A great detour breaking up a long flight back to the states!

Had a great view, was close to everything and in a nice area. The on site restaurants and shops were very convenient. So great to be Oceanside with beautiful beaches and sunsets! Great retreat at Ilikei!

Pleasantly surprised by this nice unit for two. The area was great for beach and pool relaxation. Didn't need a car - everything was within walking distant!

Stay in Waikiki

Overall we had a very nice stay here because we were married here on the island! We realize this is an older property but everything seemed to work fine. Even though we understand this is not a hotel rental it still would have been nice to have enough supplies like bathroom toilet paper for the duration of our stay or even some coffee for the first few nights. Also it would have been nice to have both sliding doors functioning instead of just one because we had to squeeze behind the couch to access the lanai. Bed was a little uncomfortable and felt bumpy. We would recommend replacing the toilet brush because we constantly had to use it. Also a regular ironing board would be better. All things considered we had a great stay on the island and this location is the best in our opinion and also the cheapest parking lol! Thanks so much!

Great View, but...

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view from the 12th floor was awesome, a perfect spot for the Friday night fireworks show. However, the bed was pretty uncomfortable, stiff and firm, the pillows just plain sucked. The throw pillows and extra blankets smelled "old". Now granted we didn't spend a lot of time in the roof as we were exploring the island, however, for the price, We would have expected something a little better. Then what we got.

15th Anniversary Trip

Property is in perfect location for the Mall, Great Restaurants, the Beach , and awesome view of Fireworks. If I had anything bad which really isn’t much but internet is very very slow. Great views from balcony !

PROS - Great view - Very nice and clean room - Great location - Property manager was very responsive CONS - Internet was horrible (speed test showed between .5 and 3 mb/s, and it was very spotty) - Shower temperature fluctuated a lot and wouldn't stay warm

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a beautiful room, had a beautiful view, and the resrvation was a pleasant experience. However, the internet was horrible. I ran several speed tests and they registered between .5 and 3 mb/s. The internet also would go out every few minutes. The shower would not remain a consistent heat either.

U have ur own kitchen so if ur on a budget you can do some of ur own meals. Breakfast on the balconey looking iut to the sea fantastic. We booked nesxt door at the village and then found this place at it was less than half price. These our spending money thanks very much!

Winter get away

Reviewer Comments: we were very happy with the accommodation, one side of the patio door did not open and we brought that to Kaina Hale's attention and we opted to wait till we leave for them to properly fix the problem. In our opinion the unit should of had dishcloths and dryers as well as a broom and dust pan and perhaps a mop and pail. The unit was very spacious but was lacking storage having said that we would love to come back, this unit was very comfortable.

Great accomadations, won't be disappointed.

The condo was great. A wonderful view from the balcony; had a full size kitchen; comfortable king size bed; modern bathroom and living/tv area was great, which included a small desk area. Conveniently located in the Waikiki downtown area, with lots of shops, restaurants within walking distance. Resort had very nice restaurant and its own shops in the lobby area. Would definitely recommend, for a small group, also has a sofa with a hideaway bed. And very affordably priced.

Reviewer Comments: Shortly before arriving in Hawaii for our 2-week vacation, my wife and I received word that there was a plumbing problem in our promised unit. Mr. Mita from Kaina Hale Hawaii Realty made sure that we had a suitable and acceptable place to stay in while the unit was being repaired. The second unit was wonderful and, in fact, an upgrade from what we had originally rented. We will certainly contact Kaina Hale Hawaii Realty when we visit Hawaii again.

Fantasic Service by Kaina Hale

This review is not specifically for the unit in question, but for the property managers that rented us the unit. The unit we reserved had an unexpected and unavoidable issue prior to our arrival that prevented us from being able to stay there, but I want to commend the property managers at Kaina Hale for their excellent service and professionalism. A few days before we were to leave, Kaina Hale contacted us about as issue with the unit. They promptly clarified the situation and immediately set to finding us a new place to stay, inquiring about our needs and handling the process with haste, professionalism, and courtesy. Within a day, they had found us different accommodations in the same building and worked to meet our needs and ensure that our vacation was a relaxing and hassle-free experience. I commend them for their service and would recommend renting from them in the future. Thank you Kaina Hale!
