This flat house with two holiday flats (which can be easily combined and are therefore ideal for two families) is located at 1800m, directly in the Falkert skiing and hiking area in the Carinthian Nockberge mountains.
Our house, which we completely renovated in autumn 2023 and also built a lift, has 2 holiday flats that can be easily combined.
The entrance to the Panoramablick holiday flat is on the ground floor.
When you enter the flat you reach the spacious living area with sitting area (extendable for another person), "tiled stove" heated with ethanol for cosy hours, satellite TV, books and various board games. This room also has a dining area with extendable table and an open, fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, kettle, filter coffee machine, NESPRESSO coffee machine, microwave, toaster and various kitchen appliances.
The kitchen area leads to the cloakroom, storage room and a bathroom with WC and shower.
A spiral staircase leads to the 1st floor to the two bedrooms (each with a double bed). One of the two bedrooms leads to a spacious, south-facing balcony with deckchairs and seating.
There is another flat door between the two bedrooms, from where you can also access the staircase and lift. This means you can take your luggage into the flat via the lift and don't have to walk up the spiral staircase.
From the house entrance, turn left into the ski room, where you will find toboggans and ski boot dryers. Right next to the house there is an adventure playground with swings, trampoline (with net), tree house, beach chair, campfire site and a skill course (farmer's golf) for our guests. On the large sun terrace there is a table tennis table, a sandpit, a slide, sun loungers and a large garden set with barbecue. You can spend cosy hours there.
The village of Falkertsee is located (between the Turrach and Bad Kleinkirchheim) in the middle of the picturesque Nockberge mountains between 1,720m and 2,308m above sea level. It is an ideal hiking and skiing area for the whole family in healthy alpine air. The famous "Heidi Alm" park is also located here, where our guests receive a 50% discount.
In summer, the mountain has prepared a special offer for its guests, which is partly free or 50% off for our guests: introduction to climbing on the via ferrata including rope slide, introduction to technical climbing on the climbing wall, fish & fun at the Heidi Alm pond, slackline - balance and coordination training, as well as geotrekking - parent-child orientation tour. For climbing enthusiasts there is a challenging natural via ferrata - Falkensteig. In addition, the Nockberge National Park offers a wildlife observation hike with sunrise here at the Heidi Alm, as well as herb tours.
In winter you can go skiing, cross-country skiing, ski touring, snowboarding, snowshoeing, winter walks,... on the Falkert. A varied leisure programme such as guided torchlight hikes, guided snowshoe hikes and ski tours, ski races, cross-country skiing taster sessions,... are on offer. In the ski school with ski hire, all those who want to learn to ski (snowboard,...) or simply perfect their skills are in good hands! The "little ones" learn to ski playfully and with a lot of empathy. Children under 6 ride the lift for free!
