"Perfect location in a 17th century palazzo. High ceilings, big windows with french balconies. Air condition, WiFi and an American kitchen perfectly equipped with everything you would need. So go to the market in the morning, buy yourself fresh fish, mozzarella, vegetables, fruit and wine, go to the beach in the afternoon and prepare your meal in the evening which you will enjoy sitting at a big table close to the window - and watch the poor tourists marching up and down the cobbled street in search of restaurants where the food and the feeling will never be as good as what you have! Afterwards - if you want to mix up with the crowd as a dessert - you can go out and join the corso, where inhabitants and tourists alike are walking up and down the main street and enjoy yourself in front of a bar with a cocktail or a campari soda, just watching the scene...
The owner, Mrs. d. T., who lives just around the corner was very friendly and helpful in any way although she does only speak Italian, if necessary she has a lady friend who speaks English...
We had a very good time and can definitely recommend the apartment to all those who prefer the feeling of being a part of a beautiful, ancient, small town and its everyday life (not to forget the two very nice beaches footsteps away!) rather than a crowded and touristy location...
