Situé dans le quartier de La estimé Buccaneer de l'East End de Sainte-Croix, la maison de la célèbre plage de Shoys, une longue paradis de sable blanc quart de mile. À proximité du centre-ville, où vous pouvez trouver des cafés pittoresques, des restaurants élégants, front de mer, promenade activités locales et des boutiques. Aussi, vers l'est, il ya des plages merveilleuses, plusieurs restaurants et un point Udall (le point le plus oriental des Etats-Unis)

A l'étage, cette villas de luxe dispose d'une grande aire ouverte, cuisine mise à jour, ouvert à coin repas, salle à manger formelle et d'un salon. Tous inondé de soleil magnifique de grandes fenêtres de bi-ouverture avec une vue panoramique. Les quatre suites haut de gamme tous ont mis à jour une salle de bains et une vue à couper le souffle.

Beautiful home. Spacious. Very well equipped kitchen and dining. The views are spectacular! Our host was very accommodating and responsive to all of our requests and inquiries. The location is also ideal: close to Christiansted and the marina. I would also like to mention that the grill was spotless, which tells you a lot about how the house is maintained. Highly recommend

This house was perfect for our family and our 2 and a half year old granddaughter! The host,Donna, could not have been more accommodating! The outside living space was amazing with an upper level that kept our granddaughter away from the pool. The property was beautiful and had 360 degree views of both sides of the island and the Caribbean. I would highly recommend this property to anyone and if we ever return to St Croix we will definitely be checking to see if this property is available. Thank you Donna for a great property and vacation to be remembered!

The view from the house is gorgeous & enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. The house is stocked with high end kitchen appliances, cooking utensils etc.We all enjoyed the pool & could get out of the sun with the pergola. The only downside was the bedrooms were detached from the main house. The house will fit a large group & has amenities for entertaining. The house is close to the Buccaneer resort where there is a nice beach & restaurant. Our family enjoyed our vacation & the outdoor environment the house provides.

We come to st.croix every year in January. This home was by far one of the most beautiful home we have stayed in. The neighborhood is fantastic and the views were absolutely stunning! Hope to be back next year

Amazing place!

This house is magnificent! The views are incredible from both sides. We loved the set up! The huge kitchen and living area are enclosed perfectly & the bedrooms are spacious and spread out. The pool is also amazing! We hope to stay again!

Spacious, spectacular views

This was one of our favorite rentals. The location at the very top of the hill provides views in both directions — Christiansted and sunsets, Buck Island and sunrise. We had dinner outside every night — even one night when it rained.

A vacation to remember

Our traveling party consisted of 4 couples, all over 50. We had a great time in St. Croix and this vacation home was the hub of everything we did. The bedrooms are large and air conditioned, the kitchen well stocked, and the outdoor space was expansive. We can't wait to return to this same home. The few minor issues that arose were handled quickly and communication was excellent.

Christmas at the Top of the Shoys

What a perfect vacation home! Pictures do not do it justice, the bedroom/ bathrooms, kitchen, pool and deck space far exceeded our expectations. Panoramic views everywhere you look. Donna was wonderful and very accessible. She answered any questions that we had. I would highly recommend this property and will be going back.

Perfect location with beautiful sunsets!!

My husband and I have been traveling to STX for 15 years sometimes 3 times a year. We love this island and love to share it with our friends. We usually stay in the gated Shoys neighborhood or somewhere close. We had one issue and a phone call to Donna and it was fixed within the hour. Easy check in and lots of room for 3 couples. We are missing the sunshine already❤️

Beautiful views for days

The property itself was stunning. Crazy views from every room. The rooms were nice (just the one room didnt have a working tv) The house was spectacular- altho i wish a little bit cleaner. After a few days of wind the whole inner area was super dirty. The pool was beautiful but too cold for my kiddos to swim in :( the location was perfect. And once again..the views 😍

Extraordinary!

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The view from every room is amazing. The kitchen is well-stocked with every cooking utensil and spice you could possibly need. Coolers, games, beach chair, pool toys, and snorkel gear are all provided. My kids loved seeing the deer and iguanas roaming around the expansive grounds, and my husband and I appreciated how safe the neighborhood is and the excellent location. Shoy’s beach is beautiful, and we also took advantage of the Buccaneer being literally 50 feet from the entrance to the neighborhood. This is truly a wonderful vacation home in an ideal location on the island. We can’t wait to return. Thank you!

Top of the Bunch

Top of Shoys is a beautiful property. It is up on a hill so it gets breezes all day. There are lots of outdoor living spaces. The bedrooms are nice and spacious, but the master bedroom and bathroom are huge. This is the first VRBO where I felt the photos didn’t do the property justice. There are beautiful views from every angle. The house has everything we needed. The pool was beautiful. I really can’t say enough good things.

Must Experience For Yourself!!

We recently stayed at Top of Shoys and had an absolute wonderful time. For starters the pictures don't do it justice and it's only once you get there you truly realize the beauty of both the property and the island of St. Croix. The suites are elegantly furnished and provide a first class experience. The pool was pristine and inviting. We were able to swim or lay by the pool soaking in the tropical sun during the day and a casual dip in the evening. The pool lights up at night adding to an already romantic setting (do remember to turn off the lights once you retire for the evening). Top of Shoys’ proximity to a nearby private beach and golf course, and short drive to the town of Christiansted made it an ideal location. Views, views and more views amidst tranquility and serenity allowed for a fun and relaxing vacation. We are definitely going to return in the near future.

Top of Shoys

We just stayed at Top of Shoys for a week. The property views are incredible and it really is at the top of the development overlooking The Buccaneer Hotel, Buck Island and Christiansted. WE LOVED THE HOUSE so so much!! The house had a few issues that could be easily fixed if communication was better with the property manager. The bidet in the master was leaking into the master bathroom walkway, pool skimmer was ripped to shreds, 2/4 bathrooms had NO hot water the entire stay. We made these issues known. After reaching out to Donna about getting a new pool skimmer to get the bugs out of the pool she said she would have one delivered the next day. That never happened. We shared showers at first and didn't tell her about the hot water until a few days into the trip. When I did reach out it was a holiday so we DIDN'T expect immediate service. She said she would send someone over on Monday morning and that never happened. Cold showers for the rest of the trip. We ran into a couple other issues like trash cans/pickup and a missing cap on the garbage disposal pipe. With no help from previous issues we stopped asking. We reached out about a late checkout due to flight delays and we also asked if we should be expecting people at the property the last day because there were two cars in the driveway and she never responded. In the islands it is important to have a property manager who is available during normal hours because it is really difficult to find certain items/fix issues on your own. We spent over $10,000 to have access to all four bedrooms and showers for our family. With that said, we expected the house to be in perfect running condition without ANY issues and OPEN communication with the property manager. If Donna had followed through it would have been a different experience. Just an honest review to help you when considering this home.

Thank you for coming to Top of Shoy. I am sorry that the pool net was not delivered as I had hoped. This was because we could not get one as they were sold out. I was not informed of this until after I read your review as I thought it had been handled. If you had reached out that it was not delivered, I would have followed through and found the reason it was not delivered as requested by me. The plumber Frenchie was there on Monday to check the water leak with the bidet. He said the guts had to be replaced. He said he locked off the water. The hot water in the downstairs and pool room was working though he explained it had to run for a bit to get hot. The cap off the vent pipe on the exterior was left off as we were having a venting issue with the sink, and this stopped it from backing up. Which I would have happily explained. I am not sure on the trash can situation as this is a government opened operation that we pay for. They collect the trash once a week. I would say unfortunately communication was not good with either of us. I should have followed through, and you should have felt free to call me if you felt things were not resolved. I apologize and hope to see you return to Top of Shoy! Donna

Everything would have been great sans Donna

I will start by staying never had I rented a place where the property manager limited access to rooms because of the number of people in my party. Just to be clear, while the villa offers 4 bedrooms I only had access to 2 because there were only 2 of us. Actually as per my earlier correspondence with Donna, she would have further limited access to just one bedroom had we been in a couple. (Yes, she messaged and asked if my friend and I were a couple/married as that will determine the number of rooms she leaves open). I politely responded that we would prefer the unrestricted experience of the villa, a request which she ignored. (Needless to say, there was no offer of proration). On the day of our check-in my flight was canceled leaving me to rebook and throwing off the day’s itinerary. I reached out to Donna informing her of the situation and that my friend will probably be checking in without me and was greeted with silence. My friend also reached out and got no response. Luckily, I was able to quickly rebook with another airline and instead got in an hour later than my original arrival. Growing worried that it was nearing check-in (2 hours away) and Donna appeared to have gone AWOL, leaving no instructions, I called Donna. On first impression, she appeared to be confused that I inquiring about check-in and grew reluctant to provide details as it was 2 hours away. I had to reassure her that I will not be getting there before 4pm especially as I was still in St. Thomas awaiting my flight to St. Croix. As she started to provide the details the phone disconnected and was unable to reach her again. We made it to villa, as a door was left unlocked and the villa did not disappoint, though I’d caveat by saying that I cannot attest to the state of the other 2 bedrooms. All in all, if your party is 4+ And you’re willing to be at the whim of the property manager, then I’d say go for it. Otherwise, you should spend your money somewhere that customer experience is valued!

Close to the Christenstead boardwalk with great restaurants. Only about 30 mins to the west end where we visited a few times. You also have access to Shoys beach (2min drive) where one day we were the only ones there. There are some beach chairs, coolers, beach towels, and some snorkeling gear available at the home. It was also one of the best stocked homes we have stayed in. Thanks again! We made some great memories here.
