Condo est à seulement quelques pas de la jetée de pêche de North End et du salon High Tide et au-delà de cette plage inhabitée pour les meilleures promenades de l'île. C'est amusant de regarder le pêcheur ou de pêcher de la jetée vous-même, des vues incroyables et des couchers de soleil depuis la jetée! La plage de Freeman Park juste là pour de superbes longues promenades le long des vagues! C'est merveilleux!!

Appliances very old. Refrigerator freezer icemaker did not work and a note was on it saying sorry but too old to get repair parts we had 3 plastic ice cube makers and a bucket in freezer. Advertised that they had beach chairs but only one was not all rusted. Rest didn’t look safe nor clean. Rug on porch was old and looked moldy and was smelly. AC worked. View was fabulous. Bed fairly comfortable. All furnishings were pretty old looking but serviceable. Most disturbing were the floors. They were not even. Doors would not go over them due to high spots. This condition was throughout the condo. It did not feel stable.

Thank you for your review. I’m glad you enjoyed the fabulous ocean view and location. For clarification, the kitchen was completely renovated in 2022 with all new appliances, with the exception of the refrigerator. The refrigerator’s ice maker is not operational because replacement parts are obsolete, and this is clearly disclosed in the listing. We provide ice cube trays and an ice bucket for guests’ use, or bags of ice can easily be purchased. The condo is on the first floor and built on pilings, and the floors are stable. The bedroom and bathroom doors all close properly, so I’m not sure what the reference to the doors being unable to clear the floors was based on. I wanted to provide these clarifications for accuracy.

This was my 5 th time staying at this property. Last fall, the hurricane took away the beach…but the beach was back this trip! This condo is well maintained. Barbara was quick to respond when we had a question about the key code.I had a great visit!

I don’t think you can get any closer to the beach unless you pitched a tent on the sand. Barbara is a proactive host and everything was as we expected. We really enjoyed being able to hear and see the ocean 24/7 and felt comfortable in the area. Having our small dog along made it extra special.

Overall the stay was really nice. Unobstructed view of the beach! Beautiful spot, less than 2 miles from the Carolina Beach Boardwalk. The place was very clean and kitchen stalked with items for cooking. The beach does have a big pipe running along the coastline, so that might be a drawback but that’s the case for the entire coastline here. You do have to bring your own sheets and towels (including hand towels for the bathroom) but the owner supplies paper towels and toilet paper. The owner was good with communication throughout the entire process! Overall would recommend and come again.

Perfect beach getaway location

The property was clean, more spacious that it looked in the listing, and was perfectly located with convenient beach access and a great balcony overlooking the coastline. Property owner wae very responsive.

Perfect stay

Perfect stay at the beach -with it being spacious, well decorated and an oceanfront property. The location was ideal and the owner was easy to reach and provided thorough instructions.

CHECK OUT ALL THE PHOTOS! In The Pink Sunskipper, one of the largest 2 bd/2bth layouts, you can't get any closer to being right on the beach with just a few paces from this vacation home. It's surreal sitting on the beach deck or in the living room and watching all the magnificent beauty of the ocean and surroundings. It is certainly a million dollar view and renourishment for the soul. Besides the location, the area of Carolina Beach and all it has to offer the traveler who wants to be laid back or on the go, is in abundance when staying at The Pink Sunskipper.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Right at the beach, Step out the door and you are there, can't get any closer for the views, smells, sounds of the ocean, sunrise, dolphins jumping, fishing boats in the morning for their catch of the day, stimulate all of your senses within this ocean retreat of peace and relaxation. And you can bring your four legged best friend fur baby that is 50 pounds or under, well behaved, well housebroken :)
