Juste étape par la porte arrière de votre 2 chambres 1 salle de bain cabine et profiter d'une vue imprenable sur le lac, ou sauter à droite dans le lac et profiter d'une journée de plaisir et d'excitation ... votre plage est de sable et peu profonde près de la rive, mais beaucoup de profondeur au bout du quai pour votre bateau. Louer un bateau, paddle board ou jet ski, à la marina à proximité et faire un tour de notre lac 2600 acres, attraper votre dîner et profiter de frais lac Perch, doré ou Bass ... quand son temps pour se détendre soit venir à l'intérieur et profiter de votre cabine confortable ou de se asseoir par le feu de camp ... vous décidez. Idéalement situé entre Grand Rapids et Kalamazoo. Location saisonnière hebdomadaire ou mensuelle avec samedi check-in. Couchage pour 6-8 de la climatisation centrale, câble et services Internet. Although the weather was uncooperative, my family, friends, and I had a great week here.

We swam, kayaked, boated, grilled out and enjoyed s’mores over the fire pit. Of course, we enjoyed cooking and eating together and even used the A/C for a bit here and there. The location is superb! Barry was extremely communicative when we had a question for him. We had a great time!

Great place with beautiful view of lake

House clean, everything you would need. Loved the location and the ability to playin clear water. We rented a pontoon and only problem no cleat to anchor to deck, but we were creative and found a way! Barry is great to work with, neighbors were nice.

Very nice and relaxing stay. Had a couple of small problems that the owner took care of. The water was a bit murky but very refreshing. About 30 yards out it was kind of mucky. The swim platform was good for sunning and boat/people watching.

Great week at the lake

Loved the camp everything we needed was there. Plenty of room for the kids and adults. We would have loved a small beach for the kids but having the state park so close by made up for that. The only down side was the ducks made the floating mat unusable. The kids didn't mind as they loved jumping off the dock. Overall it was a wonderful week

Everything you need!

House was clean and included all of the kitchen and bath items you could think of! Barry was very responsive and easy to work with. One neighbor doesn't seem to appreciate having a rental next door as he wasted no time in laying down the rules within 5 minutes of our arrival. Everyone else around was very friendly!

Perfect spot!

I took my daughter, two grandkids and a three yr old black lab to this sweet cottage. We had a great stay! Owner has provided well with plenty of towels, life-jackets. Kitchen well-equipped for all you would ever need! The location is perfect with just steps to the water! Two kayaks are available, my 14 yr old grandson loved kayaking daily with his dog by his side! We rented a pontoon boat one day and enjoyed seeing all of beautiful Gun Lake ! I had several questions prior to our arrival and owner was prompt to reply! We would not hesitate to return!

Nice week

We had a very enjoyable week at this property. Being so close to the lake was awesome. Being there a week we brought a lot of food with us and found that the refrigerator and freezer had quite a bit of food in them, leaving less room for our stuff. Other than that, this is a very cozy and clean cottage. PS, always turn off the outside lights when you go to bed, the neibors dont like the bright lights on at night.

Nice cottage and great location

We rented this cottage for 6 weeks while our nearby home was being remodeled. Me, wife, daughter, and dog. Nice roomy two bedroom cottage 50 feet within the water's edge. Amazing views. Sandy bottom lake with gradual drop-off is great for swimming and other water sports. Neighbors on both sides are very nice, polite, quiet, and respectful. Lots to do in the immediate area. Deep lake mountain bike trail is awesome and only 5 minutes away. Great hiking trails too. Barry is a good landlord. He will do his best to accommodate any needs and is very responsive. This cottage rental is a very good value.

Cozy and nostalgic

Small, cozy little cottage with a nostalgic feel. Nothing complicated, just the simple lake life of days past. Lots of lakeside windows to open and let the lake breeze drift through the house all day and there's nothing like the sound of the water gently lapping at the shore to ease the stress. Had everything we needed. Had one minor plumbing issue pop up, but a quick call to the owner and he had a professional over to fix it same day with almost no invasiveness and no hassles to speak of. Owner was very pleasant to work with and generous with his time when I had questions. This place grew on us very quickly and we were all very sad to leave. Definitely give it a shot of you are looking for quiet and cozy.

I couldnt have been more happy.

My aunt used to live on this lake but now lives south on Faun Lake. I have a lot of memories on this lake and love to extend those memories to my whole family. Oh and the fishing, we caught so much! Thanks Barry!!!

Wonderful little house

We completely enjoyed everything about this wonderful property. It is exactly as advertised, extremely clean and comfortable. The orientation on the lake is ideal - offering calm water and beautiful sunsets.

Very relaxing and cozy

Really enjoyed staying at the property. House was clean and in a great location. Lake very close to back yard with great view. A friend told me about VRBO but stayed at a different house and the lake was about 100 yards a way which was a pain when they were dragging canoes from house. Owner easily contact and gave great info on food and activities in the area. There is a corner store and Sandy’s Country Kitchen within walking distance. Sandys has killer Bbq on Saturday.

Perfect Getaway!

Very cute, clean cottage! The location was perfect, with great location to really good food! Beautiful shallow, sandy bottom water with excellent views. Very peaceful location as well. The cottage had everything we needed as well. We can’t wait to go again and stay longer!

Very pleased!

Overall we had a very nice time. The home was exactly what we expected. Access to the lake was awesome. The neighbors to the left were very outgoing and helpful. We unfortunately had to cut our stay short, family issues, but the time that we did spend on the lake we made great use of.

Middleville Gem

We rented this cottage for a weekend because it was so close to our daughter’s wedding venue. It was perfect! It had everything we needed and we felt right at home. The bed was especially comfortable! We wish we had more time to enjoy the beautiful lake! We would definitely like to come back in the summer when we can enjoy it. It was also a bonus that our dog had a comfy, peaceful place to stay while we were at the wedding! Thanks for a great stay Barry!

Great place to bring your kids/grandkids!

We really enjoyed our week at Point of View cottage! Everything we needed was generously provided. It's on a great part of Gun Lake, perfect for kids because it's shallow and sandy. Our grandkids, ages 8 and 6 3/4, loved the floating mat and raft and catching fish off the dock. They also loved the bunk beds! The bed In the master bedroom was extremely comfortable. We saw ducks, swans and a blue heron. The view is spectacular! All our worries melted away! Thank you, Paxton Family, for sharing your cottage!

Awesome lakefront property!

Barry's home was perfect for our 4th of July vacation. His home is clean and had everything we needed. He was responsive to questions and made every effort to make our stay enjoyable. Definitely would rent his home again for another trip to beautiful Gun Lake!

Great Lake view, right on the water

This cottage is exactly what we were looking for. Relaxing, great view right on the water, near a state park, and not too far of a drive from metro detroit. We have never stayed on Gun lake, it is a large, beautiful lake that exceeded our expectations. The owner was very accommodating,we would highly recommend staying here.

By far, the nicest cottage we have ever stayed in for vacation!

We were very impressed with how well the cottage was supplied w/everything we needed, from cooking, to sleeping, cleaning (great having a dishwasher!). The view of the lake from the patio doors was incredible! Made you just want to stay outside more! Loved the kayaks: I think we all tried them out. Eating our meals by the windows with views of the lake was great. Plenty of sleeping space for us all to sleep well. The fishing could have been better but at least we could all fish from the dock, especially Frankie, our 4 yr. old nephew who caught the very first fish! We enjoyed having a bonfire our last night, especially seeing sooooooo many stars in the clear sky. We came home with many great memories to share for years to come.
