Mountain get away
The cabin itself needed a good cleaning, the grass has not been recently trimmed. Mice droppings in the cabinets, mouse traps in open view . The light fixture in the ' sitting area ' had a large amount of dead bugs in it and the globe was cracked( looked like it may fall at anytime. ) The bed linens were very worn, thankfully I had packed my own. The hot tub was very clean and well kept.
I am so sorry you found so many items that need to be corrected. The only excuse I can make is that during the summer months it is booked so much, our cleaning lady has little time to clean and less time to repair. Often she has to clean between rentals occurring the same day. I was not aware of all these items though, so will discuss with her what needs to be done in the future.
Quaint romantic/fishing destination.
This is a small but lovely cabin snuggled amidst breathtakingly views with a beautiful farm/livestock ranch to the front and a literal bubbling brook to the back with trout happy to hop on your line! The interior was well stocked and our only complaint was the cleaning crew obviously rarely looked above eye level. We removed lots of dust from ceiling fans, tops of window castings and doors before sleeping the first night. There is a hot tub that appears well kept, but we were so entertained with fishing, watching the neighbors horse and cattle, walking our pups and letting them enjoy the stream and fire pit, we never made it in! We would definitely consider coming back.
Exactly What I Needed!
This little cabin is perfect for getting away from it all and enjoying the mountains of NC. Everything was perfect and comfortable and met my expectations. I went by myself to work all weekend and the WIFI was great but zero cell service, which was what I needed. If you want to disconnect with your phone for a few days, this is the place for you!
Glad you enjoyed your quiet getaway. Your compliments are greatly appreciated.

Amazingly beautiful and peaceful little getaway cabin
Absolutely wonderful place to get away and relax. The views of the mountains and trout stream are breathtaking beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub while watching and listening to the creek in the back ground. Will definitely be visiting again!
