Located just 20 minutes south of Playa del Carmen and 15 minutes north of Tulum, Akumal is the perfect home base to explore the natural treasures of Quintana Roo and the Yucatan Peninsula. We have fabulous Beaches, Mayan Ruins, Snorkeling Lagoons, Quaint Villages, Animal Reserves, Secret Cenotes and the World Famous Turtle Bay... all just a short drive away.

Camp Akumal is located in the Jungle in a gated 4 acre complex with 10 upscale vacation rental houses and 2 pools. The property is beautiful and ideal for families and couples, however we are not walking distance to the beach.

Our property is an alternative to beachfront all-inclusive resorts. We are set up for vacationers who want to rent a vehicle (or for the more adventurous - to travel by local public transportation) and see everything and do everything. There are so many different beaches, cenotes, parks and historical sites close by that you could do something totally different everyday! We cater towards travelers who are looking for the adventure of a lifetime.

We are situated in Akumal, which is central to all the wonderful things to do in the Mayan Riviera. 35 KMS to the north of us in is Playa del Carmen and 25 kms to the south is Tulum, and mere minutes away is Turtle Bay.

We rent cars on property so you can rent directly from us and we can arrange your airport transportation as well!
