The view is everything!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The deck of this condo is spectacular. Every morning we watched the sunrise with our coffee and were astonished at the view. Great snorkeling right out in front of the condo. The pool is pristine! We loved our housekeeper Paty and the maintenance man Carlos. Augustin kept everything running wonderfully. Any glitches we had were promptly fixed. Highly recommend! We'll be back! It does need icecube trays and some sort of oven safe bakeware, but otherwise very well stocked for pleasant vacation. The bed is quite firm. We had a fabulous time!

Fantastic Condo!

We absolutely loved this condo! We were there strictly just to relax and have some peace and quiet. the staff was right there anytime we needed it, but also left us alone to enjoy our privacy. We had the top unit and the views were to die for! It was extremely clean, nice towels and linens and the beds were super comfortable! We would 100% stay there again.

Very nice place, tropical and classy, beautiful views

The condo was really nice. The bay was beautiful and good for snorkeling. We had some sargazo issues half the time we were there, but that's to be expected. It seemed to collect right in front of our condo in the bay, so we had to walk down the beach a little bit to get in the water. Not a problem. In august, the water is like a hot bath, but that's also to be expected. We stayed in the penthouse, 4 flights of stairs gave us a workout. Both of the bedrooms have an ocean view deck in the center units, that was the main selling point. The only real drawback has to do with the surrounding neighborhood. Everything closes no later than 9pm, Everything. It's crazy. It's a great low key couples or loner place, but if you want any kind of night life, stay in Playa. We wanted to stay in between Tulum and Playa, and close to cenotes, so we chose Akumal. Playa del Carmen was fine, Tulum kinda sucked. The cenotes near by were a nice cool respite from the warm ocean waters. Would I come back to Akumal? Probably not, but not because of the Playa Caribe, it was really nice. However, we qshould have stayed on a lower floor. One thing to note: we tried to contact both of the contacts on the info sheet in the condo via Whatsapp as recommended, but they never responded.

Where Vacation Becomes Reality

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you’ve been searching for a tranquil beachfront place to stay near Aukumal, stop searching and book this beautiful condo. We arrived to a welcoming crew who anticipated us checking in. The crew then asked to help with our luggage and packed it up the three flights of stairs for us with a smile on their face. The condo was spotless and well equipped with kitchen goods. The large balcony with comfortable seating was hard to leave. The sunrise from the bed and the sunset from the rooftop was magic every time. There are a handful of local restaurants that serve excellent food. There are also a couple of tourist gift shops. We rented a golf cart through the concierge service at Aukumal Direct and appreciated the ride to get to dinner and home again as the street is a bit dark and uneven. Although there are plenty of people who walk. The bay was a bit hard to access as there is larger chunks of coral. The swimming pool was refreshing. The beach lounges and the sound and smell of the salty air relaxes all your worries away. Enjoy your stay there. We slept like babies in the comfortable beds. Thank you for everything!

Another amazing stay in Half Moon Bay! The views from the condo are stunning! We had a fantastic Christmas week! The condo is clean & has everything you need! Property management is very accommodating. I would highly recommend this unit ♥️ see you next year!!

A-may-zing!

Playa caribe condo 11 was an amazing stay! First off. The. View. Whao. It was in the literal center of half moon bay, so we were in the middle of everything! The local restaurants were so yummy and amazing priced! Yal-ku and Dos Ojos were amazing adventures and the contact email answered all my questions for our adventures. Th3 cobdo itself was clean, the sheets were super soft. Staff were all so nice. I couldnt have asked for a better first visit to Alumal!

Breathtaking

Property was amazing! Exactly what was in the photos if not better. When you opened the door you knew you were in paradise! Location was ideal and everything was within walking distance. Some seaweed on the beach but that didn't deter us enjoy all that Alkumal had to offer. We want to thank our cleaning lady for the terrific job and attention to detail. We will definitely return to Alkumal!

Pool was clean and quiet. Very good location between La Lunita and La Buena Vida. Easy bike ride to Akumal. Someone was always posted outside at night, felt safe enough to sleep with the bedroom door open to hear the ocean sounds. Best sleep ever!

Place was great! Would stay again!

Property was clean and tidy. We enjoyed the fresh fruit that was placed in fruit bowl. Did have an issue with ants but it was taken care of within 24 hours. No one was there to greet us, nor was their anyone onsite. We were a little unsure of how to get in or where to park but ended up figuring it out. Once inside the view took our breathe away. Description and pictures were accurate. Plenty of towels and supplies. Brochure was very much appreciated as well!

Relaxation in Paradise

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderfully appointed space. Probably the best view of the bay. Not far from eating and play. The concierge at Akumal-direct, David was fantastic. Anything I needed he took care of with haste. The only downside was that we were on the 4th floor and there as no elevator. But by the end of the week it actually wasn’t that bad. I’d advise for anyone traveling to Akumal that less is more. The whole area was wonderfully laid back. We are already planning our next visit.

Beautiful condo in a really safe feeling area, with kind and accomodating staff on-site. Sargassum stopped us from using the beach much, but we swam in Yal-ku Lagoon and there was no sargassum there, plus there are nearby cenotes. The deck was a highlight and the breeze generally kept the smell of the sargassum from overwhelming us while on the deck. It was very quiet and you can hear the ocean while you sleep. All the beds are very firm, a bit too much so for my family, but would stay there again.

Great homebase in Riviera Maya

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the small town vibe of Akumal. The central location made it easy to travel up and down the Riviera Maya and inland to various Mayan ruins. It's obvious that Half Moon Bay is breathtaking in Fall/Winter, but the bay was overrun with Sargassum in May. We knew this going into the trip and found plenty of non-beach activities to keep us busy. We still managed to swim everyday, whether in cenotes, lagoons, or the pool. The condo was clean, well maintained, and stocked with all of the essentials. We appreciated the housekeeping service offered at Condo Caribe. The only room for improvement was with the hot water; most days we had to let the water run for 15 mins to get warm or just take a cold shower. That being said, we would happily return to Half Moon Bay and Condo Caribe.
