The condo was just as pictured, very well equipped. We loved being right on the beach with the sound of the ocean at night. Very good location with a quiet neighborhood feel, would definitely like to stay here again!!
The location is fantastic just as described. The surrounding facility is kept very nice. There is security personnel and they are friendly and helpful. A safe for valuables would be a nice addition. The bones of this place are good but the decor needs refreshing. We loved spending time on the deck and it was super relaxing. Tim was very responsive to our inquiries. We would consider staying here again.
Everything about Tim's Casita by the sea was outstanding. You cannot beat walking out the backdoor and having the beach and Sea of Cortez and then walking out the front door to a heated pool. Only needed Tim's help on one thing and he was on top of it. If I had to say one thing that needs work, the couch is getting a little long in the tooth but was still able to nap ;-)
We had a wonderful time at Tim's condo during the week between Christmas and New Year. The location is perfect - beach out in front of the patio and heated pool outside the front door. Our kids especially enjoyed playing on the beach and swimming in the pool. It is a perfect place for a quiet and relaxing vacation, with access to exciting activities (e.g., whale watching in Cabo San Lucas, snorkeling at Play Chileno, a trip to Todos Santos) a short drive away.
Amazing time in a gorgeous location. Feels like a Corona Ad with the view.
I am writing this from the Condo while I look out over the white sand and blue water. The place is beautiful. The kitchen had coffee available and the fridge was stocked with some basic condiments so we did not have to buy them ( a real pain when you are only there for a week). The place is nicely furnished but the best spot in the condo is on the patio over looking the beach. I am generally a little lazy but this place made me want to walk along the beach, which I did every day in the morning or night. Only negative is that the surf is quite strong for younger children, but my teenage boys wanted to just hangout in this surf or in one of the two pools. I highly recommend this place. Tim was also very accommodating when a family emergency caused us to have to move our dates a couple of days.
We just returned from a great week at Tim's condo. The condo is the perfect location - beach on one side with a huge patio where we ate all of our meals. and heated pool on the other, plus easy access to groceries and restaurants in San Jose del Cabo. Good snorkeling beaches are just a 10 minute drive away. The complex and pool are well maintained and the owners of other units were very welcoming to us and our two young boys. We will definitely be back.
My husband, myself and our two adult daughters (25 and 21) just returned home from a beautiful week at Tim's condominium! The property was immaculate and fully equipped to meet all of our needs. It is a short cab ride to the center of San Jose where you will find fabulous restaurants and shopping. everyone in the surrounding units were so friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Don't hesitate to book this property..it is ideal!!!
We had a wonderful two week stay in La Jolla. Miles of walkable beach at front door, nice pool at back door. Perfect location between CSL & San Jose. Very nice condo with everything you need.
With our timeshare closed due to damage from Hurricane Odile, we stayed in Tim's condo. It was AMAZING!!! Our only regret was that we did not book it for the full THREE WEEKS we stayed in condos! Tim was AWESOME to deal with! He was always very prompt, courteous and most helpful! Tim's condo was just as he described: updated, very clean, well-appointed and has everything you need! PLUS, what a GREAT LOCATION! The awesome patio is a few steps from the beach: a great whale watching spot! The wave sights and sounds from this unit are spectacular. The pools and grounds are very well cared for. There are two resident iguanas that often hang out by the pool. Long beach walks are great here. This was a BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL GREAT PLACE to stay! We would love to come back again...and again...and again.

We just spent 3 weeks in Tim's condo and it felt like we landed in paradise! The condo is well equipped, beautifully updated and the location is excellent. Communications with Tim were prompt and professional. Everything was as described and discussed and we're looking forward to returning to La Jolla!
We had a wonderful week in Tim's condo in San Jose del Cabo. The condo is perfectly placed with the front door opening to the beach and the back door to the pool. The master bedroom also has a sliding door open to the awesome patio. The kitchen has everything you'd need, and there's a grill on the patio. I'd suggest you come to the condo before you head to the store and see what staples you have and what you don't. Then walk down to "Mega" to shop and take a taxi back. La Jolla is a quiet condominium complex on a quiet beach. If you're looking for excitement, you'll have to go into town or down to Cabo San Lucas. We found that you could get around via the bus and taxis, but decided to rent a car for a few of the days we were there. If you walk over to the Bel Aire next door, there is a gentleman who can rent you a car for about $50/day (includes taxes and insurance). The surf at the beach outside the condo is intense. My husband and kids liked it for body surfing, but it was way too much for me. La playa es peligroso! However, if you want to surf, walk down the beach to the right to Zippers and get a lesson from Pedro at Los Cabos Surf School. It was $55 for a great lesson and the board for the day. He did a great job. The highlight for me was snorkeling at Chileno Bay. We drove there, but I'm told you can do the bus too. Make sure you bring food and drink if you want it, because there is nothing there (no rentals either - we rented from the surf shop across the highway from zippers). You can surf right from the beach, and this is where you'd be brought if you purchased a snorkeling excursion from Cabo. Like swimming in a fish bowl! Downsides: the selling starts when you get through customs and kind of never ends. Be prepared for the timeshare push at the airport, and if you don't want it - be firm. There are folks walking the beach in San Jose, but if you smile and say "no gracias" they'll move on. In Cabo they're much more forceful. Also in Mega - lots of folks waiting for an opportunity to see you a fishing trip, sunset cruise... gets old. However, if you want some nice jewelry, look for Mateo who walks by the condo every day. Really nice guy. Pesos or dollars - which is better? By all accounts it's Pesos, but the exchange kills you either way. Also, I had a hard time sleeping. Not sure if it was the sound of the intense surf, or just your typical travel insomnia.
