Joyeux Breeze 4 est une maison toute l'année avec 212 pieds de partage / plage privée sur une longue baie de sable de mile du lac Michigan. Une courte balade vous amène à la maison de la lumière Sturgeon Bay et le Land Trust Door County Preserve, offrant une belle sentiers pédestres. Le bord du lac est parfait pour les kayaks, la planche à voile, la natation et la voile, avec facilité pour lancer vos activités nautiques calmes. Parfait pour 4 adultes ou 2 adultes et jusqu'à 3 enfants!

Laissez vos soucis derrière. Apportez vos vélos pour profiter d'un, rustique, tour méandres panoramique ou votre kayak / canot pour une pagaie le long du rivage. Lire un livre ou faire une sieste dans le hamac de corde. Notre chalet a son propre charme niché avec bois derrière et face à l'eau. Vous pourrez vous détendre au son et regarder les vagues que vous devenez rafraîchi dans cette «sortir de tout" retraite.

A WINTER retraite confortable! Admirez la beauté du front de lac gelé, faire une promenade tranquille dans les bois, à sortir vos chaussures de neige, construire un bonhomme de neige ou de se blottir tout simplement en face d'un incendie. Pour les réservations hivernales: Pour préparer votre séjour en hiver, nous vous prions de nous prévenir deux semaines à l'avance Je vous remercie!

Le chalet offre 2 chambres et 2 salles de bain / couchage pour 4 personnes. La chambre principale a un lit queen et une salle de bain / douche. La deuxième chambre a deux lits jumeaux. Le salon offre une pleine grandeur, futon confortable. La deuxième salle de bains dispose d'une douche.

Une cuisine complète est bien équipée pour préparer les repas que vous apprécierez dans le vitré salle à manger. Ou vous pouvez préférer utiliser le barbecue Weber et fête sur le pont avec table de pique-nique et chaises longues.

Un court trajet en voiture vous amène au centre-ville de Sturgeon Bay ou à de nombreux autres villages de Door County pittoresques, des boutiques fantaisistes, galeries d'art et restaurants.

One of the Best

Merry Breeze 4 Cottage is great place to stay. We have been going for the past few years and love the location. The cottage is cozy, perfect for those cold winter nights and great a catching the gentle breeze off the lake.

Merry Breeze is just that, ... a breath of fresh air that takes us to our happy place. We love this quiet little cottage on the shores of Lake Michigan, the sound of the surf, the sand under our feet, the night sky filled with more stars than we've every seen, and the sunrise over the lake. Thank you for making Merry Breeze the coziest, most comfortable little place to stay.

Incredible place to stay!

While not ON the beach, the cottage was just across the road in a cluster of other adorable cottages and there is a beautiful view through the picturesque tree-lined road of the water and the sun glinting off of it. The sound of waves lulled us to sleep each night and made the screened in porch (that faces the water) so relaxing. We saw deer, so many birds, and funny squirrels that kept us entertained--we never once felt the urge to watch TV in such a gorgeous setting. The cottage was perfect and had everything needed for a comfortable, relaxing getaway. If you enjoy sunrises, the ones here were incredible. Peggy was easy to reach for check in and checkout, and she graciously checked in via text to make sure we were comfortable. Highly recommend this enchanting escape!

Merry Breeze getaway

A great property in a quiet location provided a great stay for our first trip to Door County. Loved the screened in front porch and the firepit on the beach. Everything was a short drive away and we enjoyed coming back everynight away from the busy tourist sights. When we got the address it looked farther from the beach than we expected, but when we arrived it was truly just steps away. I would recommend this location and stay here again. Thanks Peggy for sharing this location with us.

Great Get Away

Highly recommend this property. We loved the screen in porch. The cabin was extremely clean and had everything we needed to cook at “home” some days during our stay. We loved long walks on the beach. Our boys enjoyed fishing as well. Property owner was responsive and easy to work with. Would definitely book this property again! Thanks Peggy.

The cottage was exactly what we expected from the listing. Very cute & cozy in a beautiful & quiet location. Easy jump off spot for Door exploring but also far enough away from hustle of busier areas to enjoy some serious downtime. Beach/bay offers a true Lake Michigan experience. Screen porch a winner on our rainy day. Kitchen is extremely well stocked with cooking utensils although we ate out most of the time.

Wonderful Location

Peggy’s cabin is in the perfect place for a beach getaway in Door County. It was clean and well-maintained, with a nice screened in porch to sit on and listen to the waves. It is a great jumping off point for exploring the towns of Door County. We will be back!

Sweet cottage near wild and beautiful Lake Michigan

Peggy was great to work with and available to answer questions. We loved the cozy cottage, perfect for two people. We admired the clever craftsmanship and efficient use of space. Especially appreciated the real wood fireplace—so romantic after a walk on the beach. Be aware that Merry Breeze 4 is the 3rd cabin in on one side of a small road with Lake Michigan on the other. There are nonetheless still great views of the lake with the lovely lulling waves the only sound we heard at night. The area is amazingly quiet despite being fairly densely populated. We slept great; a rarity on vacation for us.

Great Location!

This cottage was the perfect location to explore Door County and then relax and unwind! Clean, comfy, cute, and a very well stocked cottage with beach access, benches and fire pit. S’mores on the shore! Great walking and short hikes on road, beach, and close by nature preserve. Easy drive to all that Door County has to offer. Would love to rebook on any future visits to the area!

The cottage had everything we needed for our stay. It was charming and is located just across the narrow lane from Lake Michigan, which you can see from the cottage. The sound of the waves was so peaceful! Communication with the Owner was very smooth. Thank you, Peggy, for a relaxing, enjoyable stay.

Beach Condo on the Lake

The cottage was charming! Very well appointed and comfortable. All of the comforts of home but in a beautiful setting! Close enough to enjoy the various communities but felt like we were in the country while at the cottage. Peggy provided detailed information and was quick to reply to my emails.

Cozy cottage with lovely views!

Great location, steps from a wide sandy beach with shallow, clear water for 100 feet out; mile Long Beach walks in either direction, and a shady lane in front of cottage that is great for walks and biking. Wonderful screen porch to enjoy watching the waves, cool lake breezes and beautiful moon reflections over the water. Comfortable, nicely decorated home with easy access to all living areas. Great kitchen/dining area functionality and clear directions to use of lighting, ac/heat, fireplace, appliances and TV/stereo and plenty of hot water. A lovely week spent laughing with friends, playing cards, Long Beach walks, wading, sunning, cooking in and eating out, shopping and watching fireworks on the 4th! Only one issue…the sheets on the twin beds did not fit well, coming loose at all hours and could use a new mattress on one of the beds. Otherwise, a very special vacation!

Charming Lake Shore Cottage

This is an absolutely charming cottage that exceeded our expectations. Impeccably clean, comfortably furnished, and ideally located this cottage is absolutely perfect for a peaceful, quiet vacation or an exciting Great Lake adventure. The wrap around porch provides lovely forest and lake views, is perfect for relaxing or reading with plenty of comfortable porch chairs. The property is wonderfully located close to towns, lighthouses, trails, sightseeing, and local pubs! Nice kitchen, comfortable beds, and two complete bathrooms. The one caveat I would give is to be sure to CAREFULLY READ all the owner's information. Two things that surprised us was: 1. The requirement to sign a personal lease, which we have never had to do with any other VRBO 2. The necessity to bring our own bath towels. (Because we were traveling internationally the owner did graciously provide us with the necessary bath towels when we explained that we could not pack extra luggage just for linens.) Otherwise, the cottage itself really is idyllic.

Amazing location, impeccably clean

Merry Breeze 4 was a lovely little cottage and an awesome value. It is on the smaller size, but very efficiently laid out so that my family of four did not feel on top of each other at all. Pros: The lake is a one minute walk across the lane. The lane that the cottage is situated on makes for an awesome place to walk in the mornings or evenings with over a mile of quiet, lakeside frontage. The beach across from the cottage still has plenty of sand, even though the lake levels were quite high. The cottage itself was very clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The kids loved the twin beds where the owners had sweetly placed stuffed animals on each one. Water pressure in shower was good and plenty of hot water. The description mentions that the cottage is on well water. We found the water to be perfectly good (we are pretty picky and normally drink filtered). The kitchen had all the cooking pans and utensils you would need and all the appliances were in great working order. Awesome deck with lake view. Cons: No washer and dryer. If you are a couple or only visiting for a couple days, this would be irrelevant. But 4-5 days with two kids and wet beach towels (that had a really hard time drying outside due to the moisture in the air) and two garbage bags full of dirty laundry on the long drive home, left me wishing for access to a washer/dryer. Note: While the kitchen is well-supplied with pots/pans/utensils/etc., there are no condiments or supplies like cooking oil/syrup/etc. (there are spices, however). Also note: while the cottage is one of three staggered back from the road, this cottage backs up to the woods, creating a more private feel. The staggering also preserves the lake view from the deck of the cottage. Overall a terrific value in a beautiful location.
