughter had no complaints about her bed and stay. The linens were clean and soft and plenty of towels to go around. We will def try to book again when returning to fort Myers! Beautiful neighborhood and or far from the beaches. Thanks!

Clean and affordable

And there's a pool! It's a large (2 bedroom) space, fully stocked. 2 blocks from a grocery store. We enjoyed it!

Girls Winter Getaway

Loved the location in Fort Myers quiet area with beautiful trees close to Ford/Edison Winter retreat. House needed maintenance especially electric upgrade. Extension cords everywhere!

In Florida, it is common for power lines not to run underground. The same is true for some of the extension cords in and around the house. However, our guests can be assured that none of them pose a safety risk as our homes are regularly inspected by the relevant authorities.

Cute and cozy in a great location

Nice comfortable apartment in a great location within walking distance of downtown. The pool was the perfect temperature and relaxing in the front porch was wonderful. There were only two of us so we had plenty of room to spread out. It would have been nice to have cable or satellite TV to keep up on the world news. The antenna provided a couple of channels with spotty at best reception. Other than that it was a great place to stay and I would definitely stay there again.

The provision of cable TV would represent an enormous cost for us/the vacation rental so that we could hardly maintain our previous very good price-performance ratio that is always appreciated by our guests. However, we are happy to provide an Amazon Fire TV stick so that our guests can use various apps if they have their own accounts.

We attach great importance to cleanliness, which is why our staff checked the air conditioning immediately after the departure of the guests and found no mold. With better communication of the guest with us already on-site, an early departure would certainly not have been necessary. However, it is quite right, the house is an old city villa with a lot of charm and character. And in terms of price, we are always looking for a good price-performance ratio.

Spring break

was a very nice home, very clean. The other roomers in the building were super nice. The pool area was clean. Water was warm. Grill worked great. It was an overall lovely experience.

Sanibel apartment

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean when we arrived and suited our needs. I had read in previous reviews about the deadbolt not working on the back door and the uneven burner on the stove. Neither of these were fixed. The deadbolt was most concerning. The apartment manager was very prompt in responding to questions when we texted. We loved the pool and had it to ourselves most of the time. Outdoor appearance of the property was not what we expected from pictures....rotted wood, bags of mulch lying about. Beds were comfortable and apartment was tastefully decorated. For the price, we were satisfied with our experience.

We are glad to hear that all in all you had a great time at our Barra Villa Resort. Regarding the deadbolt on the door and the stove, we can only say that there is/was nothing to repair. The door was checked by us and can be closed. However, the door is a little sluggish and should be lifted briefly when closing the deadbolt. The ovens in our accommodations are cleaned by our staff after each guest - even the spiral burners are removed and cleaned. This very careful and thorough cleaning can quickly lead to a slight bending of the spirals, but this does not affect the cooking properties. However, some things were fixed in the outside area of the house: among other things, the mulch that was stored in the bags was distributed by the gardening company (unfortunately, we cannot always say 100% when such work is carried out, so it can also be that the bags with the mulch lie there one or two days longer). Read entire review before booking

The apt is in a good neighborhood, and is within walking distance to the grocery, restaurants, and bars. We were dissatisfied with the apt. and the way we were treated when we brought up the issues. First issue: Day 1 - No propane for the grill. When we contacted the owner via messenger, he said we were in charge of purchasing the propane - (which I can understand, but it is a shared grill with other tenants, so I guess I am suppose to remove the propane after each use)... and then proceeds to tell me that only one burner on the grill works. Second issue: Day 10- Refrigerator no longer works. It would not reach an adequate temperature to keep meat, and produce fresh. When we contacted the owner, he sent over the property manager. He inspected the fridge. I requested a large cooler to keep my meat on ice until they found a solution. The next evening they returned with a new fridge, and that worked for a matter of a few hours and we were reaching back out to them for a new one. The maintenance guy said "it is probably plugged in to the wrong outlet, just move it and plug it in to another outlet." So...move a fridge, that does not sound easy! We requested the property manager come back over and he refused to. We finally got a new fridge that following day. We do understand that issues will arise in rental homes. The final straw was the property owner emailing about our daughter spending the day with us. The disrespect and rudeness was what made us not want to stay there and unfortunately will not be renting from them again.

These guests were unfortunately a very bad experience for us. Regarding point 1: It is already stated in the advertisement that guests must pay for propane themselves and also in the arrival information. Who can read is clearly at an advantage ;) To point 2: It is really a pity that we are so badly rated in retrospect regarding the refrigerator. The guests were very demanding and unfriendly and wanted a new fridge immediately. Since our craftsman works for 21 apartments, it sometimes takes a little longer until he has time to come. However, the property manager provided a cooler and ice within a short time. The refrigerator was replaced the same day. The next day we were informed by guests that the new fridge was not fully functional, which is almost hard to believe. Therefore, our property manager had only asked to try another outlet. The refrigerator was not to be moved. This was refused by the guests. We don't think this is too much to ask if that had been the problem. Unfortunately, the refrigerator was indeed defective. However, it was again exchanged on the same day. So, we were very anxious and took care of everything as soon as possible, and that under constant nagging from the guests. To point 3: The daughter came in pajamas from the 2nd used bedroom as our property manager was on site. This looked from our side after another unregistered guest. It is our right as landlords to question this and we did not do so unkindly. We will gladly do without these guests in the future!

Girls trip

Our stay was excellent! The apartment was in a great location for trips to the beach, places to see, restaurants and shopping. Our appointment was the perfect size for the three of us friends. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. We would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Florida.
