ground floor combines traditional charm with modern comfort. The entrance opens directly onto the street and leads into a cosy open-plan living area, consisting of a fully equipped kitchenette, dining area and sofa bed. A distinctive element of the house is the splendid round stone vault, typical of ancient Ragusa houses, carefully restored to enhance the authenticity of the environment. A small hallway on the right leads to the bathroom with shower stall and the practical laundry room. Continuing on, you enter the double bedroom, intimate and quiet. Ideal for a relaxing stay, this house offers well-kept rooms, authentic atmospheres and a perfect location for exploring the historical and architectural wonders of Ragusa AND Ragusa Ibla on foot.
Ragusa, located in the south of the island, is spread over two hills, where the old and the new intertwine in a fascinating way. The oldest part, Ragusa Ibla, is a labyrinth of cobbled streets, wrought-iron balconies and Baroque churches that tell the city's history. The squares, such as the Cathedral of San Giorgio, are a concentration of art and architecture, while the numerous Baroque churches, including the Church of San Giuseppe, are treasures to be discovered. On the other hand, Upper Ragusa is a modern city, with wide boulevards and elegant shops, but still with a touch of Sicilian elegance.
