Wow! the view and so much character

This place is amazing! Great view, fully stocked kitchen, clean, and perfect location for a hiking holiday. Host very responsive and helpful. No complaints .

Great base

The apartment was nice , cozy, very well maintained and equipped. The view is beautiful and we enjoyed to be away from downtown in a quiet area , after long days hiking or biking. We used our car to get around and was fine , besides finding a spot to park . The only issue was the shower without a hanger , which is uncomfortable . However we’ve adapted, it can be fixed by the owners.

Lovely views and comfortable accommodation

Overall very good. The balcony has wonderful views over Cortina in the summer and probably equally good in winter. There was plenty of space in the apartment and comfortable bed and seating. Raffaele was very welcoming and he responded quickly to any queries we had. The only thing we didn't like was that the ceiling is a little low near the sink, but it was only a minor inconvenience.

Cortina ski week

Beautiful apartment with authentic style and wonderful views across the town and the valley. Very convenient with a car. A few minutes to town and easy access to parking lots close to centre. Easy access to Socrepes ski lifts. Two minutes drive to the car park. Better - rent a locker at the lift with boot warmers 60 Euro for a week and walk there in the mornings, 10 minutes and a pretty walk. Very responsive and helpful hosts. It felt like coming home in the afternoons after skiing, a lovely place to relax. It is up a few flights of stairs but easy to navigate. Completely recommend for two experienced skiers coming to Cortina.

Très bel apartement et la vue est incroyable (même la nuit)! Nous avons reçu 50 cm de neige et nous avons pu marcher au Village de Cortina et au ski ( Socrepes à 5 minutes) Vous pouvez louer un casier au Centre de ski et les laisser là donc la marche est encore plus facile. Merci à Raphaelle pour sa gentillesse!

Kontakt mit dem Gastgeber war sehr gut und sehr freundlich. Das Apartment ist wunderschön gelegen und hat eine tolle Aussicht auf Cortina und die Berge. Die Ausstattung ist super. Besonders schön fanden wir Rehe abends vom Balkon aus beobachten zu können.

perfect stay in a very nice appartment

we enjoyed our 10 days stay in this beautiful appartment with a spectacular view to Cortina d'Ampezzo. The appartment is on the 4th floor, very calm and cozy and we felt very comfortable. The check-in and checkout went very smoothly without any problems or concerns. the place is amazing, it has everything you need. The only "small" concern is the flush of the toilet which is a little bit challenging (but you get used in how to use it correctly). We can highly recommend this appartment and would love to come back again!

Incredible view, nice appartement

The apartment is very nice and clean with all expected facilities, private/personal furnishing and truly awesome vistas. Very minor shortcomings are the angled/lowish ceiling (watch your head, but you'll get used to that) and the bathtub which does not allow for standup showering. The apartment itself merits five stars due to the outstanding views and location. Unfortunately, check-in and check-out were not as "flexible" as it said online (no further specifications). Therefore, we had to reschedule our arrival and stay in a hotel the first night because we could not guarantee a timely arrival in the evening (before 21.30) and were not provided access to the keys. There was further uncertainty and doubt regarding our departure, though in the end we could leave as planned at eight o'clock without meeting our landlord at all, who lives 200 Km away. Verbal communication was very nice and friendly, however, messaging - which made up the bulk of our communication with regards to the apartment - was slightly brusque and kept us uncertain with regards to arrival and departure until the last minute. This last circumstance cast a minor shadow over our stay resulting in our four-star rating.

Perfect place to stay in a perfect location

This place is amazing!! It is a great apartment in a great location. Everything you need to be self contained but close enough to stroll into the town for restaurants and hiking. Can’t wait to come back. Host was so accommodating and responsive.

Vacanza da sogno ,panorama da favola ,la casa è veramente graziosa ,fornita di tutto ,immersa nel verde a due passi dagli impianti di risalita e a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro di Cortina.Il sig Raffaele si distingue per la gentilezza e cordialità nell’accogliere gli ospiti .Soggiornare nella DOMINANTE è stata una esperienza unica da ripetere

Excellent apartment with views over Cortina

The stunning view from this apartment is breathtaking. The property is located just outside Cortina high on the hillside overlooking the town and the glorious mountain backdrop. It takes around 20 minutes to walk into town - easy on the way down - energetic on the way back! When we visited in September the bus runs every hour and there is a stop nearby if you didn't want to walk. You can also drive but parking is expensive and hard to find. The apartment itself is very comfortable and well fitted. Rafaelle was very responsive and communicated well throughout our stay. Note this is an attic apartment which means you have to climb 3 flights of stairs to get in and there is limited headroom where the roof pitches downwards on each side. No problems with headroom in the middle though. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend the property.

Bellissimo appartamento mansardato fornitissimo ed attrezzato di tutto che gode di una impagabile veduta su Cortina. Si trova in posizione sopraelevata rispetto al paese che dista nemmeno 5 minuti di auto. Parcheggio auto privato nel garage. Spero di tornare.... consigliatissimo!!

Ausstattung der Wohnung war sehr gut, alles was man benötigt.Wohnung war sauber und ordentlich. Ausblick vom Balkon atemberaubend.Vermieter sehr nett und entgegenkommend. Schräge an der Küchenzeile etwas kopfstossend, das war aber auch bei Eingewöhnung kein Problem. Haus sehr ruhig, wir waren aber auch die alleinigen Gäste im Juni. Insgesamt ein toller Aufenthalt.

Amazing stay in the Dolomites

My wife and I spent 2 weeks here and absolutely loved it. We loved having our morning coffee sitting on the balcony enjoying the amazing view of Cortina below and the mountains all around. There is so much to do in this part of the Dolomites; we were hiking at Tre Cime, Lake Misurina, Tofana, Faloria, Lagazuoi and its WW1 tunnels, Lake Sorapiss, Cinque Torri, and relaxing by lake Ghedina. We also hired bicycles from Snow Service opposite Cortina bus station on 2 days and followed the great cycle path North to Dobbiaco the 1st day and then South to Vodo di Cadore on the 2nd day. The apartment has everything you could need for a self-catering stay and is only a 5 minute walk to the local bus stop which takes you into Cortina (or a 20-30 minute downhill walk into Cortina if you prefer). Raffaele made the whole booking process stress-free and promptly responded to any queries we had. Thank you Raffaele, We will definitely be back!

A unique and special VRBO

The owner is very accommodating, a pleasure to deal with and promptly replies to emails. The property has the most awesome view overlooking Cortina. It is in a very quiet area above the village, yet easily accessible to the village centre by car and public transport. The apartment is on the top floor with easy stair access. One has the sensation of being in a very private tree house with the birds and absolute privacy and tranquility. The apartment is tastefully furnished, well equipped and very comfortable. One feels privileged to be in a home that is unique and personal and not just a rental property. We have visit Cortina every year for the last 8 years and stayed in many different properties. This property is special. The photos accurately represent it.
