Vue sur l'océan depuis cette unité de coin au 4Úme étage à North Ka'anapali. Rénovation terminée en novembre 2015 avec une nouvelle cuisine, des salles de bains, une nouvelle couche de peinture et des touches décoratives.
Des ventilateurs de plafond et un climatiseur de fenĂȘtre dans le salon aident Ă  garder le condo au frais. Ce condo comprend une chambre principale et une salle de bain en bas des escaliers. La chambre en mezzanine Ă  l'Ă©tage avec lit queen a sa propre salle de bain 3/4 avec douche Ă  l'italienne. Voir l'ocĂ©an depuis votre vĂ©randa. Apportez votre Ă©quipement informatique et profitez d'un accĂšs Internet sans fil gratuit dans notre condo.

A comfortable stay

Loved the view from the lenai although the chairs could be replaced. We enjoyed the fact that there were beach chairs and other beach and pool amenities. It was great to have not only a ceiling fan but additional fan in every room. We probably cooked a little more than most people so we would have like more kitchen items, but for the normal vacationer it is probably fine. We’ve been to this resort before and still really like it! Aloha

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at the Papakea Resort for 40+ years in a variety of units - the Resort is great - this unit however needs some major TLC before we would recommend staying in it.

Very worn out unit dirty and broken stuff.

Dirty when we arrived. Food on the floor in the bedroom. Dirty pan in oven, dishes seemed to have been put away without being washed so had to run them thru the dishwasher. The dishes and appliances seem to be from garage sales. They are all mismatched, two teaspoons only. The blender had a lid that didn’t fit that broke when using g for the firstime and plastic fell into the pina coladas that we had to toss. There is black mold in bathroom and the caulking around the shower is peeling away. The dryer has broken parts. The flooring is uneven and has duct tape and painters tape where they tried to stitch it together. The rug in the living room was curled up and I trippped on it. My husband and I moved the couch to hold it down to prevent another falll. Dust bunnies on and under surfaces. There is a remote a the tv in the bedroom but no tv. The lanai has a bird population so there is poop all over it. The oictures are very old. We washed the table but in the process got pooped on so it makes it unusable. Conflicting info from chasin rainbows about checkin. No response to emails or texts before departing. If you call they do look t have an option to leave a message but ask your patience for the difficult times on Maui. Calling Venice’s auniques loop. They would put me on hold and then the call would drop due to inactivity. After several callls they finally said to check in at the Papakea office. Many hours wasted.

We went on a family vacation (4 families with separate condo's all at the Papakea Resort). The Resort grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. There is little to no sand beach at Papakea. But you can walk down one or two resorts for good beach access. Unfortunately when we arrived our property management company, Chase N Rainbows, had given the front desk the wrong dates. The check-in staff could not reach them and could not confirm our dates or if the condo was cleaned before we entered. Since we had our confirmation email we were given the keys. Thankfully the condo was clean and ready for our arrival. Chase N Rainbows responded via text about an hour after we were given access. The condo was clean but in major need of TLC and upgrades. The furniture was very worn. The screens needed to be cleaned and the window shades were damaged. Most of the details we were okay with until we saw the other condos (rented through other property managers). The other condos were beautifully renovated with working appliances, newer furniture and better equipped kitchens. Our garbage disposal didn't work, the floors were lifting and created a tripping/pinch hazard if you were walking in bare feet and the air conditioner didn't reach to the Master bedroom. The patio had an amazing view but was dirty and the furniture was very worn. Upon check out, we didn't receive a check-out text from housekeeping and the number given was incorrect. Still no word as of this review.

Had a great stay! Great view and clean. Recommendations - need to get 2-3 fans for the unit or more AC units, it is very hot and the AC does not reach the bedrooms - updating the bedding would be nice. Better pillows and better comforters/blankets.

The interior is very nice and the main bedroom bed was very comfortable although the thin comforter was a little scratchy. The kitchen supplies were haphazard and we had to use a makeshift lid for the rice cooker, but this was a small thing. Be aware, this unit does not provide shampoo, conditioner or body wash. There are tiny soaps provided however. Also be aware that there is no in -unit safe.I thought that Chase'n Rainbows worked really well with me to find this unit after we had to cancel our trip last year. I would definitely work with them again.

Outstanding accommodations, excellent service when we needed an airconditioner issue ( it turned out to be more of a "user" issue than a maintenance problem ). We will only be going thru Chase'N Rainbows for future Maui Fun.

The condo itself is clean and spacious, perfect for our family of 4. The A/C works well, though a bit loud. There are also fans in both bedrooms and the living room area. The washer/dryer were small, but worked well. The resort itself is very conveniently located for going to popular beaches as well as restaurants/grocery. The pool areas (2 pools) were well maintained and there were shuffle boards, putting green, and tennis courts on site. We loved the lively feel of West Maui.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is in a great location and the resort was really good. However, the condo was not very clean especially in the loft area and bathrooms.The furniture is older and worn. The balcony chairs are almost dangerous - it feels like they may flip over backwards if you aren't careful. There is masking tape on chairs and the floor in an attempt to keep flaws from getting worse.I could have overlooked all of that until we found several cockroaches (enough to feel the need to go out and buy traps that night)! The next day was our departure - I told the front desk. They just said, "Ok, we'll have it sprayed." Why couldn't it have been sprayed before our (rather expensive) stay?!? When I let the management company, Chasin' Rainbows, know after we returned - they made absolutely no apologies and said that it's a tropical area and cockroaches are normal - that they personally have them in their house, car, etc. Nice customer service!

Perfect for a relaxing holiday

This is our second visit and we will be back. My wife and I travelled from Newcastle Australia with 3 of our adult children, their partners and 2 grandchildren both aged 20 months. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable and the facilities at the resort were great. The lawns are immaculate and great for the little ones to run around. There are a range of shops and services across the road including a supermarket, restaurants, medical practice, massage/spa etc. The boardwalk into Whalers Beach is a pleasant walk and there are lots of A grade shops for those who like shopping as well as some lovely bars and restaurants. Dukes is a 700m walk from the resort and offer great meals and drinks and are very family friendly. Papakea resort is a perfect place for families couples or the elderly to enjoy a wonderful Maui holiday - highly recommended.

FABULOUS resort!

This was a well equiped very nicely decorated unit with a great view!! We have stayed at the Papakea many times before and except for the ocean front units, this particular unit has the nicest view of pool area and ocean that we have seen. We all loved it! Thanks for a great stay!!!! We will be back!

Loved the location and the suite

Great place to stay enjoyed our time, liked the location and access to the water, would have been nice to have a beach out front but the suite made up for it anyways. Nice views of the ocean and many facilities at the resort. The main bedroom would have been nice to have black out shades over the window to make it darker for sleeping. Excellent suite, would definitely stay again.
