We had a wonderful week here as two families of four with children aged from 10-13. The house fit all of us comfortably and the pool was perfect. It would not be ideal for toddlers given the stairs and unfenced pool but was perfect for us. It is a short but steep walk to the beautiful beach and some bars, restaurants and a small shop. It's is an easy drive into Roses and off along the coast. There is no air con but there are fans in every room and there is usually a lovely sea breeze around the house. It had everything we needed for a really wonderful stay. The views are just amazing!
Lovely location but sadly the property was not up to scratch
Communication had been excellent and check in was easy. However when we arrived at the property we we disappointed. The garden was overgrown and strewn with cigarette ends . The loungers were mouldy, there was nowhere for 8 people to sit outside to eat together. The terrace light was broken, the BBQ was filthy and there was a wasps nest under the table.
Inside the house we found the fridge shelf was broken, the TV card had expired and the house itself had cobwebs and was generally dirty.
We spoke to the manager who sorted the BBQ and the TV card within a couple of days.
The hot tub had been condemmed and so we were not able to use the top terrace. For a rental at this price I would expect there to be wifi. We were told about this from the owner after we had booked and paid the deposit. The most dangerous thing is the metal trim on the staircase which ripped by husband's foot. The property could be lovely, the setting is fabulous but it just felt very neglected
