Beautiful waterfront views overlooking Gun Point Cove. The home is comfortable and very clean throughout. A great central location for seeing the sights around the Harpswell area and trying the local seafood establishments. Liliette is always an excellent host. Looking forward to our return visit!

It was a wonderful week and the views are spectacular. We had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. I would recommend this house highly and the host was very nice.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house is terrific, the hosts are lovely, and the sunsets are spectacular. Great location as well. I highly recommend it!

This was our third time to stay at this home, and the location never ceases to impress. Liliette is a wonderful host and a prompt communicator. The ocean view is always a delight, watching fishing activity is entertaining, and seeing herons and all kinds of little sea creatures in the tidal pools provides endless adventure. A true highlight this year was a low bald eagle flyover while we were out on the deck having dinner! I wasn't quick enough to get a picture but it seemed to be checking out what we were eating in case it wanted some. We may well visit again if the host continues to offer the property for use. The only thing that can be identified as a drawback to this property is the road to get to it, since it's not paved, making for a rough ride for the last 1.6 miles, and ultimately a dirty car after a couple of those trips!

Thank you for the nice review, Donald. I am happy that you enjoyed your stay once again. Although the road will remain a gravel road as are many in Harpswell, it is currently entering the third year of an improvement program and is expected to be much smoother next year.

Great Ocean Views

Excellent location on Gun Point Cove. Beautiful views and sunsets over the water. Enjoyed peaceful mornings sipping coffee on the deck. Fresh seafood available within a short drive.

This Maine coastal house has a million dollar view, with a tide pool next to the deck that fills and empties over and over, each incoming tide a little different than what came before, and how would you even know that unless the long tidal pool was almost under your own deck? There is a long wood wharf out to a floating dock where my daughter went swimming every day, rain or shine. But the days were sunny, early to mid September, the sunsets lovely--with one spectacular evening where the sun set into the treeline of Orr Island across the bay in a long, luscious burst of the most intense golden light I have ever witnessed. We at first were wary of the long unpaved road out this narrow finger of land but considering the deep nights with a profound silence, we began to appreciate the 8 minutes of bumpy road, how it formed a natural barrier to the speedy life beyond. Brunswick or Bath are 20-30 minutes away, the Coast Maine Botanical Gardens over an hour. The house itself is clean and comfortable, not very up-to-date (Corell dishware) if you obsess about such things, but you have everything you need and the beds are wonderful. We stayed two weeks, and even that wasn't enough to get to know the tides, the birds, the variety of sunsets.

Beautiful views and great shelling

This was a very clean, tidy, and lovely home on the rock cliffs with its own swimming hole at high tide. It was convenient for shopping and visiting quaint gift shops. Sunset views were phenomenal!The owner is very friendly and helpful with answers to our questions about local places to visit. I would stay here again in the future.

The house was amazing and Liliette was a wonderful host. We enjoyed talking with her and her sister-in-law. House had everything we needed and location was great. Very quiet area. Everyone stayed on the deck most days. It was about 2 hrs from places we like to visit yearly in Maine. Will be staying at this place next year.

This property was a find-- gorgeous area, beautiful views, right on the water. Very comfortable home. Owner was very responsive, but not at all intrusive. We would definitely return.
