Détendez-vous dans une belle maison au bord du lac située sur le grand lac Tsala Apopka à Hernando, en Floride. Cette maison est décorée professionnellement dans le style cottage / shabby chic et est chaleureuse, accueillante et romantique. Tous les articles et meubles de décoration intérieure sont en vente dans un magasin de décoration intérieure, Velvet Cabbage!

Profitez de superbes couchers de soleil depuis le pont supérieur ou le patio donnant sur le lac. Il y a un quai couvert pour votre bateau ou simplement pêcher sur le quai et vous détendre avec le rythme lent de la vie en Floride.

Canoë, kayak et pédalo disponibles pour utilisation, un adulte de plus de 18 ans doit être à bord.

Cela fait partie de l'ancienne Floride, qui a des sources naturelles et des arbres couverts de mousse. De nombreux parcs de sources naturelles sont situés à moins d'une heure de route. Profitez des lamantins, de la pêche et de la faune. C'est absolument magnifique. 29 minutes de Rainbow Springs et 20 minutes de Crystal River, Three Sisters Springs

La piste cyclable d'État Withlacoochee se trouve à 1,6 km de la maison et couvre 46 miles de beauté en Floride.

La maison est située à une heure de Disney World et à 1,5 heures de Tampa. Il est assez proche des attractions de la Floride mais loin de la circulation et de la foule. Il existe de nombreux terrains de golf situés à proximité et dont certains parcours de championnat.

C'est l'endroit parfait pour une semaine ou un mois. Renseignez-vous sur un rabais de location mensuel; échappez au froid de l'hiver et venez en Floride pour bien moins qu'une chambre d'hôtel.

Relaxing lake house

Stayed for 7 days. Very relaxing, cozy, quiet place right on the lake. Perfect sunsets would definitely recommend and would stay again. Fun, simple activities around the towns and some good antiquing if you’re into that.

Really enjoyed the lake and the house, it really has that great cozy fish camp feel. It’s a quiet area even with the boats on the lake over the weekend, it feels like summer. Owner responded well to all questions and communication. The house was clean and comfortable. To top it off we got to see the bats at sunset leaving it’s house on the boat dock.

Beautiful Sunsets

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lake house in Hernando. It's a bird watcher and fisherman's paradise. It was so relaxing. The sunsets were amazing and we enjoyed watching the bats come out of the bat house (on the dock) after sunset each evening. Highly recommend.

Excellent place to stay

We had a great week staying at this house! The listing was accurate with regards to the photos. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The interior living room and kitchen was vintage (in a good sense), while there were upgrades of the fridge and appliances. Bathrooms were updated. Exterior was good, with the dock being a highlight. We enjoyed the swing on the dock and watching the sunset. It was so nice having the kayaks and paddle boat. Even though the area may seem isolated, there were a lot of varied activities to participate in, especially State forests and hiking trails. Beautiful beaches are about 30 minutes away. Overall it was exactly as pictured and highly recommended.

Far enough away but still close to necessities

Pretty good stay. Old Florida feel. Was nice getting out on the boat for some good large mouth bass fishing. Good food close by. Would visit here again.

Kayaking and Biking at your Fingertips

This is a beautiful property on a lovely lake. The home is well-cared for with many personal touches which makes this place a real find! We brought our personal kayaks and bikes. We thoroughly enjoyed kayaking on the lake and using the Withlacoochee Bike Trail nearby.

Great place, beautiful sunsets, amazing lake. The only observation, suggestion is that the outside of the property were somehow unattended, looking abandoned, not taking care of. But overall very nice. Thank you👍😀

Good spot for close to Rainbow Springs

It was a nice older home. Location was pretty but the road was a little rough close to the home. Neighbors were pleasant. Beds were in need of new mattresses and a little more support but that’s the only real complaint.

Lakefront House in Hernando was really special

This property was everything the listing described. The house is reminiscent of old Florida, decorated in shabby chic style and is so bright, comfortable and homey. The pictures in the listing are very accurate. We especially enjoyed the beautiful sunsets that we could view from the patio and the paddle boat which we used many times. The owners were very responsive to any questions I asked and sent their repair person immediately when there was an issue with the dishwasher. I would recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a relaxing, picturesque place to spend a vacation in Florida.

Loved it!

We took our little fishing boat so the covered boat slip was a real bonus. Know the owners want to run electric to it soon for lights and outlets. Loved the little carport to keep leaves and moss and rain from getting on our truck. The rooms are larger than they appear in the photos, quite spacious and comfortable. The older home has had some great remodeling and decorating. We wanted to rent again same time next year but someone else beat us to it, darn.

Lovely location and house: just needs tlc

We loved the lake and quirky house but somethings need a little attention couldn’t turn on dock light or Fireplace... kitchen microwave breaking.... no gas for the barbecue grill…...thread bare sheets... also, the local and back up contacts, did not return phone calls to us, so no help. Enjoyed working with and communicating with the homeowners, did enjoy our stay. Gary

Shabby Chic Decorated Home with water view.

We thoroughly enjoyed the few days we spent at this property. My son, our chef, was very impressed with the kitchen.He had every pot and pan, bowl, and baking dish he needed to prepare meals. The house was very clean and orderly. The beds were comfortable and cozy. As the host stated, the floorplan has a lot of steps to manuever and I would not recommend it to anyone who has mobilty or balance issues. I rented this because it had a canoe, kayak and paddle boat available to use. Unfortunately, the 40 degree temperatures did not make water sports a good idea. Despite having to cross watersports off our schedule we had a very nice stay.

House was clean, very roomy and bright. I loved the shabby chic decor. House was stocked with most things needed. owner was responsive to communication. We liked the location, close to Iverness, Homosassa and Crystal river but still very rural and private location. I did not care for the security cameras on the patio and out front. Apparently the Owner does check to make sure there are no undeclared guests. The master bedroom is located over a damp basement that is not ventilated. There was a definite mildew/basement smell that came up through the floor under the bed in that room.

Old and needs up date. The lights on the dock did not work . The cold water in sink in our bathroom did not work. The laundry room was a disaster. The rug kitchen was falling apart. Need to fix the screen door. The lake toys room was the worst .

Nice, but..

The property was in a nice location, on a lake with great views, and in a quiet neighborhood. The house itself was clean, but the kitchen utensils, drawers and A/C filters could have been in better condition. The biggest issue was that 3 large dogs showed up while we were outside with our dog, who was tethered to a tree. The dogs were friendly, but surrounded our dog, which made him uncomfortable. After going inside, the dogs returned and came up to the sliding doors, which agitated our dog again. We had wanted to explore the area and go out for meals, but didn't feel comfortable leaving our dog alone in the house. So, instead of staying for the 2 nights we had booked, we left after one night.

There were some distinct pros and cons to this property. PROS. 1. This is a lovely, lovely, peaceful setting. From inside and out, there is a big view of lake and sky. 2. The house is comfortable and well equipped. 3. Dogs are allowed, but the house is not full of prior dogs' hair as is often the case in dog friendly properties. nice big lawn for the dog to play. CONS: 1. As noted in the advertisement, and mentioned in other reviews, this house is in Florida, with a partially underground (basement) storage area. This means it smells musty, and there was also mildew in main bedroom shower. This is not a house for those with any sensitivities to dust/mildew/mold. Two people had to use inhalers during the stay. 2. As noted, there are security cameras. What is not noted is that the owner can and does monitor the cameras and one of them is right above the area that most renters will spend their time, the outdoor patio. We found it creepy to have our morning coffee, happy hours, meals, etc. monitored. We think there is a reasonable expectation of privacy in primary gathering areas, even if they are outside -- that privacy is not afforded here.
