Chalet exécutif de famille de style sur l'eau

Ce magnifique chalet en bois rond se trouve sur la rivière Fortune et moments d'une belle plage. La propriété est dans un état impeccable et a terminé avec toutes les commodités modernes. Ceci est un endroit merveilleux pour obtenir loin de tout, se détendre sur le pont et être en paix. salle de classe mondial, le golf, la pêche en haute mer et les plages sont tous à une courte distance en voiture.

Il y a 3 chambres: la chambre principale est très spacieuse avec un immense lit king size, salle de bain, coin salon et débrayage portes-fenêtres à la grande terrasse donnant sur la rivière. Les 2 autres chambres ont toutes deux 2 lits simples. Parfait pour les familles avec une deuxième salle de bain complète hors de la zone d'habitation principale. Vous allez adorer regarder la rivière depuis le pont et BBQ'ing dans la soirée. Vous pourrez également profiter de la cuisine et divertissant dans la cuisine à aire ouverte / salon / salle à manger avec foyer au propane.

Laveuse et sécheuse sont sur place, ainsi qu'un barbecue au propane. Toutes les serviettes et les draps sont inclus. Notre chalet est complètement prêt pour votre famille, vous aurez juste besoin de ramasser vos sacs d'épicerie.

Un kayak est disponible pour explorer la rivière - coucher du soleil palettes sont une façon incroyable la fin d'une journée glorieuse à l'Île.

Amazing cottage with amazing views

The cottage is spacious, clean and very well set up. In addition to the basics that make for a great stay we had access to kayaks, beach chairs & beach towels, games, books & puzzles.We couldn’t wait to get back and unwind after busy days touring the island. It was so cozy, comfortable and peaceful. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful vacation

We had a wonderful time in PEI staying at the cottage. It was a beautiful space and we loved watching the birds in the bay and exploring the nearby beach at low tide. We had absolutely no issues but knew that Dave would be happy to help if we did. Would definitely return!

Our stay in the property was great. The house was exactly as described. Very well equipped. Brent’s father Dave was very helpful and even got us lobsters for our final dinner. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Kid friendly

Our second time there! We love the property. We have three kids (4 year old, 2 year old and 9 month old) and it is so kid friendly! The nearby beach access is wonderful and plenty of room for the little ones to play. The property manager is friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Beautiful well kept cottage about 10mins. From Souris and 20mins from national park. Local Beach with in walking distance. Used the kakaks in the local bay right in front of cottage.

Peaceful retreat

This peaceful spot on the river has walkable access to the ocean and is and easy access to everything east of Charlottetown. The cottage is beautiful and the hosts warm and attentive. Despite several days of rain our trip was delightful -- whether adventuring for hikes or reading novels by the stove.

Great views, great cottage, lovely booking experience

Lovely cottage ... house, really, appointed better than our own home, in some ways. King bed was amazingly comfortable. Windows all around made for a bright and cheary interior. And beautiful deck with marvelous views of Fortune Bay. Booking with owner was easy. Well worth the trip!

Perfect Getaway

Stayed for 1 week in early June. Absolutely loved the cottage. It had everything you could need so was very comfortable. Dave was there to greet us, check us in, and even offered to cook us a pair of lobsters! He even had suggestions for what local spots to check out and his advice did not disappoint. Great place, would recommend, and will stay again.

Thanksgiving Wedding

This property was immaculate. Very spacious, modern kitchen , fully equipped with every utensil if you are inclined to cook. One of our days was rainly and cool , the propane fireplace was cozy. I bòoked for a wedding that was close by. My husband, and my adult children . They absolutely loved it, and want to book themselves to stay for next summer. This place is truly a gem.

Wish we had stayed longer

What a gem this place is! The house was a perfect place for me, my kids and their spouses, six of us fit really well and everybody could find a space to be alone if they wanted it. All you need to cook and entertain or come back to after exploring. Dave was an incredible contact, very responsive, knowledgeable and friendly and gave us great tips on things to do. We had an amazing lobster dinner thanks to him, the kids will talk about that for a while :). Definitely recommend.

Should get 6 stars for the level of provisioning

In addition to all the other wonderful comments I was so surprised and pleased with level of provisioning. I love to cook especially when there is so much wonderful seafood to buy from the wharf. Absolutely everything I could have wanted was there. I would mention if you don’t plan to cook that local restaurants close much earlier than I am used to. We just planned accordingly. Thanks for you hospitality.

Perfect for a Family Stay in PEI!

My husband and I and our four children ages 2 through 9 spent a week at this wonderful cottage. The wood interior and furnishings are beautiful, the kitchen well equipped, good laundry machines, lots of towels, and the whole place was very clean. The two bedrooms with the two twin beds plus the Master bedroom was a great layout for us all to get some sleep. The owner and his family were very pleasant and gave us some good pointers on visiting the area. They also let us use their kayaks and the quiet waters allowed for my 9 year old to paddle his own kayak for the first time! We enjoyed the many beaches in the region including the local "front beach" which is just around the corner from the cottage. We cooked meals in the cottage and also enjoyed a number of nice restaurants in Souris and neighbouring towns. We stopped in at a local ceilidh one evening which was a lot of fun too - not to mention the fishing tour with MacNeill's! This cottage is a wonderful place to stay in the east end of PEI with lots to enjoy.

Relaxing stay in beautiful clean cottage

It was cold and rainy when we arrived - fireplace was on when we walked in and it was very inviting !! We were 2 couples - one stayed in master bedroom with ensuite and the other side of cottage had 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds each - with another bathroom for those 2 bedrooms to share. It was nice to have 2 separate sleeping areas, and the living room, kichen and dining room were a great shared space. We especially enjoyed sitting around the fire and playing games at the table. Brent's father Dave purchased and cooked lobster for us one day - best, freshest lobster we've ever had !! What a wonderful experience!!!! (fortunately we were there in lobster season - June). We had some chats with Dave who is very personable and a joy to visit with - answered all our PEI questions 😀 All communication with Brent was always answered very quickly. There are kayaks available, but weather too cold and windy while we were there. We would book again without hesitation!! We all loved staying there !!

Lovely place to stay

Great location to relax! We loved the beach nearby (2 min drive). The owner’s were so nice to our kids, even gave them toys to play with. We will definitely be looking to stay again :)

Great Stay

Spent three nights here while doing some work on the island. The house was in a lovely, quiet location with beautiful views of the Fortune River. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean. Would definitely return.

Exactly as pictured and described but even better. Beautiful location on the river, fully equipped kitchen, plenty of towels and spacious areas. Great place for morning walks- quiet among farm land or on the beach., spotlessand plenty of privacy. Can not recommend this property enough

Everything about this rental was excellent: well equipped kitchen, extensive decks, overlooking water, comfortable/modern furnishings, beautifully groomed gardens, separated bedroom areas giving couples privacy, modern bathrooms, great location, all the staples in the kitchen…An ideal Rental!

Incredible experience all around

The photos online do not do this home justice. It is absolutely beautiful. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Dave who became advisor and cook as well 😁 Dave made some suggestions as to where to go, what to do, found us some fresh lobster and even cooked them for us!! The place was incredibly clean and about a 10 minute drive into town. Can't imagine how much more remarkable this stay would have been if the weather was warmer! Thank you to the Aiken family, Brent, Dave and Kent for making our first time in PEI an unforgettable one. We will definitely be back... but looks like maybe 2024 when you have an open spot 😁

Fortune is truly an amazing place and there is no better way to enjoy a relaxing vacation. The beach is beautiful and you'll often have it to yourself. World class dining and golfing for the more ambitious days. The joy of doing nothing but watching the river float by.
