It was a great unique place to stay for our family.
We wanted something different when staying in Charleston and we got that by staying on a yacht. Kids loved the fact that that got to stay on a boat vs a regular hotel room. Dan was great to work with and he made the whole experience easy.
Dan was an excellent host. The yacht was lovely! It was wonderful to spend time relaxing on the deck with the sounds of birds and gentle breezes. Location is excellent for visiting Charleston... Everywhere we went was within 20 minutes. Great value for the money. Would stay there again.
We were looking for a unique experience and The Legacy certainly delivered! The boat was spacious, clean, and beautiful. Dan was amazing host and greeted us at the boat. Highly recommend!
Our family of four enjoyed a spring break trip to Charleston, and the novelty of staying in the marina on a beautiful boat made it extra special! Dan was a great communicator throughout our stay. The accommodations were nice - if a bit tight for our teenage kiddos. A few kinks with the plumbing in the bathrooms were addressed quickly as best as they could be. We really enjoyed our stay!!
Beautiful yacht. Very comfortable and clean and great location. We walked to the historic district but the marina has a shuttle to town. Captain Dan was great. He took us on a bay cruise and gave us lots of suggestions for sightseeing. Great trip.
We enjoyed our stay so much on the Liberty. What a beautiful yacht. Such a refreshing change to the norm and so fun! Captain Dan is the nicest, most helpful host. Thanks Captain Dan!
Loved our two night stay on the Legacy. We were warmly welcomed and offered helpful tips on what to do and where to go. The boat was convenient to all the sights and a great escape from the bustle at the end of the day. We had lots of fun and slept great. What a unique way to visit a new city!
Had a great experience with Captain Dan. He was very communicative and helpful with the check-in process, showing us the boat controls, dock facilities, etc. The boat itself was clean and comfortable and had plenty of room for a few extra visitors for evening cocktails. Fantastic location right off Lockwood and proximity to local favorite Salty Mike's. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to make another trip out of it ourselved.
Captain Dan was a pleasure to meet and gave us a short tour upon arrival. The yacht was everything described and the reviews are 100% accurate. A must for anyone looking to do something completely different and just want to relax! Bed was extremely comfortable!
My wife and i wanted a unique place to stay for a weekend get away. This was an excellent idea. Dan was extremely attentive to all our needs and the boat was awesome. I especially loved having morning coffee on the upper deck area. My wife and I were very impressed by the comfy bed and beautiful view. Docked a quick walk to the parking deck was an added convenience.
Dan was a great boat/property manager and very attentive to us. There were a couple understandable hiccups and he was on the phone solving all issues right away. Overall, a fun experience and different way to experience Charleston!
We had an amazing and memorable stay aboard the Legacy. From the initial booking until checkout, Dan was a communicative and excellent host.
This was the first trip to Charleston for both of us and the city is charming. At the time of our trip, an Uber ride to the French Quarter from the marina averaged between $6-$7 before tipâhighly preferable to fighting for parking spots! We made a couple of easy day trips to Folly Beach and Fort Moultrie as well.
All in all, it was a great experience to celebrate my husbandâs 60th birthday. Thank you again, Captain Dan!
In the VRBO world, this is a treat. First, the boat was great. If you are worried about comfort, donât be. There is plenty of room for 3 or 4 people. The shower is tight, but works great. The host was fantastic and was available when needed. The location is fantastic with town a short Uber away. There is a restaurant and bar within walking distance. Lastly, the boat is the best value for 3-4 person stay. I looked everywhere and luckily found this boat. We had a great stay and highly recommend.
Sunrise is amazing from this boat, which is a beauty docked in a nice marina in a great location. It was fun to change things up from a hotel or rental house. You do have to remember that boat bathrooms are small and weird, but they work (after one repair early in our stay). Also the marina bathhouse is spotless and easy to access. We had a little trouble with an odor on the boat, but Dan was very responsive. (Also be aware that low tide can sometimes have a smell.) Overall boat is a really fun option for a short stay.
One of a kind experience for those looking for something different than a hotel.
While typically staying at hotels or âregularâ rentals we decided to experience staying on a small yacht for a few days. The location was perfect, close enough to the major downtown attractions while still enjoying the peace and calm of staying on the water. Unwinding on the upper deck in the evenings was very therapeutic. This is a great experience for those seeking something different besides the typical hotel experience. Accommodations were very comfortable but for those looking to cook a lot during their stay the smaller kitchen might prove to be somewhat challenging. Owner was very helpful in making sure we were well situated. Thank you for the great experience !
