The house is located in a very beautiful and quiet area surrounded by lemon plantations and small mountains. The pool area is really nice with a wooden terrace and shaded areas - but is a bit too small if there are three families at the same time. But we almost didn't get to experience that.
There is only one room in the house with an open upper floor, which got very hot at night because there is only AC in the lower room. We got a fan though and that helped a bit. The kitchen is a bit scratchy but works. Lovely sun terrace. The area is ok for excursions with approximately 15 minutes by car to the nearest beach. Very few tourists even in July. The caretaker Emilio is very nice and helpful with all questions. WIFI did not work at any time and it is a shame because the mobile signal is very poor in the area. We give the place four and a half stars.
We stayed at Agricontura's for two nights in January and it is a trip we will remember forever. Where to begin? The property is idyllic - a wonderful garden of different plants, a patio area, a real haven to relax in every evening.
We tasted their local breakfast, everything is made from hand and is local.
It is also worth mentioning that when he found 20degree at our arrival, in January.. INCREDIBLE.
We really hope to return in summer, it was such a wonderful holiday and we immediately felt at home. What a wonderful experience! Grazie mille, Federico!
We spent two weeks in a villa and enjoyed visiting NorthEast Sicily as well as Aeolian Islands. The place is quiet and yet just 5-10 min away (by car) from the nearby town and motorway. We tried local olive oil and it was veeeery good. That was the last week of September plus first week of October sso evenings and nights were pleasantly cool.
Ciro and Marie Therese were fantastic and we loved Suzie and the puppies. The house is lacking some basic cooking implements and facilities, but we managed OK. No washing machine nor WiFi, Again this did not affect us. Definitely need a car as main sites are some distance away.
A lovely property set amongst lemon and olive trees . An ideal size for two , and the shared pool was an advantage. Friendly caretaker. Small additions/improvements to kitchen equipment and outdoor furniture could make a big difference.
The Paparoni's family put their heart, soul and creativity into this wonderful compound of 3 separated houses (concerning the upper side of the farm). No detail was spared in there renovation, yet the vibe and feel of the history of the rural life. I HIGHLY recommend this property and wish everyone could experience and enjoy such a magical place.
The farm is great, the pool, the garden, jasmine flowers blossoming, orange and lemon trees everywhere, we couldn't asked more.
The house is standard but perfect for what we were looking for
The location is perfect for many excursions.
We also tasted the Olive oil produced by the owner Federico, was amazing, we brought home with us.
