This unique cottage has it ALL !In residential but private with all yardage and landscaping!Inside fully equipped in kitchen plus extras !2 bedrooms spacious ! And the decorating is designer quality! Furniture super comfortable! Location close to town and shops can beach ! Great communication with owners !Highly recommend and would come back in a New York minute !!! However pure Michigan is in our hearts ! Farmers market a must do too!

The location was perfect for exploring New Buffalo, and beyond. The home is quaint, and perfect for our family of 4. The host was kind enough to leave extra bedding as one of our teenage sons preferred to sleep on the couch during our stay. We loved having beach towels, chairs, and bikes included with the rental! The kitchen was well stocked, and the front porch was a welcoming spot to relax. This home is walkable to all things downtown New Buffalo, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Perfect location!

We had such a great girls' weekend here! Its close enough to walk literally anywhere in town but still far enough from the hustle and bustle to be quiet in the evenings. Rebecca and Bill are very attentive and have a wealth of recommendations for the area. We would.love to come stay again!

Lovely home! Extremely clean and tidy, kitchen well supplied with cooking objects! Lovely wicker furniture on a cool front porch! On a busy street! Noise level high! Bathroom too small and difficult to navigate. Yard need work to clear grounds for walking and using. Not well maintained. Across street from high wire for electricity!Location could be better

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at storybook cottage. Very clean, comfortable and nostalgic vintage decor. Location allowed us to visit Chicagoland to the East and all of the Indiana/Michigan south shore towns.

Fun and restful week at Storybook Cottage in New Buffalo, Michigan

This small cottage welcomed us from the moment we stepped foot on its wicker furnished front porch and welcome flag waving us in. It had everything we needed for a week's vacation and was very close to town, the beach on Lake Michigan, a grocery store, and many restaurants nearby to choose from. The owner communicated well with us, and the only issue we had as seniors with disabilities was the difficulty of climbing stairs to get into the house, but we took our time coming and going and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in New Buffalo. We highly recommend this property to singles, couples, or a small group of friends or family. The charm of Storybook Cottage will make you feel very much at home.

Wonderful house equipped with everything you need. Close to everything in New Buffalo and host provided all the information needed. Only suggest would be more outside lighting along front walk and door. Loved it!

Very nice!

We really enjoyed our stay at the storybook cottage! It had everything we needed and we felt right at home. There is a strong potpourri smell that was very hard to get used to, so we spent a lot of time on the lovely porch! Everything in town is so close by! One thing I wanted to note is the listing says this is a waterfront property and the water is several blocks away. The description notes that, but I think this can be misleading.

Danke Liebe Rebeccas Eine bessere Vermieterin kann man sich nicht wĂŒnschen. Dank der hervorragenden Kommunikation im Vorfeld unserer Reise mit ihr war der Urlaub ein voller Erfolg. Ohne ihr gute zusammen Arbeit und Recherchen im Vorfeld unserer Reise, hĂ€tten wir nie das in und um New Buffalo erleben können was wir erlebt haben. Das Haus ist Sauber und fĂŒr alle BedĂŒrfnisse gut eingerichtet. Es gibt nichts was in einem modernen Haushalt fehlen darf. FĂŒr die Abendlich Unterhaltung ohne TV sind genĂŒgend spiel und Puzzle fĂŒr die kleinsten aber auch fĂŒr Erwachsene vorhanden. Selbst fĂŒr einen Besuch an dem wunderschönen Strand des Michigan See in New Buffalo ist mit StrandstĂŒhlen und HandtĂŒchern gesorgt. Danke nochmal an dich liebe Rebecca das wir GĂ€ste in deinem Haus sein dĂŒrften. Alles Gute fĂŒr die Zukunft wĂŒnscht dir Familie Andrzejak aus Deutschland Thank you, dear Rebecca You couldn't ask for a better landlady. Thanks to the excellent communication with her before our trip, the vacation was a complete success. Without their good work and research before our trip, we would never have been able to experience what we did in and around New Buffalo. The house is clean and well furnished for all needs. There is nothing that should be missing in a modern household. For evening entertainment without TV, there are enough games and puzzles for the little ones but also for adults. Even a visit to the beautiful Lake Michigan beach in New Buffalo is provided with beach chairs and towels. T

Great Stay at Lovely Cottage

Enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Storybook Cottage. The home was immaculate with very nice furnishings/decor and comfortable beds. The location was ideal for getting to downtown New Buffalo and the several quaint, lakeside towns to the north. This cottage truly deserves the high ratings it has received from those that have stayed there previously.

Storybook Cottage is a wonderful place to stay. It is close enough but far enough to do whatever you like. So peaceful was the cottage, escaping was so easy.

Girls Getaway

My 5 year old daughter and 65 year old mother adventured to New Buffalo for a relaxing Girls Getaway - and had a hard time leaving the porch of this amazing cottage! Rebecca was wonderful keeping me up to date of things going on in the area and local restaurants and we ventured out to quite a few, but always found ourselves wrapped in blankets chatting on the porch together. The location was perfect and everything was there to go to the beach down the street a few days also. We’d love to come back!

Sweet Stay at Storybook Cottage

We are two grandmothers who watched our infant grandbabies as our daughters enjoyed a bachelorette party weekend in New Buffalo. Upon arriving to the Storybook Cottage and passing through the fully blooming lilac bushes which smelled heavenly, we felt like we entered a Beatrix Potter book...what an adorable cottage this is! Neat and clean, it was fully appointed with everything we needed. Plenty of dishes, silverware, pots and pans and a loaded pantry, everything was provided down to paper towels, napkins, toilet paper and linens. Communication with the owners was friendly, helpful and thorough. Downtown was just a one block stroller ride away, so it was a super location! You can tell the owners take great pride in this place and strive to make staying there a great experience!!! I highly recommend this property if you're looking for a lovely place to stay in New Buffalo, MI! (Accuracy of listing score was lowered b/c listing said NO CHILDREN, which according to the owners isn't true...so perhaps that could be changed...)

Lives up to its title

This home lived up to its title "Storybook Cottage". It was very cute and welcoming and everything as described. The beds were very comfortable and the entire house was well stocked. The kitchen had everything that you would need. The area was so beautiful and New Buffalo is such a charming little town with so many amenities. A definite 5 star visit.

Rebecca and her husband, Bill met when they were both in the sixth grade talent show at New Buffalo Elementary School. They wonder--since they were in the same class starting in kindergarten--why it took them so long! After college, both moved away from the area but, after reconnecting, getting married, and birthing two baby girls, they were quick to return "home" in order to give their girls the same advantages they had growing up. It is true--every member of the Conway family knows he or she is fortunate to live in a one-stoplight town on a big lake with small town advantages and big city opportunities. The family resides just a few houses down from Rebecca's family home and enjoys sharing the Storybook Cottage with others.
