Perfect for family reunion

The layout of this house is prefect for a family reunion. There were 9 of us. All the adults had their own bedroom with a bath and the 2 kids each had a full sized bed in another room. There were some maintenance issues but those were addressed as soon as the owners were made aware of them.

Amazing Views!

We picked this Villa because of the amenities, the size and the views (doesn't everyone?). It came through in shining colors on all fronts. Our party was an extended family of ourselves and our adult children. Our kids are just getting to the age of having their own kids and this was perfect for this stage of our lives. Pickleball tournaments, hot tub and sauna and lots of great food, time on the multiple dacks and staging for the many things Steamboat has to share. Tom Ball (the owner) was very solicitous and we had access to many things that don't typically come with units like this. The Suburban was a special treat...as we could cram in the entire family for certain excusions, or just load up tubes for the river. The views are AMAZING. They do have a cap on numbers at 10, so we had to shift around a kid or two with friends to keep at the cap when we had my daughter's boyfriend join us for a couple nights. We have a large family (7 adult kids...one married and pregnant), so as our numbers increase, we are probably limited in the future...which makes us sad. Its a great place!

Great Stay, Great Communication

Owners are very responsive, and the accommodations are great. Convenient to both the resort, downtown, and the big box stores in-between. It's so nice having everything within basically 5 minutes of your door. This was our first visit to Steamboat Springs and we will be back, hopefully at the same property! About the only thing the owners could do better is to install oxygen at the top of the stairs for those of us coming from sea level! Phew!

Beautiful House with incredible views

Our stay was a real enjoyment at this beautiful property with great views. There have been several updates in the house that made the stay very convenient. We had a couple of issues but the property manager and the owner jumped right in and got it handled to the best of their ability. I would highly recommend others come enjoy the property.

Spring Skiing

My family of 5 plus grandma stayed here for Spring Break. The place is conveniently located for skiing, and having access to a car was a great bonus. The property manager and owner were in contact before we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this place. We had plenty of room. It is very comfortable and has great views of the valley.

Amazing place to stay for a big family

We had a great time staying here. There was plenty of room for everyone and it was great having space to play in the snow outside. Everything was easy from check in to check out. The view of the mountain was awesome as well. We would stay here again!

Family Ski Trip Week New Years Eve

The property exceed all our expectations. The place was beautiful, clean and accommodated all 10 of us exceptionally well. We used all the amenities including the fireplace, hot tub, sauna and the Suburban. The townhome is close to the base, but having access to the Suburban was awesome. We would stay here again for sure

Christmas in Steamboat

This was our 2nd time staying at this property and we had a lovely time. The home is very convenient to the slopes and it is a great place to stay with family or friends. The rooms are comfortable and bathrooms clean. We enjoyed using the fireplace and had a wonderful stay over the holiday week. We hope to return in the future.

Perfect for a big family!

We had a fantastic stay over the 4th of July week! This house is perfect for a big family with 5 bedrooms, 4 of which have king-size beds, and a 5th bedroom with two full-size beds. It allowed everyone to have their own space and then the main floor had lots of room for us to gather as a family. The tennis/pickleball court was great for the kids to play on and the house has incredible views of the mountain and the valley. The house is fully stocked, making it an easy transition from home. And having access to a 4x4 suburban is the chef's kiss. We will likely be coming back, and I recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to stay in Steamboat!

Perfect space for family / couples

Wonderful and well-stocked home for those who like to cook. Was the perfect place for our group of 10, which included 4 couples and 2 children. 4 king beds with en suite bathrooms made everyone feel like they were in the primary bedroom. Beautiful views of the mountain and a 5 minute drive to gondola square.

Great house in great location

House is great, only a very short drive away from the free parking. The included Suburban was also a really great amenity - as we only needed one rental car for the group. Everything is in great shape, rooms, hot tub, sauna, kitchen. Well equipped as well. I would try to book it again if we come back with the group. The communication with owner and property manager was great as well! Thank you for making our vacation awesome!

Great Steamboat Stay

This is a really great stay. The place was clean, well stocked in the kitchen, nice towels and comfortable beds. The hot tub is clean and nice with outstanding views of the mountain. The Suburban vehicle is a really nice bonus and is in great shape. You really feel comfortable and at home. We had 6 adults in our group and it was very spacious and comfortable. Communication with Tom was easy and responsive. There isn't one thing to say on how this could be better because it was perfect.

Winter wonderland

Perfect for multiple couples/large family

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location is perfect, super close & convenient to grocery stores and the base of the mountain, with gorgeous views of Mt. Werner. We were in town for a friend's wedding, so multiple couples stayed at the home. The various levels in the house kept everyone's sleep areas pretty private, with a generous living space on the main level. Would hands-down recommend and will definitely book again if we have a large group traveling to Steamboat!

Love This House!

We really had a wonderful time in this rental. Plenty of beds and baths, well stocked with paper products, cleaners, spices, shampoo etc. Tremendous view of the slopes and the Fireworks (Bonus) on the weekend we got there! Lots of firewood for the wood burning fireplace. Having the use of the Suburban was a huge plus as this home is not on a shuttle run and actually a money saver for us because we did not have to rent a vehicle. The private hot tub and sauna were enjoyed by the adults in the group and help eased our ski aches.

Terrific family vacation

Beautiful home with spectacular views of the ski hill and valley. Our family enjoyed the wood burning fireplace, hot tub and bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Having use of the vehicle made it easy to visit the Steamboat area with the whole group.

Tom and Mary Ball reside in Austin, Texas. Tom is a successful insurance agent and Mary donates much of her time to several local charities. They have two children. Vacationing in Steamboat Springs is a family tradition for the Ball Family and they invite you to make your own family vacation memories in their home.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I spent my honeymoon in Steamboat Springs; my wife and I fell in love with the area and decided to purchase property in Colorado. We purchased the land in 1979 and completed the building of the Villa in 1985. This is our 2nd home and we spend at least 5 weeks per year vacationing in Steamboat Springs and enjoy sharing the Villa with our guests.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

In addition to the beautiful Mountain and valley Views, the House is fully appointed as a Private home. The sauna and the hot tub are both located on the first floor. Due to the unique Style of the home, a starry night is always viewable from the Hot Tub area. Each private room has it's own Balcony and a view of the Mountain Ski runs and Yampa Valley. Summers are mild in the area and there is no need for air conditioning. The private Tennis court is available during the summer but you will have to bring your own rackets and tennis balls. The home is less than 5 minutes from a local shopping center, less than 5 minutes to the Gondala and 10 minutes from the Downtown area. Fish Creek Falls is one of the most spectacular views in Steamboat Springs during the spring/summer along with the local botanical gardens.
