Perfect accommodation for our party of four. Away, but not too far away from the craziness of Tamarindo. The beach is steps away as are some good restaurants. Other residents / owners were welcoming and courteous. Rachel, the “condo mom” was very sweet and helpful.

Thank you for choosing Villas Langosta 8 for your vacation! This comfortable 2 BDR beachside condo is perfect to relax. The unit located on the ground floor has a cozy outdoor patio perfect to eat your meals and enjoy the beautiful grounds around. Nature is your best friend at Villas Langosta. The complex has direct access to the beach, a nice pool, a free parking, and proximity to the town of Tamarindo. The condo is fully equipped for 4 people.

Spacious apartment with a large balcony and gorgeous view of the sea.

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment and highly recommend it. The view from the balcony and walks along the beach which is steps away, make up for the 25 minute walk to town. The access to the Crocs hotel is an added bonus.

The apartment was very nice, spacious and clean, equipped with everything we needed. The location was also perfect for us: little away from busy Tamarindo, yet in reach. Pool right in front and a beach with beautiful sunsets a few steps beyond. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Thank you for the nice 5-star review about your stay at Villas Langosta, condo number 8. This property is located a few steps from the beach in a beautiful residential part of Tamarindo. The neighborhood is quiet and perfect for walking around the blocks or on the beach. You have the wildlife around you and this beautiful volcanic beach. Villas Langosta is a gated community with parking, a shared swimming pool and security on site. The unit is on the lower floor, with 2 BDR's, a full kitchen. It works great for families with kids with a patio facing the pool or for friends and couples.

Great condo

This condo is in a great location and is well kept. It is about 1 mile to Tamarindo, so it is away from town just a bit. We took scooters into town, but you can also walk or rent a golf cart. The beach is wonderful and my kids enjoyed body surfing. The pizza place across the street is fantastic! Highly recommend this condo!!!

Thank you for the great review and feedback on the Villas Langosta 8 condominium. This property is located in the neighborhood of Tamarindo, Langosta, in front of the beach and only 1 mile from the shops and restaurants in town. Perfect location close to the beach and town amenities, you can easily disconnect and enjoy the beautiful fauna and flora around. Villas Langosta is a little gated community and it has its small community inside for real! You will fall in love with it! Pura vida!

We've been staying in this condo since 2009, except for 20 & 21. We love all the upgrades in recent years. The condo has had a beautiful makeover. RPM, and especially Lola are pleasant to deal with and always respond promptly. This trip, we were there when the automatic gate to the property was installed and think it's a great feature. Makes the property feel even more secure. Also, love the combo lock on the condo and would like to see one on the backdoor and on the beach gate. A guest could have one combo number for all gates/doors. A real convenience! Looking forward to returning in 2023!

Amazing Stay @ Villa Langosta #8!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Langosta and would absolutely recommend and or stay again. The unit was well appointed and as described, perfect for our family of 4. The management company was excellent and very responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay. We loved the groundskeeper, Guillermo and the cleaning staff did a great job of preparing and maintaining our unit. The kitchen had all we required. The location is outside of Tamarindo but only a very short commute and we loved the quiet. Renting a golf cart to get around was a big highlight for our kids. The only constructive feedback I would provide is perhaps an upgrade to the pool furniture however this is not unit specific. Thank you to the owner, Lola & German for opening up this unit to our family. We created amazing life long memories! The Moir's

Overall fine, but likely to not return

Please be aware that you will need the property address or close landmark to share with customs officer otherwise you cannot leave the customs area. That would have been helpful to know in advance. Occidental Hotel is what you likely will need to tell them. The property is steps away from the beach. It's not crowded. Good to just sit and relax. The house came with a couple of beach chairs, which I appreciated.There was one particular resident/visitor that had the audacity to ask me and my husband if we were renters and where we were staying. It was an unfortunate exchange. Particularly, because she didn't ask anyone else at the pool if they were supposed to be there. Definitely put a damper on the vibe. The shops and restaurants are in walking distance. Depending on how fast you walk, 20 to 30 minutes. We enjoyed the food truck Mahi Mahi. Fresh fried mahi and fries. I plan to stay in a different part of Costa Rica next time we visit. Overall it was fine.

Thank you for the review about Villas Langosta 8. Villas Langosta is a very nice gated community located in front of the Langosta beach and a short mile away from the town of Tamarindo. There are 11 units in total with a free parking, security on site, a shared pool and direct access to the beach. The condo is nicely decorated, has 2 BDR's, 2 BTHR"s and comes fuilly equipped for 4. The small patio/terrace outside faces the garden, grounds and pool. Villas Langosta is a very quiet and safe gated community with lots of repetitve customers who fell in love with the local community here. For future guests to know, we do not have street names or property numbers in Tamarindo/Langosta so the addresses do not really exist down here. Customs usually do not ask our guests for an address, at least we have never been required this from others before. We are glad you were able to make it through, though, T.! Please also note we manage this property unit but not the complex itself. We are unaware of residents or other owners living there asking weird questions to guests. We apologize for the uncomfortable experience even if we have no control over this kind of situation and which for we have no responsibility.

Great place for a relaxing vacation. We wish we had more sandy beach; however, we still enjoyed it. The pizza place across the street is amazing. Rental company very responsive and all very friendly.

Casa Om - A truly relaxing sanctuary.

Just a short 100 foot walk to the beach, this secluded property was exactly what I needed to recharge. It has a patio to enjoy the ocean sounds, a meditation room, and a reminder to stay calm. There is a small market and pizza shop (coal fired) across the street and it's a 15 minute walk to town. The beaches are pristine and very secluded, and the sunsets are unbeatable. The only area I can suggest for improvement was the couch/chairs are not good for those with bad backs (couch is a futon).

Wonderful property just the right distance off the beaten path. Had a wonder few days enjoying the beach, pool, and friendly neighbors. There is a nice grocery store less than a block away as well as a few restaurants. Will gladly stay there again.

Wonderful!

We loved Casa Om! It is large, clean, and bright. The location is perfect, just a quick drive to all the shops and restaurants in Tamarindo but away from the touristy crowds. Villas Langosta is a small gated community, so it was quiet and relaxing. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance. The patio is just steps away from the pool, where we saw 3-4 howler monkeys in the big mango tree every day. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed, including a fantastic blender for making our own batidos. The management company had great communication, provided all the detailed information for checking in and out, and they have an office across the street if you need them. The only thing we were disappointed with was the beach. It’s basically all rocks; you can’t really go in the water unless it’s high tide, and you need to be careful. We walked about 10 minutes on the path to the left past the Occidental resort and then there weren’t any rocks, but that wasn’t as convenient as just being able to walk right out front so we spent more time at the pool instead. Overall, we really enjoyed staying here.

The condo is artfully decorated and offers a cozy homey living environment. We love to cook and the kitchen was modern and well equipped. The king bed was super comfortable. We enjoyed the propane grill. We had all our meals on the patio with a great view of the pool and ocean. Villa Langosta is a small(11 condos) and friendly resort. The gated grounds and pool are beautifully maintained. The beach is steps away from the condo and every evening we would enjoy the sunset. The beach is uncrowded and is a pleasure to walk. The manager RPM was very responsive to all our inquiries. A well stocked grocery store is a block away and downtown Tamarindo is a easy 20 minute walk. We give villa Langosta #8 our highest rating.

Amazing Beach Condo!!

It was pretty much your own beach.....maybe saw a hand full of people on our beach whike we were there! Amazing location, very nice property, clean, safe and awesome! Swimming pool too! Walk out youor back door amd u are at thr beach in 15 seconds! I look forward to staying here again when i return to Costa Rica!! Thank you!

You can stroll into Tamarindo for a bite or a drink, or walk two doors down to the Barcello... and still feel like you are away from it all.Small market is a few steps away.Thanks so much for the stay....We will be back!Pura Vida
