Great Apartment

Perfect Holiday Stay

This apartment was lovely and spacious, spotless, in a great location, quiet, and has very friendly owners! Wonderful time in Cono

We had a short but great visit to Como, and really were happy with the apartment and hosts. The unit was very clean, well appointed, and central to everything. The hosts were very charming, friendly, and helpful. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Como.

Charming Como villa

The hosts went out of their way to welcome us and make us feel comfortable. The accommodations were peaceful, clean, relaxing and well appointed. The location was off the beaten path yet close to the shops, restaurants, transportation and market.

Wonderful stay in Como

We really enjoyed our stay with wonderful hosts Gigliola and Adriano. The apartment is located very close to the center, about 15 min walk, and the streets are mostly flat. Also easy walk to train and ferry. The apartment is spacious and has everything on needs to stay comfortable. Great find!!

Perfect stay and perfect hosts

My only complaint is that the apartment was so lovely, I hated to leave it in the mornings to go exploring! All reviews of 5 stars on this property are totally accurate. Hosts are as lovely as their home. There for only 3 days and felt like family.They recommended their friends cafe San Giuliano Cafe and it is wonderful! Highly recommend the stairs hike up to Bernate.I can’t say enough how great this place is! I will miss it for sure!

Wonderful and Quaint

Absolutely a great place to stay. Gigliola was fantastic to work with as we planned our trip. Very responsive. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood. A short walk to the main attractions. She would even bring us a few snacks as we sat outside and enjoyed a bottle of wine!

Comfortable and well located

We found the apartment very comfortable for three adults, and well equipped for a stay longer than the three days we had in Como. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful.The kitchen is very suitable for meals if required, and the hosts very keen to be of every assistance for shopping and other advice and information. The location is ideal, as it is close to the lakeside activities and yet in a quiet residential neighbourhood.

A comfortable apartment in a great location

Gigliola and Adriana were welcoming and attentive hosts. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable ten day stay. The views from the windows over the nearby church tower to the hills beyond the town are delightful. The location is perfect. Close to the town centre with all the shops and cafes, the railway stations, the bus station and the ferry boat piers. No need for a car with all the public transport close by. All in all a great holiday apartment.

Amazing host and wonderful place to stay!

This was a sweet rental in a residential location. The quaintness of the home and neighborhood is priceless, with the bell tower ringing the time 8:00-9:00pm. The hosts are wonderful and gracious. If you are active people, everything is walkable. But if not, their are buses at your fingertips. The house had everything we needed. We will defiantly come back to Como and stay here again!

MOST gracious hosts of all time!

Upon arrival, we were greeted by our gracious hosts to a beautiful, traditional apartment with lovely views and garden. The hosts were helpful, supplying a map and cards to recommended restaurants, along with a cold glass of water. The next morning I was greeted with a cup of coffee as I sat in the garden. The evening before I left, our hosts brought us delicious homemade chocolate truffles. They were the most lovely people.

"We enjoyed very much staying at the apartment. From the moment we arrived-the owner helped us finding it. The apartment is large and very comfortable. It was clean, with all the needed equipment for staying and cooking. The owner provided us with bread, cheese, coffee and spices. It is located at the heart of the city near the lake. The owner was very helpful and always around to assist. The only thing that needs a slight improvement is the lack of free parking on site."

Amazing

Everything about our stay here was unbelievable. The property and location were exactly as listed, if not better, and SO CLEAN. The view from the main bedroom was amazing, the gardens were beautiful, and the location was perfect; nice and close to the city center, but far enough that we felt like had a quiet and private spot--we travelled with our two kiddos (4yrs and 6yrs) and they had no problem with the walks to and from (especially when we were going for gelato). Our hosts were so wonderful, they were so kind and helpful; we felt safe and welcomed immediately. When we come back to Como, we would love to stay here again, and will be recommending this spot to anyone we know who will be travelling to Como.

A quaint apartment in Como, Italy.

We came to Italy for a family wedding; our first family European vacation. Gigliola and Adriano are lovely hosts. They helped us learn about transport from the train station to their adorable Lake Como flat. They live close by, and gave a personal and complete introduction to the property. Their restaurant referrals were so helpful, and Gigliola called ahead for us to make sure they were open. And Adriano even gave us a lift to the wedding at Villa Geno! The flat is a short walk up the hill from the city center, and far enough away to be very peaceful and quiet. It was perfect for us.

Charming, well-appointed and welcoming!

Gigliona and Adriano are the kindest of hosts! Even before you enter their home you notice the inviting patio calling you for wine and cheese or whatever suits your fancy plus the gardens are beautiful and an obvious labor of love. Once inside you notice the welcome of the front entry and then the spaciousness of this beautiful apartment - you feel at home immediately. There is obvious care and attention to detail in every room from the generously prepared kitchen to the comfort of all rooms. I really loved the hand soap in the bathroom - small things make a difference too! We walked everywhere and hiked the back hill one morning (e.g., 80 floors according to my phone app), ate great food and drank great wine. Gigliona and Adriano are wonderful and caring hosts in a beautiful place worth staying for as long as you can get away! Thank you Gigliona and Adriano! Liz, Pete and Max California
