Great Location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was great! There was 6 of us, and we had plenty of room! The pool was warm for those few cooler days we didn’t want to spend on the beach, and the beach service was a nice bonus so we didn’t have to carry a bunch of stuff down to the water! It’s our 2nd time at Holiday Surf, and we will continue to come here for our Florida travels!! The first floor was definitely the way to go with all the kids, too!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Always impressed with the customer service, housekeeping, and amenities! We are repeat customers that have been returning for many years. I will say we have as a family, have made many memories here and plan to continue. The upgrades on our condo have remained aesthetically pleasing! We also felt safe in our condo #104 during the bad storms that rolled through. Even though it was double red flag every day, we had plenty to do at Holiday Surf and Racquet Club. Still not a fan of the barn door in the master that would come open when you’d think it’s closed, but other than that, 5 stars, 10/10 and highly recommend booking next vacation at this amazingly clean place!

Reviewer Comments: As a young family we visited the Holiday Surf and Racket Club for many years during spring break. This time we returned with grandchildren. It did not disappoint. We chose a ground floor unit which enabled easy in and outing to swimming, tennis, shuffleboard, pickle ball and the beach. The unit is well set up for two families with personal space and common areas. It is well equipped with everything you would need. There were also puzzles, games and books to entertain. The resort is well equipped and loans out rackets and movies freely. We thoroughly enjoyed our week even with some inclement weather. It was a reminder of the good times we had in the past. We highly recommend the resort and the unit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved all of the upgrades in the condo! Very modern and clean with updated appliances. Definitely loved the asthetics of every aspect of #104 rooms. The only negative which is very minimal on the grand scheme of things, is the barn door for master bath privacy. It looks amazing, however, I would feel better if there was an actual door there. Otherwise, I highly recommend staying here and it was well worth it. I have already booked it for next year but if the price jump is doubled from what I’ll pay next stay, we may not be able to return. The front row of umbrella space should be first come first serve. We were up at 6:30am each morning to secure a spot which I think should be the last thing on our minds when we’re on vacation, nevertheless, that system is flawed and may take many tries to effectively figure out. However, we’ll continue saving our $$ all year to make happy memories at the beach!

Great condo!

The condo was recently renovated and looks amazing! We had a great stay and would definitely stay there again. Our only complaints were the air conditioner was a bit loud and the mattresses on the bunk beds were very thin and not comfortable. Everything else was great!

In a central location for activities outside of the rental although we spent most time on site at the beach & tennis courts. Rooms are spacious; although the pictures need updating as the balcony is not screened in as shown. Our rental was swept (but definitely not "clean" as the floors needed a good mopping). Overall we were pleased and would consider staying again.

Keep Ms. Kilgore Away From the Guests

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival 1 of our 2 condos was ready. We knew this because a real estate agent was video taping for a perspective buyer. Unfortunately my wife was told that it was not. When I inquired about the 2nd condo being ready by 4 PM as stated in the contract, I was told that doesn't apply during peak season. So I mentioned that that stipulation should be removed from the contract. On Friday night the day before our departure, I asked for a roll of toilet paper. Ms. Kilgore informed me that they would not give a roll because all condo associations in destin supply 2 rolls per bathroom. After a rather lengthy discussion with the acting manager Ms. Kilgore, I went to Target and bought 8 rolls. I delivered 2 rolls to the staff member at the office so that any other guest wouldn't be treated this way. The guys responsible for setting up the beach were fantastic, Kuodos to Isaac and Cooper. The laundry staff was great also. If the condo association is smart, they'll get a manager in there to support the staff and guests and keep Ms. Kilgore as far away from the general public as possible. Her remaining in the position of acting manager will only harm staff moral and guest satisfaction. Hopefully she'' be gone before our next stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying here for over 20 years. The new updates to the property look great. Our only complaint was check in time. Every guest should be checked in by 4 pm. If not, there should be some compensation. We are lucky because my sister owns a condo so we can go to the beach. We had a great stay and will be back.

It was a great location but the wicker furniture was uncomfortable and needs to be replaced, and it needs to be painted and deep cleaned. Had several issues with the appliances but maintience come in very quickly and fixed. Kitchen was well stocked with items needed.
