Beautiful, clean, spacious apartment. Loved the location and the layout. Had all the amenities to make us feel comfortable. Felt very at home. The only thing to be aware is there is construction next to the 2nd bedroom wall. There was quite a bit a of noise from 8-5 weekdays. if you’re out and about this isn’t a problem. And it may be done by the time you go. I’d suggest follow up on progress.

Thank you for staying with us. We continue to inform guests of the construction noise during daytime hours. We currently anticipate this neighbouring project to continue for six months or more but some periods are with noise and some without which we cannot predict.

Amazing place

Celia's place was amazing. Exactly as described, spacious, clean, comfortable and in a fantastic location. Couldn't wish for anything more. Would definitely book again the next time I visit Lagos.

Great getaway

Loved the place. Great location. Walked around town and beaches and had amazing food, and the place was clean, quiet, and cozy. Thank you to Joao who greeted us and showed us around when we arrived. Will stay here again if we get the chance!!

Great location

Very nice very modern apartment in a great location. It was about 2 minutes walk to Praca de Gil Eanes. I stayed for a week and had a great time. Had everything I needed.

Nice Stay

We rented this apartment for one week during our month long Portugal vacation. The apartment was very clean, efficient and worked well for us. The owner was great to deal with and communication was top notch. This is a perfect location if you want to explore the southern coast of the country. Staying within the walls of the city made for a quaint experience that was enjoyable. The apartment is conveniently located to many restaurants and shops.

Lagos 7 days stay

The appartment is located in the heart of Lagos. Very convenient to visit the old town. Beaches are also at a walking distance. Only inconvenience, for being downtown and also probably due to the summer period , some bars are not far and you can hear the bass, as well as the trafic and noisy evening celebrating people, but it does not last all night.

Of course, the peak Summer time is more noisy than the rest of the year. We have not experienced bass noise before so we will address that with the local authorities as there are strict noise rules in Portugal. Thank you for letting us know.

Algarve at it’s best

The apartment was very clean, spacious. and modern. Well situated in the old town. Close to restaurants, shops transport and beach. Great to have a washing machine when travelling for an extended period. Kitchen had everything we needed and very modern. Was met by building manager and shown around the unit. Large, confortable appartment in great location!

The apartment was very roomy, clean and within walking distance of many great restaurants and landmarks. We had everything we needed for our stay, a nicely equipped kitchen, a washing machine and free parking close by. The bed was comfortable. The only thing that was a bit bothersome was the security light outside the master bedroom window that kept turning on when people or cars went by, which illuminated the whole bedroom. A better, room darkening blind would be a nice addition!

Great Location in Lagos

Enjoyed our stay in Lagos and the location of this apartment was wonderful. We could walk to all the restaurants and attractions in the town of Lagos. Celia provided us with very detailed directions to the apartment and where to park. She even provided YouTube videos on how to operate the washing machine and dishwasher. We were also able to park for free near the city wall and take day trips to the other towns along the coast such as Sagres and Tavira. Definitely recommend this apartment if you want to stay in town. Lagos is a good base for traveling along the Algarve coast.

Fabulous Lagos Retreat!

This apartment was even better than advertised. It was clean, very well appointed, perfectly located just inside the old city wall but far enough from nightlife action that we were not bothered, and cloae enough to all the beaches that it never felt too long a walk or a chore to get there. In addition, just down the hill were fabulous restauranys, a very well equipped convenience store and a most fabulous bakery. The pharmacy is a few steps beyond these amenities and the staff there are wonderful too. 10 minutes walk above the apartment is a great grocery store, InterMarchē. In the house Celia provided a beach umbrella, beach chairs, shopping bags, just everything we needed. We highly recommend this VRBO.

This apartment was perfect for a 7 day stay in Lagos. It was very spacious, with lots of areas for seating. And it was very well equipped. The kitchen has enough coffee pods for a few days, was well stocked with various seasonings, and even had plastic wrap and foil. There were reusable water bottles to use, and chairs and other items to take to the beach. The location was central - only a 5 minute walk to the main square. We were a bit concerned about the remote parking lot, but it was only a 5 minute walk as well, and easy to manuever with suitcases, since it was relatively level. There were lots of options for English TV. There was a drawer full of games and books, including a couple of very informative books on the Algarve that we made good use of. The apartment looks exactly as the pictures show. I would definitely recommend this apartment if staying in Lagos.

The 2 bedroom apartment is exactly as pictured. Location is fantastic for all Lagos activities. Host is very responsive and helpful. Construction was identified as a possible source of noise in the fine print when booking. In February and March 2026 it was noisy on 5 or 6 days per week from 8am to 6pm (right beside the bedroom window) and some repairs were also going on in unit below us for a few days. This was not host's fault. It looks like the new building going up next door will not be finished for a few months. As a result of construction parts of the apartment's exterior space is closed up and unusable including the utility room and the small terrace off the kitchen resulting in less daylight and heightened noise. The new building is now higher than the rooftop terrace for this unit so that enjoying that will be affected too. Once it's all done it should be much better. Still a great spot!

Wonderful apartment in the middle of the best part of Lagos

This apartment is in the perfect location for a trip to Lagos. You can reach everything by foot within minutes (rather seconds :-) ). An organic store is around the corner, plenty of restaurants and small mini-markets where you can get your daily needs like fresh fruit, veggies, water, etc. It is very clean and also the kitchen equipment is top-notch. Beds are comfortable and we got a good sleep every night which was very important to us. Celia is a very friendly host, Joao was helpful if we needed anything. The communication upfront was perfect. There were just two little things that scratched on that 5th star a little bit. 1) The small bathroom is very clean and looked brand new, but the sink smelled a little bit in the morning if we didn't leave the window open. Also the shower doesn't have a holder for the shower-head, so you have to hold it in one hand while showering. And maybe another shelf to put some stuff on would be nice. 2) The apartment itself is not very well soundproofed. You can hear the upstairs neighbours walk and talk. We generally use earplugs to sleep so it didn't bother us most of the time. But if they decide to have dinner party, you will hear it. But still. We definitely recommend this place.

L'appartement convenait parfaitement à nos besoins: grand, propre et bien équipé, proximité du centre de Lagos. Petit balcon et chorale des oiseaux! L'accueil organisé avec Joao a été très utile. Recommandé sans hésitation!

Superbe appartement, idéalement situé

Magnifique appartement, situé dans un quartier calme en plein centre de Lagos. L'appartement est clair, lumineux, très propre, et comporte absolument tout ce que l'on a besoin. Nous avons beaucoup aimé manger sur la terrasse attenante à la cuisine, sans vue mais accompagnés par le cri des mouettes, très agréable. L'emplacement est idéal également, à la fois à l'écart du centre, mais on le rejoint en 2 mns à pied. Et...le fait de joindre de pouvoir Joao dès que l'on a un souci est un atout non négligeable : il est à l'écoute et très efficace ! En points négatifs (mais de bien moindre importance par rapport aux points positifs 😊), je dirais la mauvaise insonorisation qui fait que l'on entend ce que disent les gens qui passent dans la rue la nuit (mais il faut dire que l'on est habitué au calme absolu de la campagne ) et une autre chose, qu'il est simple de modifier : j'ai l'habitude de louer des appartements ou petites maisons, et je trouve toujours très agréable de trouver sur place l'huile, le vinaigre, le sel, le sucre, café, etc ...laissés par les précédents locataires. Ici, rien de tout cela et un seul rouleau de papier toilette : c'est du détail, mais qui je trouve fait que l'on se sent moins acueillis. Mais je recommande absolument ce superbe appartement ! !!!!

Nous vous remercions de votre examen complet. Tout d'abord, nous sommes ravis que vous ayez beaucoup apprécié votre séjour et que vous et votre fils vous aient passé de merveilleuses vacances. L'appartement se trouve dans un endroit très central, de sorte qu'il y aura des bruits habituels de la ville. Dans d'autres maisons de vacances que nous possédons, nous quittons le sel, le vinaigre, le poivre, l'huile, mais le gestionnaire de la propriété et la société de nettoyag e ont demandé que cela ne soit pas adapté aux normes qu'ils souhaitent conserver. Heureusement, il y a aussi beaucoup de magasins et de restaurants à proximité, j'espère que ce n'est pas un très gros problème. Cependant, il devrait y avoir plus de papier de toilette et je vais soulever cette plainte auprès de l'équipe de ménage et je vous remercie d'avoir attiré mon attention. Encore une fois, merci beaucoup pour votre avis et vos commentaires.

Jana and her husband stayed with us for a month on their first "adventure to Portugal". They were good guests and we would recommend them to other hosts. We admired their tenacity and commitment to independent travelling. We did feel that a resort managed apartment might suit them better for future trips rather than European self-catering apartments. We wish them many more enjoyable travel adventures.

Tolle Wohnung, sehr zentral. Sehr gute Betten und trotz der zentralen Lage sehr ruhig. Die Dachterrasse ist allerdings 3 Stockwerke höher, leider. Ansonsten alles super.
