Overall the stay in the property was fine. We stayed here because there were few other options left. The good: good location, bathroom and kitchen were sufficientThe bad: expensive, inconvenient, and poor quality provided amenities. We were charged extra for linens and towels, even when the listing had them as "included". The towels we got we're low quality and smelled musty. We also had to pay tourist tax and these additional linen fees outside the VRBO app. The host also started communicating with us over WhatsApp without telling us she was switching from using the VRBO app. I understand these are against VRBO policy. The host was overly communicative with additional restrictions, details, and chat GPT generated recommendations. We planned to arrive at 7:30 pm and the host said that was a problem because her housekeeper could not check us after 7pm, despite the listing saying check in was any time after 3pm. So we arranged remote check in, and she gave us the information to let ourselves in. Despite this, on the day of your arrival, she said the house keeper would be waiting. Our bus was late, so as 7:30 came around she was texting me continuously asking where we were, asking for my location, etc because her house keeper was waiting for check in. Overall, if you are traveling internationally and you go to cortina, I would recommend booking early at a place more friendly to tourists with various schedules.
