The room is clean, comfortable and located facing other units near a small pool area. It was easy to access the beach and the larger pools. It would be nice to have pool umbrellas as shaded areas are limited. Overall, we enjoyed our time here.

This place was just perfect for me and my husband to get away it was clean and had everything we needed.The bed was super comfortable. We loved the sugar shack to get food for lunch and drinks it was so convenient we loved all the pools and how close it was to the beach.It wasn’t far at all from the shops food and put put this was our first time in orange beach and we will definitely be back. The only thing I wish was that the door was a keyless entry because the box on the door knob made it kinda of hard to turn to open and shut and I was nervous I was going to loose my keys somewhere but it honestly wasn’t a deal breaker.

We absolutely loved our trip to Sugar Beach 122!The host was so easy to communicate with and we even were able to add an extra day on to our stay with no problems!It was just a short walk down the stairs or you could take the elevator right down to the beach! Snack shop on site was a nice break for lunch one day!Only downside to Sugar Beach, which is not the hosts fault, is the parking spots are small! It is a squeeze into them! Would highly recommend staying here! I know we will stay here again!

Sugar Beach 122 was very nicely decorated. Had everything we needed. Loved being on the beach. The pools were nice. The exterior of the building was being painted. Hoping the interior hallways are updated as well. We did have something odd happen the last night. We noticed that the ac unit was moved from 67 where we had it to 70. This was concerning that someone had been in the room while we had it rented. We didn’t see anything missing, but just felt off after realizing that. This is the primary reason for the 4 stars!

Wonderful rental

So amazing on so many levels, bed was comfortable, condo was clean, pools were clean. Area was good, last 7 days at rental couldn’t not have been any better

Cute and very livable for a couple

Small and clean, a few steps to the Gulf and 3 adult pools and a kids pool. Right between Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. Seafood, souvenirs, grocery stores and entertainment all close by.

Orange Beach 2024 Trip

Enjoyed our trip. This was our first year to stay at Sugar Beach. The building itself needs some TLC. And parking spaces are tight. But overall was a memorable vacation. Already looking for next years vacation stay.

AC in room did not work. Had to buy a box fan to help cool room down. Only 1 elevator working and wait was up to 10 minutes at one point to use it. Condo was not clean at check in- sand everywhere.

Available parking meant you had to pay if you wanted to park in their lot. Should be noted with the cost. New air conditioner didn’t mean it was big enough to do the job. Broken outlet required a message to the host to get it repaired if we wanted to watch TV. The repair was to bring an extension cord to reach another outlet. Hope the broken outlet doesn’t cause a fire since it is still used to run the air conditioner. Did not stay the last night of our scheduled stay.

Comfortable

This was perfect for what we needed. Stayed for a festival weekend. Bed was super comfortable! For the most part it was clean but could use a good deep clean. Stains on sliding door curtains. Access to beach and multiple pools. We would stay again.

Check in was simple and fast all had to do was get parking pass from front security. Room was clean but run down. Needs an update, the ac is just a window unit and when we got there it was out of service. It was just blowing outside are in. So it was quite hot and the rental company was already closed by the time we realized it wasn’t just from it being a hot day and walking in and out. The communicate has a delay to it. But they gave me my money back for the full day we didn’t have cool ac running. The maintenance got a new unit in by night 3 for our 4 night stay. So that was a positive.

spring vacation 2015

The only problem we experienced was that the wifi only worked occasionally in the condo and when it wasn't working the phone was also out of order.

Very private

We felt very private and secure on our stay. A few tiny hiccups with quick responds. There isn't much cell service in the room, which is not a complaint while on vacation. There is only one pool out of 3 that was heated and no hot tub. We had a fantastic time and no complaints. Only suggestions would be invest in heating the other pools. Great day, would recommend!

Sugar Beach Condo

Condo was cute. Could have been cleaned a little better. Parking garage is terrible. Elevator was out of order during our stay. The bed was comfortable but the window unit could not keep the temp as cool as we preferred.

It is in a great location and just steps from the beach. We were happy with our room and it's amenities. We loved the Sugar Shack. We had drinks and lunch from it several days on the beach. It was great to not have to leave the property. Would recommend to a friend and would return!
