What an awesome vacation rental! Great location, comfortable for the 6 people in our party. We made great memories on this vacation and can’t wait to come back!! I would however recommend a curtain or blinds on the back door and an umbrella for the patio set.

The home was very clean and spacious. The beach was nice and safe for children. Lots of good food on the island. This is the second time we've stayed there and would highly recommend it especially if you have a pet.

Not the house I rented for the week.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The beachcomber is the house I rented. The air went out and we had to move houses that took of 2 days of my vacation. It was very stressful as well. The lyons dens was offered to us and we took it, it was said to be better. We had a door that had no blinds and a neighbor next door. Also no tv in any of the bed rooms. My husband can’t sleep without a tv at night. It would have been happier with 2 windows units in the other house. We made the best of it. And ending up having a wonderful time. But the lyons den needs blinds over the door and tv in the bed rooms or at least one. Also no garage my grown boys fish most of the week and had to leave this stuff out. Also beachcomber is on the main strip and easier to get to the beach. We have been coming to Jekyll 15+ years and have used Jekyll Realty almost every time. I was thankful that we did not have to burn up all week but at the same time I did not like moving . The air works perfectly at lyons den. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed.

We had issues with exhaust fans in the bathrooms, chairs in the living room need replaced. Towels were very fluffy, but took long Too dry in dryer. After lint pipe was clean worked better. Drains in hall bathroom was slow, especially in the tub. We have rented this property before, liked it and chose to rent it again.

Lovely Spot for a Family Getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lyon’s Den was an excellent choice for our family! It was nicely decorated, comfortable, and homey. A large den/playroom off the main part of the house was great for the kids to play in and make lots of noise without involving the whole house. Highly recommend this property for families. It’s also an easy 5-minute walk from the beach! Only suggestions are related to cleaning: the house had been surface-cleaned just before our arrival, but there were a few spots (ledges, etc. - eye level or below) that had not been wiped in many months, which made the place feel less clean. Also, the dishwasher doesn’t clean very well. These things did not detract from our stay, which was wonderful, just wanted to include them to help for the next stay. We would definitely rent this house again, and also we loved working with Jekyll Island Realty. All the staff we worked with from booking to checkout where friendly, knowledgeable, and took time to make sure we had the information we needed to make the right decision for our family. Thank you!!
