The house was excellent. In a quiet neighborhood. The home was very clean and provided all that we needed. Tracy was responsive to our needs. I would rebook with her and the home without hesitation.
Perfect location and beautiful home!! We arrived early and were able to check in right away. The home was nice and cool - perfect relief on a hot day and long drive. The kitchen was perfectly appointed and had everything we could possibly want. There were many choices of sleeping options, which was great for one family member with back issues who found the beds a little soft. The couch was comfortable and he got good rest. The backyard was very nice and has the most intriguing firepit - it was too warm to light it, but we were all very interested in how it would look. The rooms without ceiling fans had tower fans in the closet, further making the rooms more comfortable. One room was very bright, even in the evening, and could benefit from another shade, but it was not unbearable. We hope to stay again at this beautiful home and were very appreciative of our wonderful hosts!
Beautiful family home, lots of comfortable family space. There was a foosball table & airhockey along with plenty of living area. (Barbecuing, dining, bkfst bar etc)Fun for all! To top off a beautiful short hike to a lovely pond! Fishing as well if you choose. Our host was amazing responding quickly to inquiries. Even extending our visit one extra day on short notice. Thank you for making our stay fantastic!
Positives: House was very clean. Spacious layout and well appointed. Great price point. Have room with foosball and air-hockey. Host responded quickly to messages. House is great location for food and fun and getting to ski resorts. Cons: There are a few that make this disqualifying for us as a good place to stay.1) master bed is super creaky. Any movement and the wood frame creaks and makes so much noise it woke both of us up with every movement.2) I donât believe the electronic code to the front door or the garage keypad are changed between guests. This is a significant safety concern for us. 3) Neighborhood has several homes with barking dogs. One in particular had dogs barking at it until almost 2AM on our first night there. The house directly next door has a deck overlooking the back yard and a dog there barked at me non-stop when I stepped outside. I reached out to host and in summary said thereâs nothing they can do about it or offered help. SoâŠfor those who might find this review after being in a similar predicamentâŠOgden City ordinance prohibits barking dogs after 8pm. Barking over 15 min prior to that time is also illegal. House with barking dogs is to SE - grey house located at 997 E 4525 SAnimal control during regular business hours: 801-629-8244Police dispatch for after hours: 801-395-8221Good luck
The accommodations were ok. There were a lot of stairs which was almost impossible for the elderly family that visited. There were dogs on three side of the property that barked all night every night. The family that stayed over night got no sleep due to the dogs. This is a deal breaker for future stays.
We wanted a place close to our sisters house that we were remodeling. We came home each night tired and had a clean nice place to relax and talk and play cards. The fire pit and the bbq. made it just perfect. The neighborhood was quiet and we were able to have a nice clean place to just spend time with all the brothers and our sister relax and recuperate for another day of work. We would recommend it to anyone. ps. It was good to have a place to wash our dirty work cloths.
No way to really say it outside of the title. My family and I stayed here during a time of need. The at home feeling, the amenities for our family and infant, the spacious living rooms. The list doesnât end.
Walk in and unpack because it felt exactly like we never left but were able to be 1500 miles from our actual home.
We were in town for a golf tournament. It was during the week of the Olympics and Tracy was great about coming over and getting it so that NBC was live on TV with one of the TV apps. Very kind because thatâs what we wanted to watch at night.
The hosts were cordial and accommodating. The house was so clean and perfect for our needs. My granddaughter left her sweet souvenir and hosts were kind enough to help us get it returned. Highly recommend !!!!
Lovely home in an excellent neighborhood and a wonderful part of town. Love the split level and how the family room is directly below the kitchen, yet you can still see the kitchen area. Tons of room to spread out yet not too far apart from each other. Loved the yard! Excellent communication from the owner. They are so incredibly kind and easy to contact. Would totally recommend this property and would love to stay here again.
My family and I enjoyed our stay and found it to be a restful experience. House was on a quiet cul de sac near the hospital. We ate in most nights. I communicated with the host, who was responsive and confirmed the propane grill in the pictures was operational and had plenty of fuel. We grilled multiple times and it was great.
House was very clean and the ability to use the garage to park was very convenient.
It was a memorable trip for my family and I, and I would stay at the host's house again when traveling to Ogden.
This place is great and very big. The house has so much room and different levels and beautifully decorated. There are instructions for everything in the house. We loved the home feeling to it. The property owner was very nice and responsive to all our questions. Itâs a great quiet neighborhood situated near everything lots of stores and restaurants nearby. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area to visit family again. We highly recommend this home for families who plan to visit the Hill AFB ĂĄrea.
We were in for a wedding so we really just slept there. It was perfect for what we needed it for. It does have a lot of stairs which was fine for us but if you have elderly staying there I would take that into consideration. But overall the stay was good.
The location was great and filled with movies and games, you can tell at one time the home was well loved. Unfortunately, the home is showing lots of wear with some things needing replaced or repaired. Poor communication from the property manager when an issue came up. It took us finding the owners number, texting them and finally received text communication from the property manager 16 hours after leaving the first message.
My family of five rented the home for the weekend, check in process and communication was efficient. How much clean well stocked and an awesome location. I definitely recommend and would stay again.
Jay and I said 'I DO!' in 2010, and began the rest of our adventure together with our combined 7 children, and their respective spouses and children. We now have 5 grandchildren. I couldn't bring myself to sell the house that I raised my children in for the previous 9 years, nor would they let me! So we chose to share our home with others who would delight in all that our area has to offer. We especially love the outdoors and take advantage of the skiing, hiking, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling and (my personal favorite) waterskiing! We know that we are truly blessed to live in such a diverse climate and geographical area. Such a variety of activities await! Southern Utah has some of the most beautiful scenery anywhere. Slot canyons are a must see. The Wind Rivers and Hawaii backpacking have been a pleasure to check off our 'bucket list', and we just returned from Mt. Everest Base Camp! Jay and I also appreciate good food, wine, beer and coffees. We have some personal favorites in the area and ask ourselves, 'Why would we need to go to Salt Lake City when we have so much here?!'
I especially love the view from this property. A view of the city from the front, and a view of the mountain from the back. The wooded area in the backyard gives an additional sense of privacy and coziness. The close proximity to shopping, food, golf, streams and mountains makes this property perfect for just about anything we want to do!
I fell in love with this home when I saw the secluded backyard with the"secret garden" and view of the mountains. I quickly added a back patio with gas firepit that seals the deal! I just can't get enough of the great Utah outdoor opportunities and feel so fortunate to be so close to so many amenities! Utah is truly a blessed place to be. Let us help you plan your best Utah experience ever!
